Curious if they left the corn in a pile until spring when a custom sheller showed up? I worked for a guy who picked corn until 2000 when he sold the milk cows. After that he bought a new 6 row planter and a started using a combine for the corn. We had corn cribs for all of it. I still pick corn for my steers. I have a sheller if I have extra to sell or to shell for the sheep.
In one of the other videos they are hauling cattle to Omaha. My guess would be somewhere within a hundred mile radius of Omaha judging from the truck they were using.
That is the.same.setup my.dad had back in the 40,s. 50,s. .and 60,s the same lift for to raise the.wsgon. same type of.elevator. we had a.john deere.b and a John deere a and.later a.john deere 70 gas. My dad.passed away in 1963 and all the.goòd time s ended. 3:37

I was the age of that littlest boy in 1949. I would ride in the wagon while Dad was picking corn
Man, that wagon lift is neat. What powered it? People with a hand crank? Corn picking is the best.
