@@flymetothemoon6313 Thank you!
Your efforts to explain every detail is commendable!! I guess this is the only tutorial which explains the making and the lining soo well !!
Thanks a million! 🤗
I made the bag following your explanations. Everyone loves it. Thank you ❤
Pleased to hear it! 🥰🥰🥰
Oh my goodness!! I followed your pattern and I’m so happy with my new clutch!!!
Awesome! I am planning to make also winter version of this bag, using boucle yarn instead!
Thank you for explaining so precisely ❤
Thank you! I am sure bag turns out stunning

Thank you! I am very happy that my instructions helped you! This is really nice bag and you could also attach straps if you would like to!
well done. neat clean pretty. worth following. thank you sooooo much.
Thank you!
Brilliant tutorial! Well done!
Thank you! Happy that tutorial is helpful!
Great tutorial, easy-to-follow😊
Thank you!
Nice way to make the lining 👍
Thanks! I am not good at sewing, and this is manageable!
Amazing tutorial thank you very much! Can I ask a question.. if my clasp frame is 20 cm , that means my rectangle needs to be 26 cm length. What about how wide it needs to be?
Thank you very helpful❤
Glad it helped!
Very nice...!!
Thank you 😎
Thanks!
Thank you! 😇
Grazie.
Thank you very much!
Perfeito
Complimenti, bravissima.
Nuova iscritta, ciaooooo ❤❤

You made a wonderfully helpful tutorial and a lovely bag! Thanks! Do we have to be careful so it does not get wet?
Hi, Jeanne! Thank you for lovely feedback! Now about your question. Depends what yarn do you use. For this raffia I used little bit wet doesn't hurt. Also, there are soft viscose, polyester raffia yarn which you can wash actually. Tutorial is made so you can use any yarn you like!
@@kristinavirka Ohhh! Wonderful! Thank you.🕊

Hi
Thanks for your great tutorial. I wanted to know how many meters of thread is needed for this bag? Thanks
Hi! Pure crochet part of this bag weights 220gr. I used paper yarn, around 350meters (382yd). But this counts if you get simular paper yarn. If you use smaller or bugger metal frame, usage will be different.
Hi there! Very beautiful! May I ask you how many meters of raffia did you use? Thank you in advance
Hi! Pure crochet part of this bag weights 220gr. I used paper yarn, around 350meters (382yd). But this counts if you get similar paper yarn. If you use smaller or bigger metal frame, usage will be different.
@@kristinavirka thanks a lot! :)
Thank you very much, this is exactly what I was looking for. 😍🥰Your instruction looks very clear to me. I still hope I can follow it since I'm a crochet beginner. Just one questions: How much yarn do I need for the whole project? 🤔
Thank you! I used paper yarn, approx. 438yd / 400m
Approx. 8.8oz / 250g.
1 skein was enough for the size of metal frame I used.
Here is a link to a very similar yarn, just different brand. amzn.to/45Jj10d
You can use different yarn, just make sure there is about 400m.
@@kristinavirka Thanks a lot for your quick reply ❤ I'm looking forward to try this crochet project😍
Hi! Lovely bag! Definitely want to make it! How much rafia yarn do we need to make a bag this size
Hi! I used paper raffia, around 230gr. Here - amzn.to/4dULbc6
1 skein is enough for this size.
Thank you for the video!
Do i have to calculate the size of the clasp when it is open or closed?
Hi, your comment slipped oit of sight somehow! Calculate when clasp is closed. I believe you have sorted this out already 😊
Hello! Beautiful work!😍I wanted to ask, the shorter size of the initial rectangle as to be always 12 cm independently from the used frame?
Because I bought one frame (AliExpress) that is 20x 9,2 cm, I should do the shorter length of the rectangle 9,2 cm or 12?
No, doesn't have to be 12cm. Depends on frame's size. My shortest side was 12cm. In your case 9.2cm
Ok thank you🥰
Will it work if I worked with halfdouble stitches as my yarn is thinner than yours
@@hanamahmoudelashry6303 for halfdouble crochet i believe will be some adjustments for rectangle. Most likely need to turn into closed round. This i made in single crochet spiral rounds. If you want to follow exactly stitch by stitch and use hdc, i don't quarantee that it will work out as good. And the look will be different. How thin is your yarn? Maybe size up crochet hook? Or, crochet double amount of stitches. You have to get the size in inches or cm right. I explained the theory how to get rectangle desired size based in the gauge.
Where did you get the magnetic closure frame? I can’t seem to find a magnetic one!
Hi, Kate! It is not magnetic, I ordered online, but now I see them even in local shops. You could find on Amazon, for example.
Try Amazon, type: purse frame
@@kristinavirka ahhhh that explains it!! I found loads on Amazon but I thought yours was magnetic!! Thank you so much :) can’t wait to try to replicate this bag!!
How many raffia yarn do we need to make one?
I used about 200 grams of raffia. They come in different skeins as you know, some are 25grams each, then you need 4 balls. I had one big which had 220grams and I used almost all of it.
easy to follow video....what is the final dimensions please. thank you
If put on the table, around 35cm by 22cm
Hi there, so if i don't want to put pleats in this bag, then the base will be 22x12cm?
Yes, without pleats the bag's rectangle will be the same size as metal frame.
@@kristinavirka thank you so much ❤️ btw, i really love all your videos ❤️ and i will make this one for my mom 😆 wish me luck ✨
@@kristinavirka oh i forgot, 😆 Happy New Year ✨✨✨
@@renithaprawita Happy New year for you too!
@@renithaprawita thank you a lot for this kind if feedback! Keeps me going! More to come !
Hi. Could this bag be made with another type of yarn?
Of course! Not necesary raffia, paper. Could be any yarn suitable for accessories - cotton, polyester etc. Also could be winter version from boucle yarn. Just make sure you swatch the gauge and recalculate stitches!
@@kristinavirka Thank you. Not sure I'm too talented for recalculating stitches so raffia it is!
What brand and thickness of raffia used here?
It is Turkish brand raffia, when unfolded string is about 1.4 cm, which is around 0.55 inches. It is not very soft to hold the shape. I post the link of the exact raffia I used, so you can get a rough understanding

Hi..to make this bag, how many grams of thread did you use?
@@loftycrochetcreate Hi! Pure crochet part of this bag weights 220gr. I used paper yarn, around 350meters (382yd). But this counts if you get similar raffia/ paper yarn. Raffia will be lighter, but yardage about the sam. If you use smaller or bigger metal frame, usage will be different.
Ok, thank you

Where? I do not have the video in Spanish. Maybe you can find a similar video in Spanish. If you have any specific questions please ask me, I will be happy to assist you.
What is the size Of the metal frame ?
@@simmigulati9481 frame size is 22cm long and 8cm wide IN CLOSED state. Width 6 cm without closing mechanism itself. Rectangle is 28 cm by 12 cm, calculated for frame size 22 cm by 6 cm.
@@sarasorino6598
@@kristinavirka perfetto grazie cara❤️
Scusa signora.
