Hi dear, Adding salt to batter before fermentation can hinder the fermentation process by inhibiting the growth of beneficial bacteria responsible for creating the desired sourness, as salt can act as a preservative and slow down the fermentation activity; therefore, most recipes recommend adding salt after the batter has fermented to achieve the optimal flavor and texture. Secondly, By adding salt to the entire batter, you lose the chance to store it longer. Salted batter often turns too sour within a week while unsalted batter keeps good for 1 week in the fridge. Thank you🙏🏼❤️
Hi dear, I will update the details in description. Its 2 cup Idli Rice, 1/4 cup Urad daal. For this type of sanna we dont use coconut but you can refer this link ruclips.net/video/l8GGkURQkow/видео.html, thank you for your support❤️🙏🏼 Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas mam, l used to follow of your every recipe, will you please show me the egg boiled, without breaking, when l remove the shell, it doesn't come fully, please show me the correct way.
Hi dear, Merry Christmas to you and thank you for your support❤️ Simple way.. When the water is lukewarm add eggs.. First 2-3 min boil on medium flame.. Later 5-6 min on med to high heat.. Once done dont remove immediately from the hot water.. Wait for 4-5 min in the same vessel, then remove eggs and transfer to a other bowl with cold or tap water. Let it cool then slightly tap the shell which easier to remove the shell. This is I'm following.. 🙏🏼❤️

How can you add salt after the batter has already fermented
Pls comment
