  • Rishi Persad and Steve Ryder are joined by racing analyst Donn McClean to review a barnstorming Cheltenham Festival 2024.
The panel begin with a look back at the big performances of the week from State Man in the Champion Hurdle, Lossiemouth in the Mares' Hurdle, Teahupoo in the Stayers' Hurdle, Captain Guinness in the Champion Chase (what happened to El Fabiolo?), Protektorat in the Ryanair Chase and, of course, Galopin Des Champs in the Gold Cup.
Throughout the show we'll also touch on horses to keep your firm ante-post eyes on with 2025 Cheltenham Festival ante-post tips as Donn, Steve and Rishi give three horses each to follow into the next season.

Can't believe oddschecker wants us to pay £10 a month! One of their tipsters is -58 points for the year! Taking the mick!

Because she was pulling to hard, if he had gone on she would have faded out the back.

I get she was pulling but that’s because they were going too slow, you are in a championship race give your horse a chance of winning this isn’t a learning experience. By going fowards you have a chance to win. By pulling her head and being out the back in a slowly run race on a stayer whilst still keen you have no chance. It was a poor, cowardly ride

Watch Lossiemouth not go for the champion hurdle and win the mares hurdle for the next couple of years. Mullins takes the easy option at Cheltenham consistently

It says Cheltenham review in the title. If you don't like Cheltenham or NH racing, don't watch it and don't comment on here hankering for the flat.
Won't catch flat dislikers commenting on the Ascot preview like this.
Let us have our few months and you can rub your legs in anticipation of overpriced 2&3yr old horses who you'll never see again.
