you are super similar to your mom in that way. you have that youthful spirit that she has and it draws me to you so much because you seem like the best person ever ily
Microneedling and chemical peels are the only thing that god rid of my scarring from hormonal acne. With monthly facials. It’s all essentially gone now after that schedule for 6 months :)
Currently holistic/former medical esthetician here. 🙋♀️ Those red spots you see (as long as there’s no pitting/texture involved) are PIE-post-inflammatory erythema. Because PIE is caused from inflammation specifically, treating the inflammation in a facial would be ideal. Good, easy treatments for inflammation include cold therapy and LED light therapy. Unfortunately though, a lot of PIE clearing up is a waiting game. Technically laser treatments and microneedling can help, but I’m not sure your condition is severe enough that I’d recommend those currently (I’d have to see the skin close up). Some at-home skincare ingredients that would be helpful include azelaic acid, licorice root, vitamin C, and niacinamide. Weekly exfoliation (preferably enzymatic or chemical) once a week can also help as the new skin cells turn over to heal.
Estie friend here! A lot of what has been said is perfect. Laser, Chem peels, microneedling depending on the type of scarring or pigmentation. If it’s a flat patch scar probably Chem peels, and even just time fades it with help of a pigment inhibitor products (I love even tone from Skin Better or Alluminate from Alastin)! If it’s an indented scar microneedling and lasers are best to fill that scar.
Oh if you happen to get the answer to the correct facial for lightening scars from past imperfections, please share! My problem is i'll use makeup to cover the scar and sometimes i'll breakout again in the same spot from covering the scar. lol it's a viscous little cycle
The Irvine live show was amazing! So funny to see myself in one of your vlogs. Haha! After years of following along here on YT, the back of my head made an appearance. Lol. But seriously though, you guys were amazing, these live shows are an incredible showcase of both you talent, fun personalities, and hard work! 💙💖
Ahh Jaci!! I am so inspired by this! I am so obsessed with your content and it’s always so amazing! I’m also starting my small business and sweets and I’m so excited! I can’t wait!! 😆Ilysm and I hope you have the best week ever
I live for your home decor, you said a couple vids ago you’re changing a few things, are you still going to change your living room vibe? So excited to see what you’re doing next 😍
Licensed esthetician here!! Chemical peels, microneedling, and lasers are what you need for acne scars!! If they’re texture scars, microneedling or a fractional/ablative laser. If they’re more red marks, peels or a YAG laser is the best. Also using a pigment inhibitor and an AHA of some sort that works with your skin to help with the appearance of scars in between treatments
I got a microneedling facial before my wedding and it took a couple of days for my face to not look crazy lol but ended up lightening my acne scars so much!
Laser is best for deep acne scarring! If you’re still experiencing acne itself, chemical peel! My med spa prefers the brand Fave Reality! Amazing brand for acne/ textured skin!
I’m an esthetician and I definitely would say microneedling and chemical peels! Otherwise the even tone correcting serum from Skinbetter Science is amazing and works great for at home!
I’ve heard that keeping the skin moisturized and restoring the skin barrier is the best way to reduce scarring, so your skin is able to heal itself. Or microneedling? To help with rehealing the scars. But that’s kinda scary lol
If you put some sugar on sliced/ chopped strawberries & let it sit for a min then blend it with your oat milk it will taste more sweet and the strawberry flavor will be a lot stronger. I need to make it now! 😂
chemical peels have changed my life. I have so much scarring and post-inflammatory pigmentation (PIH) from years of acne. I recently did a peel (it did have about 7 days of down time and active peeling) but I’m telling you my skin completely changed. I have also done microneedling (collagen induction therapy) to help with texture/picking pockets. I work at a medical spa in Denver and Dallas!!! I would love to recommend anyone who is interested
If you want to do a more intense but really effective one, I would do HALO - i had realllly positive results with it! after 2 miscarriages i had so much hormonal acne and this realllllllly helped! But it is an investment. Something less involved, a skin pen / micro needle but i would do a series of 3! I am about to start ivf and trying to decide which of the 2 to squeeze in just because why not and it will be a minute before can do it! 🧡
My esthetician recommended a microdermabrasion facial for me! And I get collagen facials that have helped so much. Also recommend the environ vitamin A, C, E oil! Helps with scaring 🤍
you are super similar to your mom in that way. you have that youthful spirit that she has and it draws me to you so much because you seem like the best person ever ily

I feel like what Jaci was describing was hyperpigmentation rather than scarring but could be wrong since we didn’t actually see it

I ran into Katelyn at the WWS Irvine show!
Laser is best for deep acne scarring! If you’re still experiencing acne itself, chemical peel! My med spa prefers the brand Fave Reality! Amazing brand for acne/ textured skin!
Jaci you’re my fav! Love the hair & make up 🎉❤
For matcha your really need 2-3tsp or if you’re using Pique, you need two packs for a normal glass like yours in order to get a good matcha flavor
the way you went from trolls to better help 😂
HAHAHAHA
Ahh I went to the San Francisco show 💗loved it so much!
You're looking especially Lindsay in this vlog 😊
Medical esthetician here 🙋🏼♀️ micro needling and chemical peels are going to be your bff 🫶🏼 plus make sure you’re wearing SPF everyday
What's your favorite matcha powder?
I’m an esthetician and I definitely would say microneedling and chemical peels! Otherwise the even tone correcting serum from Skinbetter Science is amazing and works great for at home!

Facials won’t do anything, but chemical peels will help resurface those dark spots really fast and fraxel laser helped my acne scars
love so much
