- Today I visit Disneyland Paris for the very first time! Finally after years of dreaming the day finally came and boy oh boy was the experience amazing. It’s day one so let’s get started!

Disneyland Paris looks spectacular! This is the first footage I have ever seen of the park so I had no idea what to expect. I notice similarities to Disneyland CA, yet I also can spot the differences and its overall such a beautiful looking park. This video definitely puts this park on my bucket-list and I hope to visit it one day. Thank you for sharing!

Yeah this park was a lot of fun. There were so many cool spots in the park and exploring was really fun because you didn’t know what was around each corner.
Strangely, I think DLP photographs terribly. I don't know how many videos I watched, but I was never impressed. The hub in particular, always seemed removed from everything else and just didn't seem to gel. So, I was really surprised when I first went, and saw how stunning the park actually is. It's gorgeous, Adventureland in particular with the elevation changes and hidden areas.

The longer i live here in France the more i realise how spoilt we are with the spectacular beauty of this park. So much love and care went in it, and it finally starts to grow into the world attraction it ows to be in the eyes of the French. The deep restauration was absolutely needed, but now the park is back to it’s former glory. My husband sings the Scar song in the Lion King show and he runs to work like a happy kid every day, weekdays in springtime are heaven. A late night walk seeing it with perfect lighting is a full on dream like experience. So happy you got it both. ♥️
It’s such a pretty park and I can’t wait to go back one day soon. Looking forward to the parks future as well because I’m sure they have some good plans for it. 😁
Cool fact. When you go back down Main St towards the hotel you see balconies facing you on the second and third floors. These are the Castle Club rooms including the Cinderella Suite. Then when you go through the turnstiles, go back into the undercover ticket hall. Towards the left hand side there is an elevator door which gives Castle Club guests direct access to the CC reception and lounge. Such a wonderful experience and the closest rooms to any Disney park.
I really enjoyed seeing this. Both you and Michael had gigantic melon-slice smiles on your faces the entire time!
Phantom Manor is my absolute favorite version of the Haunted Mansion. I also like how they incorporated Phantom Manor and Big Thunder into one storyline...
I was there the year it opened, when it was still EuroDisney. I loved it, too. I was so impressed by the design. What I remember most:
1. The Dragon. 2. How well they handled the language thing. Ticket booths had little flag symbols showing the languages each cast member spoke. Same for the waiters and menus in sit down restaurants.Some attractions had headphones. You could dial a language. 3. The train station was right by the entrance to the park, closer than the parking lots. No one in Paris would drive there. 4. First time I had wine (and good wine) at a Disney park. 5. The whole Jules Vern theme in discovery land. 6. I liked that the exterior of Phantom Mansion long kind of derelict, like a haunted house should. 7. The hotel on top of the entrance.
This is by far my favorite Disney park, it's spectacularly themed and that castle is AMAZING! So glad you two get to experience it!
It was a lot of fun. So many beautiful spots in the park.
colors, design and execution for Paris 30th is far nicer than WDW's 50th misfire.

I love DLP watching this brings back so many memories I can just imagine myself there again. I love how much space they have and things are spread out more to include landscaping etc

I was lucky enough to visit the Paris Resort 15 years ago with my late wife. For me, it was the most beautiful of the three resorts (DLR, WDW) that I have been to.

I went there in September and absolutely loved it!! My favorite thing about it was that almost every roller coaster had a loop!!

I'm not sure if it was the lack of crowds because it was rainy but definitely had some Magic Kingdom vibes with how wide the walkways seemed, although at the end of the night when everyone was slowly walking out it did seem not as wide with the crowds.
One other thing that annoys me, is how absolutely cheap these parks cost compared to the US park prices.
As a European citizen, I can report that the park culture is different in my side of the world. Cheers
@@giannilombardi3038 No arguments from me on that, I mean heck you can feel a different vibe of people from Disneyland California and Disney World in Florida just because Florida tends to get more tourists from all over the country and world. But I was just commenting that it seems like there's a lot more room between attractions, stores, etc in Paris' Disneyland, which if you've been to the one in California everything seems so crammed together.

