No, he can't heal in this scene (when the parasite is still inside him). That's why it's very risky when he did it himself because if he fail to pull out the parasite he died. But after this parasite out, he heals like normally
Thanks, saves me the time of explaining that his heart stopping isn’t nearly enough to kill him. It’s like alucard’s head being cut off, you still have to go through steps 2-10.
Logan is just THAT GUY. He put his hand in his own chest and ripped that thing out. That takes so much commitment and survival instincts is insane This scene reminds me of that guy that sawed his own arm off with a pocket knife to free himself from a boulder in the middle of nowhere, you never know the savage in yourself until life pushes you there
I'll do you one better, a doctor in the antarctic had appendicitis, and did surgery on himself with a mirror, alcohol, and I think had some untrained help? To do surgery in himself.
imagine seeing a giant spider like creature casually chilling on your heart, the thing that keeps you alive, just chilling on it and your just sitting helplessly staring at the xray
Yea, his healing factor is still weakened. However, fun fact, even while he's healing, it hurts. More than likely cuz of everything having to reattach and repair itself accordingly. Kinda like how wounds still hurt for us despite them being healed
@@elitepringle4kthat’s because Deadpool is in constant pain since he’s technically a walking corpse. Unlike Wolverine who replaces dead and dying cells with living cells, Deadpool‘s healing factor replaces the dead cells with dying cells. He is in constant pain but seems to have gotten used to it due to it being a thing for so long now
I really do like the simple blood and gore in this film, in the Extended Cut of course cuz you're seeing them where you would naturally expect instead of just not being there or spewing out like water from a fire hose. And that nuked Wolverine. And I still wonder why people think that PG-13 is within kid friendly territory despite it being PG-13 for a damn good reason
Actually there's several. I watched a video on the most painful ways to die not too long ago. The #1 spot was caused by radiation sickness and was more painful than falling into an active volcano.
Yeah the guy who shows up to fight Logan after he finishes surgery. It's not a blunder of the movie. Stop trying to be cinema sins. They haven't been funny in forever. P.s he literally shows up in the scene 10 seconds later
Yukio: "I saw you die... with your heart in your hand." She was right. Decades later, Logan died with his heart in his hand. That heart being his daughter, Laura.

He can heal either instantaneously or barely at all...I am confused 🤔 Deadpool would just take a shotgun to the chest and be ok...that's what I would do I if I was Wolverine. Full howitzer blast lol
People who are wonder how did that get there well viper put that in him when Logan was sleeping early in the film in what looked like a forced kiss Which is honestly a plot hole to be honest considering there is no way that thing reached his heart from his mouth to throat Still great movie though
I remember this scene because I was watching this alone at 2am in my room and it just so happens that I had a minor stroke at that very moment, I couldn't control my hands and I forgot how to talk, fun times, do not recommend.
There’s also a soviet doctor that has a pain in his body (for those for dont know soviet is a country “USSR” dont doesnt exist anymore and this doctor have to do surgery on himself , Yes because he is the only doctor in the camp so after sometime and much pain he did the impossible
What I don’t understand is why are they worried that he dies because in the older movies he gets shot in the head and dies and comes back so obviously he’s gonna come back when he dies in this movie too
I was thinking while watching this, that although he does feel the pain, he must get used to it. Like when you play a guitar and build calluses so the strings dont hurt your fingers anymore, like when you run the same happens with your feet, or like how nerves can become less sensitive in areas constantly used etc. But then i realized, he heals. Completely. Lol it probably constantly every single time hurts just as bad. Maybe he gets mentally tougher to it? Idk but yeah it probably sucks to be wolverine in a way

Doing a surgery on yourself is just insane. This movie was ahead of its time imo, it holds up so well even today.
I disagree. The movie is great but that ending is still awful.
Yeah but Leon did it long ago in RE4.
