I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.
I just bought one after cooking on a Pit Boss pellet grill for years. For your first brisket you did a heck of a job. End product looked moist and tender. I can't wait to get back to smoking wings, steaks, and a turkey for Thanksgiving.
I just brought one of those last week, im goin to try a beef brisket tomorrow, im use to using a webber kettle so gonna be a bit different using the zgrills smoker
If you're using a Weber kettle for smoking I can't recommend the slow n sear attachment by adrenaline barbecue company enough. I use it for all my cooks.
Esky on the shopping list for sure! Didn't realise until the evening that I didn't have a bit enough one. Need some lessons from Chloe next time I am up your way.
Pro tip. Cut that brisket across the grain and it will taste more tender. How do you like your pellet grill? I’ve been looking at purchasing that same pellet grill.
Joey Skinner thanks for the tip. I love it mate - but I run the Aussie distribution for Z grills so am a little biased! if you are keen hit me up on our website or Facebook and I will get your sorted with a good deal. ZGrills.com.au
Michael I live in the United States but I’m about to buy one. I’m doing my due diligence on my purchase because I’ve also considered Rec Tech, Camp Chef, Green Mountain but I’m going to purchase a Z Grill. I ran across your videos and really enjoyed them.
I have been using mine a lot and has been working well. Again I don't sell these, but use one and did the review so others can see. You can reach out to Inkbird directly on Amazon etc if you have more specific questions. Cheers!
@@michaelhumphreys7496 I live In the USA and really wanting a zgrill off Amazon. Looking at the ZPG-700D for 599.99 USD $ is that one good? Do you know or does anyone know? Thank you so much. I'm about to use my z grill for the first time but I'm having a bit of a problem. When on the smoke setting I get alotta smoke but when i set the temp up to 225 i get no smoke at all.....
Doesn't smoke continually, you get waves of smoker every 5 min or so as new pellets drop and they smoulder. Plenty of smoke throughout the cook to get great flavour and smoke ring.
It is not actually smoke but rather changing colour of the meat - so has nothing to do with "smoke flavour". Check this article out: www.texasmonthly.com/bbq/the-science-of-the-smoke-ring/

My son bought one and this is worth every dollar. Fantastic. 10 stars.
Glad to hear you are so happy with it Keith!
Fantastic video
You do smoke a little differently than we do in the States, but the lesson to that for me is that there are many good ways to get that great Smoke!
Just got the 450 for $12 in a raffle. Doing the burn in as I type this. Thanks for the vids man, keep them coming! You got a new sub in Florida🐗🐍🐊🦌
Cheers mate - stay cool!
Wow congrats
One at home...Love it!
You have a new Sub and I liked 👍 the video! Hi from 🇺🇸 hoping to buy the ZPG-700D today or tomorrow on Amazon 😀
Awesome! Thank you!

Have fun mate, be patient (probing like butter is the key) and let us know if any questions.
@@zgrillsaustralia4541 i did chicken today hopefully it turns out alright

I really want to make it, looks awesome
Looks awesome!
Great work. Yeah, definetly need a slightly larger esky 😂 or perhaps turn it on its side?
But it turn out awesome from the looks of it.

@@joeyskinner1321 did you ever buy one? This comment is 1 year old so I thought I would ask. I'm wanting to buy the 700d on Amazon today or tomorrow.
Hey mate amazing video. Brisket looked good, how many bags of pellets did you go through, many thanks
Thanks mate. Used about half a bag of pellets (5kg or 12lbs)
Well done mate
Thanks mate - was fun... and plenty of room for improvement... and wasp net.
@@zgrillsaustralia4541 those damn wasps always room for improvement keep up the good work
See it in the store today. Nice smoker, with this one I really missed a connection to use a temperature probe, too bad
Get yourself an Inkbird IBBQ-4T! They work great.
Are you still using the same method 2 years on, or have you changed it?
Pretty much the same mate. Smaller briskets (or halves) tend to cook a bit faster, so I always focus on probing like butter and not rushing it.
We like it alot
Can you fit racks of ribs from front to back on this model? Rather than side to side?
Depends on their length of course, but the grill rack depth is 488mm or 19"

How does it smoke when no smoke is seen?
Doesn't smoke continually, you get waves of smoker every 5 min or so as new pellets drop and they smoulder. Plenty of smoke throughout the cook to get great flavour and smoke ring.
What was the meat probes you used?
ruclips.net/video/xIUGl8v9mtc/видео.html
What temp did you smoke at
107oC for most of it then up to 121oC for the last few hours to get up to temp.
Loved hearing an Aussie describe food he's cooking! Sorry mate, your accent was better than your cooking for this American. Keep it up though!
Mate I just did a special reply video for you but can’t work out how to send to you (not going to post in here) Hit me up on Facebook ;)
