(And the death of Mikio) But with the recent addition of Momometal and some amazing collabs and live shows they've proven to the world that they will continue to dominate the metal genre and beyond. They are true living legends of our era.
It took me a while to like them. until a certain song that hit me. I am glad that's what they did for the whole world to like them. In my Case I like some of their songs and there are some songs aren't good for my taste or having difficulty appreciating the song. and to others that they love the song that I don't like. I am glad that they are aware of this, which they say that they will explore and create more songs that are positive and motivating.
Same, didn't like them for a LONG time, then randomly, heard kingslayer while I was playing chilvary 2 and was super stoned, and got into babymetal right there.
Moa is very sharp sense and proofed that her brain is smart because she said that she was interested in FDTD. How Kitsune feel it. Actually FDTD was performed at Hollywood Palladium in 2017 only at one time .
Translating was edited out, only questions and answers were left in published version. It is even possible they made multiple takes for some asnwers as it was their early english days...
Idk seemed pretty genuine to me. Tbh he was one of the few interviewers to not treat them like a gimmick back then. Pretty cool guy. Their lack of English and probable jet lag or concert exhaustion probably made it awkward. They get worked pretty hard. Plus they were extremely rehearsed protocol back then so as not to look anything but elegant and intelligent in interviews even when the languages were often different

i think idols can't have a social media just imagine a lots and lots of people overloading your mensagebox and even if they have one probably is using a different nickname so anyone would find then...

They typically do have a translator, but if you watch some of their interviews, it seems they all mention Metallica frequently to certain questions regarding their music taste. I think this is because their manager knows their fanbase are metalheads who enjoy Metallica, so to keep them going especially in the beginning, they preached about Metallica. There’s no way in hell that these former Jpop idols actually like Metallica THAT much.
They didn't know what metal music is when BABYMETAL started, so the mastermind KOBA showed them lots of his favourites bands, prominently Metallica. They were "behind the scenes" at Metallica concert in Japan, they were personally introduced to Metallica, and members of Metallica danced with them to "Gimme Chocolate" choreo during the break. So it is the very first thing they answer when asked about metal idols. This interview had translator but it was edited out.

It is probably a big surprise to you, but in life as well as in music, there is more than black and white. Babymetal invented a new form of metal, in which jpop is merged. Like viking metal, symphonic metal, folk metal. The spades you talk about are simplistic Ideas for a feeble mind to make sense of the world. But you can still grow up and see the wonderful diversity of things, if you want.
