Thanks for the great hints. Trim is a tough one for me, with my lower torso more downward. Will practice these tips.

You are brilliant at these videos. I learn a lot from just your really helpful talking advice. I am still a beginner, wishing to do a better controlled back to surface, training is in a pool, not till January sometime now. Thanks!

Great points and I’ve never heard of or been advised on the need for a variety of fins as an aid to perfecting trim

After 70 dives I think am a ok diver. But trim, I see the videos my wife shoots I I aways think my trim could be better and am always trying to improve. Is there ever perfection.

I just tried a pair of positive RK3's last weekend and it pushed my trim head down compared to my tusa fins I normally wear and had good trim with. It was amazing how much it pushed me head down lifting my legs up.

Another great video James! I am always changing my gear and thermals and if I don't take the time to jump in the water to fine tune my set-up before going out on a dive, it always bites me in the backside. Using a camera is 100% the best! 👍👍

My husband is a pretty fit guy, but seems to get an intense lower back pain every time he dives. He only does 4-6 dives a year while on vacation. Is this something that can be addressed with trim? Or any other suggestions? I am not as fit as he is, but do not have this issue. Thanks.

same problem but i noticed that when i wear the right weights the back pain disappears..so he may be overweight

Make sure you put the weights on the sides not on his back
