- The Sella Carnizza is a pass in the far east of Italy, close to the Slovenian border. The area gave a deserted feeling, with the road in poor condition and broken trees everywhere from a landslide. However the area is full of great nature, mountains, and roads, so well worth the visit!

That border area between Italy an Slovenia is full of great drives. Was last week on SS13 and saw many interesting routes going from it to the mountains. You have a great eye in discovering such routes, thanks for sharing them here, greetings from a fellow roadtripper and creator from Germany!
I believe the damage to the trees is more likely due to winter avalanches rather than landslides. You have covered spectacular country on your many drives and rides. Thank so very much!

I hope all is well in your world. Perhaps the winter weather prevents more rides/car trips through such epic passes in Europe. I went to Finland last summer and used three GoPros: One inside looking straight out in wide angle mode, and two with suction cups up on the roof looking out to the left and right at 45-degree angles in linear mode. I hope to put the videos together showing the views out to the left and the right as well as straight ahead. I am using the CyberLink Power Director 365 video editing software. Again, hope all is well and am looking forward to future videos.

Really nice driving tour and great nature.
I discovered this road many years ago by accident, at this time the first part up to the little village was in really bad shape and the rest was very narrow and unpaved. I drove a large SUV at that time and I remember a quite hairy situation when I met a large tractor in the narrow part. I should really drive it again this summer!

Wonderful Road.... And NO traffic.... That has to be rare.... :-))
In that area this is the normal amount of traffic. It's just not an important road and only used by locals.
