I tried cwtype but had a horrible delay between the key and the sound. The serial to usb connector was plugged directly to the PC. Yours seem to be extremely fast. Any tricks?
Hi Andreas, yes delay may be bad issue, there is some here but acceptable, I think it depends on PC performance. You may put in parallel with your cw keyer a local sound oscilator...
@@cqpy2rn the PC is quite strong, so I suspect some other issues. I might go for a K4NG keyer with an Arduino board and feed the sound into the microphone. Not ideal. But for a few QSOs it should work…
