It was just ok even with the flaws. Also, everyone in the podcast kinda sucked ass at critiquing it, W&W isn't above criticism, but ya'll had the weakest takes imaginable in regarding this, sorry. Also, the Wednesday Addams series is gonna blow under Burton's direction, probably would've gotten Sonnenfield back, or got Sam Raimi (a better horror attuned director than Tim "Black people don't fit my asthethic" Burton).
@@marshallw1902 It's kind of hard to really go super in depth on our criticism on the spot while making sure others are included. I'm sure if this was something more serious, we'd have stuff prepared.

LOL well this was a surprise to hear my name on the podcast :P But just to clarify, I had nothing to do with those IMDb mentions. Even I think it's crazy how every movie and show I mention either on my videos or my podcast has a section that has to say "I brought it up in this". It's also weird how it resulted in some of my personal friends, who are not actors, now have their own respective IMDb page because they showed up in a few videos.
Furries can have the nicest art esthetic’s and styles I’ve ever seen, it’s a shame most people dismiss them as cringe because of the very existence of furry porn. I mean, Lisa Hanawalt is clearly a furry, and she’s a terrific artist and writer! Why hasn’t she alone gotten furries more respect?
Thanks again for letting me and Zoe join! This was a fun discussion. (Apologize about my audio, by the way. I misinputted the audio settings, but I got it fixed after the break!)
How you guys answered my Ninjala question hurt me so much 😓 (Especially with the slight misinformation on the gameplay) Also people really gotta stop comparing Splatoon's gameplay with Ninjala's when they are nothing alike
lol if it make you feel any better, I did wanted to go more in depth on it but I didn't want to hog the discussion I would've liked the game more if it wasn't free to play. I feel some of the (imo) poor decisions they made were because of it using the f2p model, such as the monetization and content loadout.
@@FunkySpaceAlien I dont get exactly what you mean unfortunately. I do wish people stop comparing Ninjala to Splatoon when they aren't alike other than I guess aesthetic. I also wish maybe GungHo/the devs went with a more original artstyle so perhaps the comparison was never made and expectations were not made? It's lame to hear people call the game a glorified Rock Paper Scissors game when the players who continued to play have understood that the Parry/S-Burst should be used as a Gamble/Last Resort than the main form of Gameplay. It certainly felt like that at first, same from me when I played it day 1, since it was just Mash, Mash, Mash. Overtime myself and other players moved on to understand the games mechanics and understood to never do that and use our resources and Escape Feature. That also being said, I'll give new players a bone, because the game doesn't do a good job teaching the player until later seasons. I can go all day tbh, but I dont want to bore yall Misinformation really hurt the game in the long run (and the release of Splatoon 3)
@@GameFreak64101 I compare it to Splatoon because I think it's clear they're trying to reach the same audience. It's less "the game is like this game" and more having the same vibe, yknow? I don't think it's totally unfair. By my complaint of the free to play model, I just felt if it was a paid game instead, we would've gotten more content at the start. I fell off very quickly because there wasn't much to do for the first couple months of the game's lifespan, lol. The single player was also very barebones and not worth the price, which is disappointing to me. So there isn't much for me to sink my teeth into. This is less a Ninjala problem and just more of my general issues with free to play games. I'm sure the game is fun if you really understand the mechanics, but it wasn't for me. I felt like I had to do ton of homework to even get what's going on, lol. Sucks because I was really looking forward to it
Hey Pizza Party Podcast Thanks for mentioning me on the new episode and I got another question for the next podcast which is any thoughts on Tuca and Bertie getting cancelled again and Hazbin Hotel officially coming out next year and if you enter your e-mail address on the teaser website you'll get a printable version of the teaser poster!
QUESTION: Are there any genres (in video games, anime, film, etc) that you have ever found yourself generally unable/unlikely to enjoy, if so, do you have any individual stories from this genre that you enjoy in spite of this?
Wendall and wild was a fun movie overall, despite its many flaws, I would forgive the flaws if this movie was original but since it's based on a book, what happened
Honestly the only problem with the Ninjala anime, is that they only keep an episode of it up at a time, so if you didn't start watching it when it started, there's no way to watch it. It's pretty much the only reason I stopped keeping up with it in general.
I’m glad I decided to watch it before listening to this podcast. I clearly liked it more and I want Gotham Studios to succeed so he can make more, and I feel like this podcast holds a lot of power and people listening won’t watch it and give Selick’s studio it’s much needed revenue!
I have been watching the pod cast for years, almost a weekly viewer, getting my dumb comment on the pod just gave me whiplash from the amount of levels of separation removed, this is like the time I randomly met the sheref from squid billie's voice actor on the street.
Wendel and wild is nice to watch, but like the pacing was all over the place *spoilers* But when they were going raise the parents, I thought that would be the central conflict and them affecting the vote against the corporation. But then the conflict got kinda all over the place. Like we need to stop private prisons, but also this characters internal drama, but also Wendel and wilds theme park, but also these missing demon kids. It's just too much too juggle
Honestly I disagree with the repetition of her dead parents being a negative. I think it was done for a reason. That reason being that trauma just kinda works like that. It puts us in her shoes by causing us to experience something akin to what she's experiencing. (Constant re-remebering of her past) Also I really liked the movie overall tbh.
Why, what's wrong with him? What is it with this community hating every single person, regular or guest, that's on the podcast? I've even seen Pan get a bit of hate.
Awh I was looking forward to Wendall and Wild coming out, even back when we knew nothing of it other than the title and it's Selick's work. I haven't watched it yet, but I'm sad to hear it's not great.
You should watch it just so Selick’s new studio Gotham Studios, gets enough money so he and others can make more stop motion movies and shows. You don’t even have to watch it, just keep it on as you play on your Switch, Steam Deck, smart phone, old 3DS or laptop.
