    The difference between different dramas:
Chinese dramas: Two people are wrong for each other, but they have lots of chemistry. After going through many things, they finally get married and have a son (but the male lead was hoping for a daughter)
Korean dramas: Two people are wrong for each other, but they have lots of chemistry. After going through many things, they kiss passionately, then break up, then get back together
Japanese dramas: Two people are wrong for each other, but they have lots of chemistry. After going through many things, they are still not together because even though they have lots of chemistry, they are still wrong for each other.
Thai dramas: Two men are right for each other but at least one of them is straight. After going through many things, they realize they are in love, break up due to homophobia, and then get back together
Mexican dramas: Three people are wrong for each other but have lots of chemistry. Who will end up together? 7 seasons later, we find out.
USA dramas: Two people are wrong for each other, but they have lots of chemistry. Two seasons later they sleep together, but are still not a couple. Season four they get together. Season five they break up. Season six they get back together. Season 7 is terrible, they get married and possibly have a baby, but the show gets increasingly terrible until it is finally cancelled after Season 9.

In kdramas the process is slow because they want you to feel the emotions that characters are feeling and I think its really cool its like reading a novel. Once I read a English novel and I loved it so I watched the movie of that too. But it was different I didn't enjoy it like I enjoyed the book. Everything happened so fast.

Kdramas are definitely for people that love romance as the main plot. I find romance as a genre, very boring. So I can’t stand the ‘traditional’ type of Kdramas. However, there’s multiple Kdramas that have romance as a side plot at best and they’re excellent.

I never got into dramas here in the US because they usually focus on plot and feel shallow. So I stuck to reading where I could get a more satisfying story. Once Kdramas were added to netflix and I gave them a shot, I really appreciated the way they focused on the characters. It's a much more rewarding experience that way.

Suji always represents us common folk accurately. It's not that the western dramas aren't intentionally crude. Its just the storyline doesn't always conclude with the couple maintaining a relationship as the main plot so we as the audience are desensitized to them having relations. Also k dramas are hilarious for having 20 different angles of the same scene for emphasis. Having dramas be a good mixture of both cultures would be ideal. Byungeun had nothing to be nervous over he did his job well but how flustered he got was funny. Also Seungwoo imitating Suji accent is funny cause he says it with a thick accent too. Loved this video it was cute. 😂 I recommend they react to Euphoria it's an enlightening show to say the least please warn them though it is nothing like a k drama. 💜

I like Korean drama's approach towards showcasing romance ..it's not about being realistic because as a filmaker you have to capture romance and convey the fluttering feeling to the audience which you can't show when two bodies whom you cannot relate just banging each other out of nowhere ..you just don't feel the romance and love
That's why romantic novels like jane Eyre , pride and prejudice still work ..and even briderton second season was so famous
It's about building the tension and anticipation in romance

I think for k-drama they try to get as close as it could to relate to everyday situations/events like eating, working, shopping, relationship problem, building friendship etc.u could also say this for a lot of Asians,Middle East countries but for the west is how fast they can create dramatic moments between characters to ultimate have the desired ending but sometime won’t have that ending n mess it up bc they rushed the story too quickly.

I really love it when you bring Suji on the show! And her and Byungeun and Seungwoo are great together! I think she represents really nicely central/eastern European women. She has a lot of the behaviour and mannerism and opinions that are common where I am from, so it's great to have a foreigner that behaves normally and relatably :)

As a Kdrama addict I love Faith with Lee Min Ho, The Heirs, but also Crash Landing on you 😍
In a Kdrama the two leads usually met up during a traumatic event in the past but they can't remember each other. They kiss at episode 10 & then usually by episode 12 something split them appart (usually the past) & happy ending at episode 16 🤣🤣🤣 loved this video 😍😍😍

They just get to know each other in the first episode then they maybe already kiss and then..what should I watch for 20 episodes after that? They just spoil it waaay too soon. I ADORE to wait, it makes it 1000 times more exciting and also it makes the relationship feel deeper and their feelings more real.
