Hi Justin, I've also used it to summarize extensive research reports, OM's, contracts (tread lightly), summarize emails, and help me learn new software/code/excel. Very interested to hear how others are using it in the industry.
I'm sure there are companies out there that are trying to come up with some variation of a tool that can automate this process using AI - right now, it may be just as simple as ChatGPT helping with wording emails, letters, and/or phone scripts when contacting sellers to increase your response rates.
Using AI in a research such as market overview descriptions, finding new house/commercial developments in an area. Would also be curious in what ways automations can be used in excel models. I.e. scrubbing PDF reports and taking that data into Excel. Tried using Power Automate but just not quite there yet.
Well incase you need it contact Lewis James Godfrey,I think he's the one for the job, just browse his full name and you'd see his site, then you contact him from there

Nope - I think AI will help supercharge real estate analysts to get a lot more done in a lot less time, and will allow them to contribute to their company in a much more meaningful way (greatly reducing or eliminating many low-value, tedious, data-entry-type tasks). The more you embrace the change as a tool that can help you, the more beneficial this will be to your career growth. Good question!
I tried to replicate the functionality of generating a list of 5 apartment buildings as you did in the video, I’ve tried about 10 different ways of phrasing it but each time ChatGPT says it’s an ai and doesn’t have access to real time data and refers me to other sources - how’d you do it?
So basically I replace the tedious work of writing up this analysis with the tedious work researching if ChatGPY lied about its analysis and then go find the actual data?? 😂😂😂
Ha! It can't replace all work just yet, but removing the headache of finding the right initial wording to "sell" a market and/or asset can be a huge time saver.
How are you using AI in your workflow right now? How do you see it changing the industry?

Great feedback, Cole! Thanks!
I tried using it to help me write code in Excel but you need a bag of lock until it gives it to you. Excel formula boat works much better for that.
the importance of the prompt is key to develop all of these applications among others. This is just the surface from the potential of chatgpt.
Agreed completely - the prompt is key. Thanks for adding this, Juan!

Hi Justin yes, AI is all the rage, I really like it and would like to know how to use it in the real estate industry!
Is there a way to use AI to find off market deals? And add deals to our pipeline

Justin, I’m your student working in the industry as an analyst. Do you think Real Estate analyst will be replaced?

You use ChatGPT to create this content?
Yes, Justin is actually just an AI avatar. I have long suspected this.
