    I would love to see your approach to hauling an elk head out....I am a big fan of horns down rather than up in the air above ones head. It seems for a large rack and having the horns up it leads to all kinds of balance issues for the pack and packer.

    Thanks for showing me that I’m not crazy. I always pack out with the big side up top. 👍👍 it’s way easier to balance and doesn’t feel like the pack is trying to pull me backwards.

    Slow and steady with packs. 4 trips is faster and safer than 2 a lot of times...
