    Good review, and good load out. You sold me on this bag. Was glad to see you thinking about signaling, and like how practical your firearm kit is. Things I’d insist you include are vacuum sealed spare boot socks, spare laces, and a sewing kit. Some things you might wanna consider throwing in are a general use waterproof tarp, a few old fashioned traffic flares, and slap a couple good IFAKs to the molle where you can get to them fast. Winter is rough. Good stuff, Peace out!

    Turns out I knew the company already for their hydration bladders from Amazon. This pack makes a huge impression on me and I'll definitely try to get it here in Germany. It looks really well adjustable almost everywhere and most of all comfortable and durable. That way I probably won't even need a >40L Pack. My new Bushcraft bag.
    Thanks for the tip!

    I love Source Tactical products and have been considering their Tactical 3 Day Patrol Pack for my get home bag. Your review just made that a lock - thanks. I am very interested in who makes your fire/navigation pouch. It looks like it is perfect for your application and I would like to replicate it. Thanks for doing such a nice job on your reviews!

    Sweet Pocket Shot buddy, Im curious how that Latex holds up in the sub-freezing Temps you get up there. Im in Georgia, so we don't get below freezing much except at night time.

    Hi. Thanks for this excellent review. Does the source patrol back bag in the video have any antenna or cable ports? I have the older model and it has antenna port on top and cable ports on each side. I guess it isn't that important feature to most consumers though.

    • @livingsurvival
      @livingsurvival  9 лет назад +1

      Valdemar Latva-Röyskö it has output for the bladder hose and could probably run a antenna through it.

    Thanks for the valuable info, you got a new subscriber. By the way, did you manage to put your hands on any Savotta backpacks? i've heard they are the pinnacle of survival/military bags. They're made in Finland. I was wondering whats your oppinion on their products.

    Great BOB and review. I know you have your Amazon store, but do you sell anything on ebay? It is easier for us Aussies to get things shipped from there.
    I'd be keen on a Living Survival morale patch.

    Which magazine pouch are you rocking for that spare mag? Also I did not actually see the pouch of the bag where the bladder goes. Lastly does this have any form of frame ie aluminum stays or a plastic one?

    • @livingsurvival
      @livingsurvival  10 лет назад

      comatose onetwo Snake Eater pouch. Yeah, I goofed up and didn't show the place where the bladder was. On the back as most are. I have a pack coming up maybe today that has the bladder in the front, fairly unique! The frame is plastic I think, Ill check today. Thanks for the comment.

    I am considering this pack, as well as the Teton Sports, Talus 2700. Could you provide feedback as to which pack might be better, other than the fact that this pack is 35L vs 44L for the Teton pack?

    • @livingsurvival
      @livingsurvival  8 лет назад

      two different applications. if you are camping or backpacking maybe the teton. otherwise for a kit bag this one.
