Translation for our non Serbian friends: Journalist: Nikola, LA Lakers were champions just 3 years ago and you now defeated them 10 times in a row. Do you have a way of absorb (process) these moments, when the (Nuggets) team is capable of winning even when the game starts completely wrong? Nikola: Yeah, I think we had a great strech of defeating them 10 times in a row, but each game is... today we were losing by 20 at one point, so the game could've ended up much worse for us. But somehow we always find a way, we trust each other and I think it shows on the court. Today, when he (Murray) scored that (last) shot, everybody (on the team) jumped happy, of course it's playoffs and everything, but we were all just happy for him for scoring. Journalist: So, you're trying to live in a moment? Nikola: Yeah, you have to, because tomorrow is a new day and we'll already forget all this, you have to enjoy the moment. To be honest, I'm a native Serbian and I didn't really get the whole point of the journalist question... 😅

You can tell he appears much more engaged, confident, and overall intelligent-presenting when speaking his own language! Not to say he sounds stupid speaking English of course lol. You can just tell he can take himself more seriously when speaking his native tongue.

I mean, it depends, but in most cases, it's not THAT much of a culture shock in the US, unless you're from a village or something. It's mostly due to the popularity of Hollywood movies and other types of American media. Not just in Serbia, but also in most of Europe
