I had a17TL in the same colour and also a 17 Gordini, also a few 15's which were based on the same body shell with slight cosmetic differences and smaller engines.
My Dad had one in metallic blue. Loved that car but he didn't keep it long. I always thought the Renault Fuego which came latter resembled it in shape.
My mum had one in gold, and the reg was TPX 710T. She sold it to a friend and it was written off shortly after. I wish she kept it. It was rare in the 80s!

NO THEY [Renault] did NOT do a Turbo! That is something the 'owner' Did!
