I grew up with the front engine Porsches: 924, 944, and the 928. Dad had 2, a blue S and a grey green S4. Yours is all it should be 35 years later! Great work and so cool to see folks appreciate these cars!!
Here4Porsche: Oops, my 928 was a ‘88. Living in Japan at the time, I had a custom exhaust by a small specialist company called Intermezzo. It sounded almost as raw and melodic as a pushrod American V8. Went on a few Porsche Club of Japan track events at Fuji Speedway and Sugo. The club president’s ‘89 Turbo couldn’t keep up at the fast Fuji nor the technical Sugo track. 928’s, when you’ve got the whole road to work with are so much more balanced, stable and predictable than rear engined 911’s. But my first love was an under powered ‘74 Carrera which I got used in ‘84. 914 1.7 in college days(1972-76,) to 944 turbo in ‘87; the S4 in ‘88 and a C4 in ‘90 (also supercharged.) 997 Carrera S was great too but air cooled ‘74 3.0 RS is what makes me drool (the RS 2.7 is so far out of my reach) but for comfortable spirited grand touring, the S4 was unbeatable. And the brakes… just wow! Never liked Turbo 911’s. Felt like dancing with an out-of-step partner. BTW, the C4 with 480 supercharged horses (new turbos were 408 then) was unbeatable in the rain (959 vibes.) I wanted to swap the front brakes for the S4 brakes (Mercedes) but never got around to it. At 71 today, I drive a reliable ho-hum Honda.
Just a word of advice when your doing a car vlog it's ok to put some music in the video but really would prefer to hear the car a start up and car sound notes...just saying
we keep seeing marketing stuff on this car but no engine shots or video of the car driving down the road. it appears to just be a static display model.
jacquemond 928 body kits have updated the design for 20 years and look better IMO. the update to the lighting is nice. would have liked to see the twin screw supercharger added for that price.
@@9WERKSTV In fairness I don't know your audience, man. If it skews younger then maybe this was the perfect music choice; I dunno. Car itself is fantastic (I watched the previous video). And I agree that Shorts is just a stupid gimmick RUclips is pushing so hard because they think it'll let them compete with TikTok. Very desperate.
@@9WERKSTV it's just the wrong song, you should've used the Goldeneye movie theme by Tina Turner(RIP) that would've been perfect with the LED eye headlights and gold'ish paint, Golden Eye! Mm
What no one is saying is this car is probably the most expensive vehicle to restore or restomod.. The V8 is typically German which means over engineered, and exceedingly complex and costly to restore.
"If you ask me the 928 is alright" - jeremy clarkson
928 with lights off: °-°
928 with lights on: 0-0
That is really well done! I would have integrated flush mounted headlights personally, but this looks like a modern version for sure.
Ditto
If im correct, the headlights pop up. I believe its the same car featured in top gear restomod.
Jeremy Clarkson approved
I wish they could bring these back
Ein wunderschönes Auto.
Der schönste 928 den ich bisher gesehen habe.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch...

The rear is INSANE
The 928 was always a favourite after the 911 for me
That's a beautiful colour ❤
Ive had 3.
Great cars
Nice. Just 1 quasi great & one meh car - a ‘95 3000GT SL (na) & a ‘94 CRX Si.
Peace from Northern NY
I've been infatuated since Wyatt drove the red one in the movie, Weird Science. Looking for a good example now. Wish me luck.
My ‘90 S4 with Albrex supercharger (450hp) would beat any 911 of the time.
It was just a bit big for spirited city driving.
@@jamestown4867 Bet it sounded beast though

great except for the headlights
The Tony Montana special😎
Not a fan of the headlights but other than that really well done
Agreed he should have done rectangle headlight
Yeah, it looks like derpy catfish eyes, too small. The 928 is supposed to look like a great white shark.
Everything was great except the headlights
Should've been ring led or change the original reflectors to projectors
Those headlights 🤔
Is this the same restomod featured in topgear.?
I mean just beautiful 😍 🤩 👌
"The chicken was still warm"❤️
Rear tires are way to narrow!!! 😳
That thing is awesome
What chassis is this built on? Or is it a real 928?
Our long form video gives you a comprehensive deep-dive into the build, specs, costs etc.
@@9WERKSTV cool. Thanks.
Very nice, everything was perfect but the headlights are a bit off though
Where can I get those rims?

but those lights pup up like sponge bob
Is it still got the v8
Very nice and fine transformation. I’m owner of 928.
Awesome job ! Congrates! 👍🤜🤛
Looks like an aston at the back
The chicken was still warm
And my dad was still alive.
Cleanest 928 ever seen
“The chicken was still warm”
German Mustang shooting brake, I mean both 928 and mustang are coupes, V8 and 5.0
Bulging eyes kinda odd otherwise great design.
please no bongo bongo music next to a classic Porsche, respect the brand
Respect the music, brother.

it’s like a fancy 2000s spaceship
Over 500k.. pretty steep
Thats how much this is wow too much smh
Wanna see the inside
928 GTS is far more beautiful in the original form and with a supercharger kit will likely run circles around this monstrosity.
I pray he gets a lot of orders for this.
😱

Headlights and front bumper graphics suck. Nice rear and sides tho
This is how you ruin an absolute masterpiece.
POURQUOI LES DESIGNERS FRANÇAIS SONT MAUVAIS ???
Nice car. Shame about the sh*t music choice. Next time just keep it silent, lmao
Still experimenting with Shorts so cheers for the feedback, IMO Shorts generally are a load of b*llocks anyway!

Got that looking like some cheap af 924.
Awful
Music is awful

l'originale, il primo modello è il piu bello, non quelle modificate e riviste...fari posteriori divisi e grosso spoiler circolare!!!
