"Let the past die, kill it if you have to" couldn't have been any more fitting for Disney's SW. Never has it been so apparent in their venomous actions towards the fans and by extension, the franchise as a whole.
We've never experienced such butchering of a beloved franchise among so many by so few.
It's the saddest thing to see the Star Wars franchise ran into the ground because it has the most potential

There is no way I'd want Disney to touch Clone Wars. Hell, look what they did to Ahsoka, turned a fantastic character into meh..... Now if the clone troopers were all female, then Disney would be all in. No, let Disney go bankrupt and sell the franchise. Then in 10 or 20 years someone can start again.

I wish they'd make a live action series about Delta squad, make it a gritty realistic war series with more mature tone.

Back during the days of the Prequels, the Star Wars haters were like the Separatists from the Clone Wars, now the current haters of Star Wars (Us) are like the Rebel Alliance...
Disney making a Clone Wars live action would only further taint and ruin the franchise, they've already shown a willingness to go against source material, so it's a lose/lose for the fans no matter the outcome. The only solution is for Disney to give up the IP to another company who respects both the fanbase and the lore, but that's never going to happen in the next couple of decades.
This is probably a good thing if Dave Filoni was going to write it.

I need to get in touch with my source, as I have forgotten some of the details, but from what I recall, a live-action Clone Wars is coming. Production has not started yet. I THINK it's supposed to be a live action movie. Not a live action show.

I think it goes against their twisted ideology to put war in a TV show or a movie although in real life they'll cheer for it all day long and vote for it and throw money at it but in Star wars it's completely unacceptable all we can have in Star wars is LGB/ love scenes and that's it
I would love to have a live action Clone Wars with the right director and cast the problem is the original cast members are too old to play those roles at that time period Hayden Christensen was one of the best parts of Kenobi the rest of it was just horrible Disney did so much damage to Star Wars with Kenobi😢 Hayden Christensen looked so old in that lightsaber sparring match how would you get around the Aging problem? There's no way Disney would spend the insane amount of money it would cost to de-age everybody pause for extended periods of shows..

Including Clone Wars.. why... simply because the story has already been told all Live action content would do is over-write the cartoon and render it meaningless.
A live action clone wars can only work if they remake genndy tartakovskys clone wars in live action and the only changes made are ones that would allow it to fit the actual canon. If that’s the case, then I’ll accept it. Otherwise I’m not interested when we already have an amazing clone wars series on hand.
Canon is broken, that depends on what they would do, in my honest opinion I didn't like the inhibitor chips and other retcons, they shouldn't touch 2003 Clone Wars at all because I am sure they will ruin this

As a long time fan since seeing the original in 1978 ... I have abandonded Disney SW & will just stick to the Lucas films (+ Clone Wars was brilliant BTW). Disney need to abandon their woke arrogance, but until the purge KK and her cronies it will remain in the sewer eg: witness the vapid dross of "The Crapolyte" !

Why do people want a live action Clone Wars? Why can’t we just be content with watching the 2003 and 2008 shows? Also, 0:34 Disney Star Wars ironically shouldn’t count as woke, woke means to be aware of social inequalities. Just because these movies and shows have a diverse cast doesn’t mean they actually have these topics take place in the story. So Disney Star Wars isn’t woke, they just try to trick you into thinking they are. And they’ve succeeded in that department, unfortunately, people don’t know what the hell woke means because they can’t afford a few seconds to google the definition.
If they greenlight a live action clone wars, they should also greenlight an animated version of the prequels or at least RotS. #completetheclonewars

@@TheBritishBrothersOfficial yeah I get the whole “it’s just redoing what’s already done” argument. IMO they should prioritize the unfinished episodes, make a four hour animated RotS (that connects more with the Siege of Mandalore and serves as the series finale), and then they can focus on live action. Either way, the actors won’t be around forever so it’s up to us to tell Disney what we want. Ik it’s unlikely but if we can save the clone wars, who knows?
Why would they treat the prequel characters any better than the Original trilogy actors characters? They are also George Lucas characters. Disney Star Wars is about their worlds and characters. The ones that aren't in George's Star Wars but are in their theme park. Iger is the one who threw out George Lucas treatment and shelved Star Wars underworld in favor of Disney's fanficton.
