The song that has restored my health.
Same here.
One of my favourite hyms. It makes it more special knowing that the cellist is the mother of the new ordained Priest and who is celebrating his first Mass.
Oh wow
Eternal blessings be upon them.
If I was present in that Mass, I would probably cry during Holy Communion. This is my favourite Hymn, what a privilege it is to hear such a beautiful rendition!
So true. My favorite hymn as well. And such a beautiful rendition.
I got to accompany it a time or two for Benediction for the Eucharistic Crusade at a parish in New Zealand - all those children singing it with all their hearts made me cry! So sweet and lovely.
This also is my favorite hymns also I love when mother Angelica and the nuns from perpetual adoration from Irondale Alabama sing this song it's so beautiful!
Hearing "The Body of Christ" in the background😭 no words to describe the emotions and the honor of being a child of the Almighty King.
This hymn was nothing short of soul soothing. Mine was certainly blessed by it.
Fr. Frederick William Faber (1814-1863) an Anglican clergyman converted to the Roman Catholic Church as a priest in 1846 and established the order of priests known as Priests of the Congregation of St. Philip Neri in London in 1849. Father Faber wrote this beautiful and timeless hymn, "Jesus my Lord, my God, my All", beautifully and reverently performed here with a concluding descant.
Fr. Fredrick William Faber did a fantastic job writing this lovely hymn, another of his hymns that I favor is "Hail Bright Archangel, Prince of Heaven" that appeared in the St. Basil's Hymnal in the early 1900's.
All men must fall down on their knees and acknowledge the fact that GOD, in this case ,JESUS CHRIST IS the LORD of all.
So beautiful it brings me to tears. God bless the Catholic Church.
Is beautiful to hear the priest announcing "the Body of Christ" in the background
Only a catholic will understand what that means, to hear those words and receive the Eucharist ❤️
Stunning performance of such a deeply beautiful hymn. I love that this cellist, Lorraine Monaco Wallace is performing this here for her son, James's first Mass as a newly ordained Catholic priest (10 years ago now!). What an incredibly gift this experience is for them both, & for us... it has moved me to tears. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Hampton Va.
All time beautiful, it never fades!
I love this hymn, I feel Jesus amidst my family. Jesus I love you!!!
STILL one of the best renditions of this hymn I have ever heard. There's more power here than in a lot of the recordings.
True!
What an inspiring rendition! My soul is lifted listening to hymns. Bless the Lord oh my soul
Beautiful ❤I cried through all of it. Jesus - you are my all! ✝️
A real profession of jesus as our all. So soothing.❤
The fact that she syncs to the music is cool
oh make us love thee more and more
Sweet sacrament we Thee adore.
This must have meant so much to this woman-- its really beautiful-- well done all !!
yes, I think so.. beautiful!
Very informative! Thank you! God bless!
Some good came from the Reformation. This hymn was written by Father Faber, a 19th century priest of the Church of England - who converted to Catholicism.
it is refreshing. hevenlyy hymn.
This is one of my most favorite hymn. Sadly today's youngsters prefer Don Moen.
this hymn is so nice loved the organ playing
Oh dear Jesus
I love ❤️ u so much my God. Loving u so much my Lord and my GOD
Beautiful
It is all beautiful, but the cellist especially.
Cellist was talented but chronically late. Too loose of a meter at phrase endings.
The Body of Christ - Amen
If only every Catholic Church used such touching hymns. Out with the modern rubbish and back to the traditional music of the Church 🙏🏽
Hallelujah
Very nice
TIs' nice to know that there are still "Catholic" parishes left in America. There certainly aren't any in Robeson County, NC!
Absolutely refreshing
Y what happened
The most important moment taking the holy Communion many people don't take it cos they think they sinned for me I take it more even if I do wrong cos the body and blood of Jesus washes and cleans away my iniquities.
this hymn just melted my heart now..Please wats d tune name?
The hymn tune name is "SWEET SACRAMENT" from the Cologne Gesangbuch of 1852 and likely harmonized by Fr. J. Alfred Schehl. This old traditional Roman Catholic hymn text was written by Fr. Frederick William Faber (1814-1863) a convert from Anglicanism to Roman Catholicism in 1845, and founder of an order of Catholic priests in England known as the "Priests of St. Philip Neri". Among many hymns which he also wrote are "Faith of Our Fathers", "Jesus, Gentlest Savior", and "Jesus my Lord, my God, my all".
Please, if you have the video of the lyrics, written by H. Collins, pls notify me here. Wordings of the lyrics different, no sacrament etc. God bless you.🙏
I prefer the other tune that appears in the Crown of Jesus Hymnbook, 1864 which is the original source of this hymn.
Commovente. Il titolo di questo canto in italiano e’ “ Ci hai dato un cibo”.
What is the tune name?
Michael David it is Jesus My Lord My God My All, also known as Sweet Sacrament.
Can you pls send me a PDF file containing the music?
Michael David Unfortunately I don’t have access to the sheet music at this time. You could probably find this piece with a choral arrangement online. Then we just had the cello play the solo in the beginning and a harmonic line later.
My church is an ecumenical congregation. Each time we use this tune, undescribable yearning fills my heart and I could never control tears filling my eyes. Last Sunday, I was more convinced of Christ's presence in this hymn. The family man beside me was in tears. I could hear the sniffles come through the mics. The holy Spirit bathed us in a refreshing way. We just lost our Church Minister, a Venerable in the Anglican church. He was passionate about our second home coming. He was so full of good works in the vineyard, wining souls. I am singing this hymn now, beseechingly, for Grace, Mercy and His guidance to be a fruitful worker in Jehovah vineyard. Oh, that I will know the dept of His wonderful love for me, I humbly pray!
Wonderful, nostalgic. So nice not to hear a cantor soloing at the mic.
