The trailer on the VHS for 'The Lion King' was always my favorite. Live-action Disney in the 90s had SO MUCH heart! "You can't go through life thinking everyone you meet is gonna one day let you down." "You've got an angel with you right now." I love when Mel finally got to pitch again after his injury sidelined him so the team had to learn to play without him, he not only won them the pennant, but it was his last game because he was going to die. "I'm just here to check on Mel. He'll be coming up soon." According to Al, the angels were apparently ALWAYS helping teams--that it was a RULE that championships had to be won on their own--but Roger could see them because he ASKED for their help. Pretty nice of them to help without being asked so they could make OTHER things happen, like Roger and George bonding to become a family and for Mel and the team to believe in themselves and each other...
As a 90’s kid, I feel that Disney films during that time were at its best. Everything animated and non-animated were such an important part of my childhood.
I remember as a little kid me and my big brother would watch angels in the outfield all the time on vhs which is ironic because unlike me my brother hated baseball. Damn this is making me nostalgic thinking of the good ol days of my childhood memories.
Yes, I was 7 when this came out. I talked about it all the time with my friends as a kid. We always laughed at the scene when Danny Glover was throwing a fit in the locker room and tells the team that they don’t even lose as a team

I really liked The Big Green as a kid, havent watched it since tho
I was 18 when this came out and I still enjoyed it, it had a lot of heart Joseph Gordon-Levitt would go on to be one of my favorite actors after seeing him in 50/50
I was 7 when it came out in 94 and it was a good movie for it’s time. I loved it and always liked the scene when George Knox was throwing a fit in the locker room
I can't say I have ever felt any desire to see this movie. But to each their own.
What an odd comment.
@@The_RC_Guru Why is it odd?

Loved loved this movie as a kid. I was 5 when it came out. And I would keep it in the VHS player and have it running all day lol. That , and Aladdin. Good times
Both the OG and this movie are classic, feel good, Baseball movies! Both sequels were direct to home video. As for the critics not liking it, when I hear that, it warrants a watch! If they love a movie, that is usually a movie to avoid!
Good Day Minty,
Thank you for another great video. I remember watching Angels in the outfield as a kid. I was about 12. When it was released. I liked it. I still do. It felt more magical to me. When I was kid. When you see things the way a kid does. It does look different. I'm of a football kind of person. Christopher Lloyd was great as Al the head angel. He was funny. I did see Angels in the inzone. That was good a good. Maybe? They will make Angeles in the Outback.
The Big Green!! I loved all these films
Angels in the End-zone was a straight to ABC movie that Michael Eisner would host. I remember watching with the whole family when it came out. We didn't hate it but we definitely didn't seek it out afterwards. I don't remember Angels in the Infield.
Don't feel bad, Minty. Part of my motivation for watching this video is to see if this is the one with Daniel Stern.
I watch this movie at least once a year. One of my favorites
Loved this movie. It was one of my many favorites as a kid, so watch it Minty
I saw it in theaters and had it on vhs. I love this movie
thanks mark for all the work you put in to making these videos, cheers
I remember watching this on vhs when i was a kid and i got a good laugh out of it i also remember seeing angles in the end zone which was ok angels in the infield never knew it existed til you mentioned it i prefer the angels helping like in angels in the outfield and angels in the end zone the footage of angels in the infield makes the angels look like they can possess people im surprised they havent decided to remake it again
I loved these types of movies growing up...
I absolutely loved this movie as a kid. I was a huge baseball fan as a child, and this movie just spoke to me as an 8 year old.
:) Love this movie!!
The big green was also awesome!
This was a great film to watch as a kid and certainly one of my favorite baseball films along with Major League.
