This video is neither for nor against the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. Many of you will see it and like the result, others will surely not. Many of you will think that we have left things out. Or that we've been too hard or too complimentary.
What we have tried to do with this video is to examine and analyze the main results of one of the most controversial administrations in the entire political history of the United States. What economic results has Trump achieved in the last four years? What have been his main successes and what has been his main failures? In this video, we give you the main details of Donald Trump's term in the Oval Office.

With that said, most other people will hate Trump in both the US and overseas. The US will hate him for emboldening racism and spewing verbal attacks towards many celebrity and political figures, shutting down the government for weeks to not build a wall that nobody paid for, silencing the press, promoting disinformation in the press and media, blatantly exposing citizens and his administration to covid, overthrowing democracy to suppress voters to slow down an election he knew he would lose, being the first president to not concede (still telling people he won an election he lost) and lying/being deceitful about economic growth.
Overseas people will hate him for killing off most relations with foreign countries, disregarding climate change, creating a very sore looking divide politically among Americans, kissing up to dictators, overthrowing democracy and pushing an authoritarian agenda in view of countries who know how dangerous that is, and basically making China stronger.

In a nut shell its a video of babbling. Every economic argument starts out with ontological questions. What is good? Is it good to lower immediate costs and trade with China to free us of opportunity costs to devote resource to make our own? When there were medical shortages with COVID , the risk re
Is it good to have full employment or is it better to raise the threshold of success by forcing failures? To assert anyone of these things is true at all times is babbling. Bankrupting half the population continuously may give rise to tyranny, and misery as we saw in Wiemar. The old saying that one may not take the mill stones in pledge is the idea of not destroying industrial capacity. Continuous negligible unemployment may not also be a good idea given their will be no coercive force to cause people to be more productive. Why work hard if you may just find jobs falling from the sky?
The problem it seems to me that is in 2008 the politically connected decided it was working class people that were the failures . If the market said so they would have often gone bankrupt , but they decided that the government should make them whole which by default shifted the economic blame to labor, not the large FIRE sector of the economy.

its far too simplistic to look at the budget deficit. If the government spends money then the contractors and state employees become de facto tax collectors. They take more stuff. If the government lowers taxes then likewise there will be a deficit but the buying power will be for private citizens. I mused that in 2008 that some people would have been agreeable to having a committee figure our what people should be buying as Obama was begging banks to make loans. Well, you could just give people the money and let them figure out what to do with the surplus. So "the deficit" is just printing money. It does not indicate who is getting that increased buying power.

Bill Clinton managed to get the US into a war in Serbia , which took some doing given it was pre 9/11. So I have no idea what you think he would have done for us. The goal was to destabilize North Africa and the Middle East. Clinton would have been pressed into that goal with the magic of 9/11 and the Patriot Act.
I will agree I would certainly prefer to have the conditions of Bill Clinton presidency back. 9/11 was cultural poison.

I dont really care about "how" the economy is better, when it's better, it's better, the less debt, the better.
The war in Kosovo is nothing compare to the shitshow that bush drag america through in Iraq.
The republican pretend to understand rich people, rich people don't give back to society anything. Reduce corporate tax doesn't mean more job and higher pay, it mean that the ceo are giving more money to us. Shareholders brain can think as far as 6 month into the fucking future at best, if they are choosing between 2 ceo, the one that fire 1000 worker and lobby to reduce the company's taxes by 0.2% win the job.
I don't like paying taxes, i am not paying taxes now but if it can please the liberal so they dont burn half of my business down then i don't care what they use the money for.
Welcome to dying capitalism, where people pretend to work because there are nothing to do. People complaint about government contractors know nothing about government contractor. Why do they so inefficient? Because they're meant to be like that. Because having union waged people pretending to work on something is good for the economy. They are sitting around, don't do their job, get paid by hours. So, they can go home, think about buying a Ford, renovate their kitchen, replacing the AC... Hopefully making more job in the process.
Giving people free money mean businesses loss trust in the currency and raising prices.

