Hey man. The heavier the Armor parts. the less power score it is. So if you want your ride to have Max HP VS lower PS enemies. then the Scavengers and Steppen wolfs are the way to go. And you have a part limit. So if you want the best HP possible. Then going Heveir/Bigger parts. Means more Hp over all. cause remember, You have PS, weight , and part limit to Manage while building a ride.
Literally was looking for this video yesterday, honestly so glad to have it! Could you maybe expanded on spaced armor some, maybe show us efficient but good looking ways to build using space armor techniques?
Something to consider with parts is they shape they need to fill, too. Example: to help protect wheels or hover thrusters, slopes such as from Scavengers or Dawn's Children are helpful to fill the space and usually can be closer to the wheel well itself.
Weight:Durability ratio is balanced by PS. This shouldnt be a problem in high tiers, but if you want to build something under 6K or 5K, if you add a lot of good weight:Durability ratio pieces you will end with a lot of PS, bracketing with people who has better weapons probably. Not trying to negate anything, but working my mind here.
Thanks for confirm what currently happens, I started to play one month ago and was talking my theory. You think the importance of PS in armor is progressively diminishing or only stop matter once you hit legendary weapons?
The wider the gap in power scores in a given match, the less relevant PS in armor becomes. After about 8K in Power Score, you start getting grouped with all players above that Power Score and thus, the difference between one person's 8K build and another person's 13K twin firebug + spark build strapped with Lunatics armor makes the Power Score cost of your armor completely irrelevant.
you have to balance part limit and mass, and you will get more vehicle structure. i have had about 2580 health for about 11.5k mass, i used about 4.7 tons for other parts, but if i use more parts that have more structure ratio to mass, i can pretty much get 250 more of vehicle structure, that will be helpfull to tank more, but still you get more ps for doing that. its actually better to have it like that in clan wars. try to not use grilles though, as you have literally 80 parts to place, and if you think about it, you have more ps then. you should use little grilles if you want to armor your vehicle.
I wish they had a way to bookmark, or tag certain pieces for beginners. I'm experienced enough to know the difference now... but a lot of new guys load on a lot of Lunatics parts that have "structure" or "durability" points, but add ZERO to vehicle durability. Also, there's more to it than simple durability/mass ratio. The best formula to use is: durability ÷ mass ÷ power score then, as a matter of preference, take the result of above and multiply by profile coverage (example, "brazier" is 2x4=8) to provide a coverage factor... or you can divide by that same number to provide a density factor All the armor in the world is useless, if it jacks your PS higher than your vehicle durability.
Why doesn't anyone take into account that you only can put up to 80 parts on a build and that's why high durability parts often have a worse durability to mass ratio, because their durability per part is better.
Really like your videos, but only understand little of it, maybe if you could, explain while you build, cuz when i build i allways get high ps and low durability, and what you printed in my head is build high durability to last longer, but how, pleas pleas pleas... as you fx said whti train plow i did not give build any durability and i dont understand why, where should parts go on before durability goes up with it
lunatic parts are primarily for fast spear builds maybe shotguns for those of u who want a list of parts for statistics go here docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Q8PT0yBdanHOCmr61SbmyNQE29PurjfsraU6-CTBGHY/edit#gid=1918657103 best parts by themselves are (eng) twin slope, van ramp, small strut (lunatic) ventalation box (nomads) avia strut, oblique slope, obilque narrow strut , oblique strut, truck slope. scavs+steppenwolfs have the best armour parts dawns are a mix imo between lunatics and scavs and firestarters are almost like improved lunatic parts. this is just a overview of the spreadsheet but this info is useless with out right weapons with the right cabin and equipment
i dont care about mass at all, as long as im decently under the limit. PS ratio much more relevant imho... making the video kind of ... not so relevant maybe?
Is the stupid spaced armour logic still a thing? I’m so sick of actual realistic builds being worse in combat than some crazy hover with Christmas trees on the outside
Sounded like you were channeling the spirit of Bob Ross for a minute there!!! "There's a happy little van door, just throw it on...."

^True story
Which is better, scavenger or Stephen wolfs
@Klown Killa, scavengers, they have train plows and small plows that will be useful for builds and stephenwolfs has some unique armor that looks cool
So my pure steppen wolf Tank builds arent bad as the video led me to believe
You're voice is so soothing idk why
You just made my day :)

Coming soon.

I love using those little tiny triangular truck slopes around wheels too.
Oh, you also mean fenders?
Thanks for the vid, definitely some useful tips in there. I learned a couple things!
Well made - might want to add to this that not only HP/KG is a thing, but also HP/PS and HP/part overall
Did I just get a Cat compliment. Woot! You're right about PS though. I think Sparklez made a new/better spreadsheet I need to link it.
I still call durability 'structure' too
How do you aquire a train plow? I cant find any info on where it comes from or how to aquire one.
You gotta level up. Just wait.
@@MrGPlays I figured it out thanks. Its a certain faction. Im in it now a little late. Oh well, grind on.

Anything over about 11k and PS no longer matters. It's go big or go home then. Then you think a lot about how to get your Mammoth build up to 4k hp.

nice vid g :P
The really good stuff inflates your power score so hard, at least the few I know of like gun mounts.
Aww man i know the grind have to record but feels like there are 2 mandrakes on your eyelets. Good video Never knew parts with holes had that effect.
Disagree, duability per powerscore is more important. At least with my exp with ps below 5000. Am i wrong?
You’re not wrong
well, this didn't really say what i was asking for. i was wanting to know how to get new armor parts. some update removed them from the market.
Can't wait to get a new comp and jump back in t crossout!
even though a truck dor is heavy it has over a 100 structure. So to me being slow and armored is better than fast and weak
Need to do an update on this

Are you playing on promo account?
I have a regular account as well, but lately I've been doing mostly promo.
First comment and first like. Love your vids Mr. g keep up the great work
Thanks man
this doesnt take into account ps tho. a lot of the buggy pieces are ridiculously high ps for what they are.
So everything is pretty good ?
When used in the correct way. Ya
Oh ok
your voice sounds familiar.. coldturkey49
Maybe you were in my class :)
why does this guy sound 20 and 50 at the same time?

Im level 63 and I dont have anything like really good (yellow or orange parts) and I dont have a "clan" its it worth it
how can you be lvl 63......
lmao lvl 63
63 ?. Are you drunk mate
Prestige 33 I am guessing correct? People commenting aren't using their brains.

To a degree yes
Mr. G To a degree? So does that mean that something has been done? Or nothing at all?