I went in 2019 and here are my thoughts.
1) They have thee best Big Thunder Mountain
2) Their Small World is my favorite one and I’ve been to all of them except Hong Kong. Hope you get to see it next time.
3) Probably the prettiest version of Disneyland’s castle themed parks.
4)The food was a little disappointing as well as the merch.

I agree with two of those because I didn’t get to experience small world or Thunder. But yeah probably the prettiest castle I have seen and yeah the food needs some improvement. It needs to be more diverse.

Phantom Manor was suuuuuuch a fun experience!! The Vincent Price Ghost Host and all of the little differences... Dry Gulch! So incredible to see something familiar, yet so different.

Thanks so much Dylan for taking me on such a magnificent tour of Disneyland Paris and boy was it worth it the park was so amazing looking plus it was such a treat to see how there rides compare to the ones back home here at Disneyland and the ones at Magic Kingdom and I’ve never been to Magic Kingdom but I’ve experienced the rides there through you the many times you’ve been there so I will say that I really enjoyed the fact that the rides at Disneyland Paris have there own flare to them anyways it truly was a pleasure hanging out with you and Michael in a land I’ve never been before thanks so much now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Dylan and Michael and I’ll see you in the next awesome Theme Park Obsession adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

I was really interested in your review of Disneyland Paris. I have been twice and I’m not the biggest fan. There’s alot of operational issues, and the upkeep of the park is lackluster in some areas. I will admit, the castle (with the dragon), Pirates and Phantom Manor are the real stars!
My favorite Disney park - haven't been to the Asian parks yet though. Love the use of nature, flowers, water and space - you can really get lost in the immersive atmosphere of the different lands and just explore - also love the hotels - especially wilderness lodge, Newport bay and Marvel - and some great restaurants! Hope you found the cool Mickey / Minnie in Paris shirts etc - some very cute stuff, you just have to look for it. Plus it always seems a whole lot less expensive that Disneyland or, esp WDW - feels more relaxed than either - like you're really on a vacation from the world. So glad you both had a wonderful time - it's also really great on return visits!

We stayed in an Airbnb in the heart of Paris. And then just took the metro to and from the parks when we went. We also were able to take the train to the airport too.
First day was pretty hectic but you ended up getting the hang of it in a few hours.
I'm watching your video now, and I LOVE that you had a great time there. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't the same when I went in 2018. Phantom Manor, Teacups AND Space Mountain were all closed. It was so disappointing for my family and I. We didn't feel the Disney magic at all. But I still enjoy videos about it.
Awe dang, I hope that on your next visit those attractions are open. Especially Phantom Manor, that ride is so much fun.

The park seems spacious in common areas unlike DL, not much crowding. Can't wait for Shanghai..

Disneyland Paris is a beautiful park. I have been there twice in my life; first on honeymoon and years later with my two kids. The castle is gorgeous; Phantom Manor and the Space Mountain inspired by Jules Verne stories are a trademark. But the thing my family and I really miss from Disneyland and Disneyworld parks are the Cast Members. They really make a difference in american parks. They go the extra mile to make a magical day for the guests, they should be more appreciated. In france they do not have the same interaction and service. For example, the line for buying food in a counter service location moved teally slow, you can not see many photopass photographers in the park, they are very strict with closing time, almost rushing guests out, etc

Yeah overall the experience was a lot of fun from top to bottom. The park, the atmosphere, the cast and crew, the rides and so much more. I can’t wait to go back.
A short trip by train to the Noeth, in the southern Netherlands, is Efteling. That is one of dreams to visit. People call it the Dutch Disneyland.
It’s on the bucket list, hopefully next time we are out that way we can do that park.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was closed? Ah man. It's always depressing when a Disney ride that you haven't experienced yet is closed on your very first visit. Another example would be how Space Mountain was closed on my very first and, so far, only visit to Disneyland in California in 2014. Poor shame.
Yeah I was bummed out for sure because I have heard that version of Big Thunder is amazing.

But I’ve been hesitant to go because I’ve heard very bad comments about locals being very mean to tourists not only at the park but at paris in general

They never should have added that Star Wars touch to Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris. That Jules Verne theme was perfect. To me it is a strange mix of two different worlds. A real shame.
