I have the exact same color Le Cube with the exact same problem. I will try your method tomorrow and clean the capsule area pressure plate with soap & water. Then descale the machine. YOU are to be commended & thanked for producing this excellent problem solving video. Like other people, I was looking to buy another (newer) machine. But thanks to you I now have hope to continue using the Le Cube. It’s a beautiful machine. Best to you👍👍

Thank you! My 15 year old LeCube is now functioning normally again. Hopefully it will last another 15 years. Apparently the new models donot last very long so we all need to keep ours as long as possible. Thanks again.

Still leaking too, I unmounted again, and with my finger I tried to clean the gaskets on both side where the capsule is supposed to be, with some soap. In fact I realized that it was not necessary to unmount to do that. I didn't removed a lot of things, but aparentlty enough, because it doesn't leak anymore ! After 3 water tanks, still no leak, I hope this will continue, and I hope this will help you. Let me know, and sorry for my bad english

Didier coucou Moi c’est pareil, aucun résidu à part les traces du café qui passe mais aucun résidu solide. J’ai toujours utilisé de l’eau de source très peu minéralisée dedans, est ce aussi votre cas ou avez vous une eau non calcaire chez vous ? Parce que j’aimerais bien comprendre d’où viennent les énormes blocs solides qu’on voit dans cette vidéo...
No, I did more than that. I asked for the descaling kit from Nespresso and even after the complete cleaning process, the machine stills has this issue.

Seriously, that's nasty. Simply running water through the machine with no capsule will keep the machine clean.
