Great video on the pro's and cons of dual motors, and great observations on battery usage with 1000w motors.
@@theridewithlance not scientific, just observations. Thanks for watching
I own an H6 St with just a rear motor and where I live with Rolling Hills at times I can get 6 to 7 miles an hour with pedaling on some of those hills. I added a direct drive front motor and now it zips up the hills at about 18 and 20 mph. It is very helpful. I'm at 260 lbs.
Driving through car lots can be very expensive
Great Video Jerry!
I own a dual motor bike that has actual "on the fly" switching of single to dual motor, it's as simple as if you're pedaling using pedal assist only the rear motor is used, if i want both motors, I have to twist the throttle.
I like the dual motor bikes for the hill climbing power. That's what matters most in my area.
@@WyomingRider It’s nice having the power when you need it💪🏼
@@Ebiketips1 Exactly! You can always turn the extra motor off when you don't need it.
Good review! Do the motors sync well with each other? How long does the battery last?
Motors seem good and the distance depends on so many things with a dual motor bike. Thanks for watching Glenn
You watch sounds like mine
I just sold a dual motor bike to a deer hunter. It will work well for him. As for me a dual motor is useless as tits on a boar hog because I’m in the flatlands. Good video
@@Rip1Outdoors I’d like to see that boar hog🤣
@@Ebiketips1 lol
I'd take the 1000 watt hub with more range allday. Thing is Wallke has done away with the h6 bikes and only have the dual now which I can't figure out why .
@@acerkrt They figure you can turn one or both motors. I just got the H9 and I’ll be doing a review on that. You are right no single motor option
Love that red brick road man i grew up on a red brick road don't see that too often! So Sorry you are in ohio though
@@BarrowedtimeBrian Thanks Brian. We have the best trails in Ohio
The very best trails... our Metro Parks are bar none!!!
Do you have any higher torque middrives bikes that you have tested on the hill?
No not yet but would love to
