I started listening to LC ´69. I was at the IOW ‘70 and he came on at 1.30 in the morning. My friends had to wake me up, he got everyone to light a match or lighter or whatever and there they were a bunch of hippies sat on the stage at 1.30 am singing these gentle surreal songs. And I thought there is hope. Then I met him three weeks later at the ICA and encountered that competitive ruthlessness test you have to have to “succeed” in show biz and I knew there was no hope.
They are brilliant singers and that's why Leonard Cohen chose them. They were more co singers. They were incredibly honoured to sing with the brilliant genius and legend LC and they knew it. And then why haven't they done anything since he brought in The Webb sisters to sing with him and since he so sadly passed away? So basically you don't know what you're talking about !! 🙄🙄😉🤓😂😎🐵🌼⚘️🌻🐶😊🇬🇧🇬🇧