Obama's second term was till focused on recovery from the financial crisis and therefore much easier to see growth. Trump took over an economy that had been steadily growing for 8 years and continued it which is much more difficult to do because of the fluctuations of an economy. @@BeastinlosersHD The problem, and the reason only repealing the mandate passed, is that Trump and the Republicans tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act without having any kind of plan to replace it with. As imperfect as the ACA is, it is still better than what we had previously. Many millions more people are able to have affordable health coverage than were before. Three of my adult children have medical coverage now as a direct result of the ACA. My husband was able to leave his job for a higher paying job without me losing access to medical coverage for diabetic medications because of the ACA. The Republicans have had a decade to come up with something better. Trump has been promising to present his better and more affordable plan "in two weeks" for nearly four years. Trump's push to have businesses pull away from China, even though his and Ivanka's line of merch are made in china, has only resulted in new China + 1 models.
Companies now, are establishing secondary production sites in back up counties like Vietnam and Bangladesh.
So even if the pandemic hadn't of hit, there'd still be a deficit as little to nothing had changed as a result of his trade wars, and tax threats.

With reference to the reduction in the number of H1B visas given by corporates to skilled labour from countries like India, it has been a hidden blessing. I am from India and I have heard nightmares of how corporates treat imported labor, literally exploit, by holding them hostage. Maybe the US economy has benefited, but people have suffered for it, extremely talented people.

Trump: The Art of the Deal is a 1987 book credited to Donald J. Trump and journalist Tony Schwartz.
Schwartz called writing the book his "greatest regret in life, without question," and both he and the book's publisher, Howard Kaminsky, said that Trump had played no role in the actual writing of the book. Trump has personally given conflicting accounts on the question of authorship. Schwartz later suggested that the work be "recategorized as fiction".

There are quite a few things i disagree with. He for sure flopped on the economy, but his geopolitics have been stellar. Saying Trump initiated a quasi cold war with China is insane, China has been fighting the war against us and if we are unprepared its because the previous policies of appeasement. He has destroyed the veil that allowed China to subvert the West in any way they could without being noticed. Also the other main beef I have is the coronavirus response. Saying he did nothing is silly, he shut borders with China before anyone else in the world was doing anything and against fierce opposition labeling him as racist. He then allowed the states to tailor their responses based on their individual needs. That is exactly what the federal government should do, protect from outside threats and let the states handle what goes on inside. He authorized the defense production act, something unthinkable to most Republicans, but he did anyway. And the downplay thing just shows a lack of knowledge on crisis management. There was never and still isn't enough evidence to suggest this thing was ever worth starting a panic. We saw small scale panic as it were, I can't imagine what things would be like with Biden having been an alternative in that situation.
Trumps biggest success and the reason I would argue he was elected, was popular discontent with the corrupted political elite in their closed room lobbying meetings. He put a stranglehold on it and exposed it for what it is, including the media and big tech. Altogether as a conservative I would give him a B to B- on domestic issues and the economy, but an A on disrupting the establishment, global agenda, peace throughout the world, and finally coming to expose China as a major threat that Western countries still can't admit is a battle they have started a decade later than the Chinese.
If you take a hard look at the federal budgets its hard to say that Trumps policy is responsible for the deficit. Just look at who wrote what into the budget. Thats politics and economics for you though and one could of course always argue that a good administration could overcome its political opponents to pass its economic policy. Considering the outright fabrication of Russian collusion was promulgated, even to this day at the end of your video, shows just how little people want to look below the surface at what his biggest achievements were for those that voted for him. And of course his failures in key areas cost him the re-election.
It will ultimately be entertaining to see him after this Biden term and what affect he has if any. I know as well as most he isn't likely to simply go away, and I have no doubt the Biden administration and deep state will do everything they can to try and frame him again, they already got away with it once.

I think that the numbers you chose do not accurately give a picture of the Trump economy.
'In 2016, real median household income was $62,898, just $257 above its level in 1999. Over the next three years it grew almost $6,000, to $68,703.
That’s perhaps why, despite the pandemic, 56% of U.S. voters polled last month said their families were better off today than they were four years ago.'

I'm from Asia-Philippines, and we're directly hit with the reforms of previous administration (Obama). The West Philippine Sea, he left us considering that we're a US territory (historically speaking) and allowed the bullying to happen during his time. For the sake to have a good money from China. *and add to that, the rise of China originally started during Obama Administration. They allowed China to expand and put their hands to the countries who are struggling, (Africa, Asian countries like Shri Langka and others) to be in debt.
But Trump administration gave as a bit of bitter sweet approach for being vocal with action to protect our Sovereignty against China.
The cold War effects both countries (US and China), but I think China felt that they met someone, a president from White House that they cannot screw with.
At the end of the day, I hope Biden would be an instrument to protect the sovereignty of countries who rely to US's might and power to make it right. I hope they'll (Biden administration) choose to protect and serve justice rather than to have a sweet relationship with the bully.
