@@JackDray-iu2kd You’re right but at the end of the day results are all that matters. Saints need a manager who will grind out results as their squad is one of the poorest in the Premier League. I don’t understand why they didn’t get JWP back as he guarantees goals from free kicks, penalties and set plays.

Russell Martin is a great manager, some of the football last season was really top drawer, amazing at times. The trouble is we just don't have the five £40m players you now need in the first team to stay up. We simply can't compete financially with Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth let alone the rest of the league. We have a good squad of players but are £200m short even after pushing the boat out for Ramsdale. It is sad but it is what it is.
I think Russell is a good manager. Just give him a bit more time, and i think he will come good in the end, also i do think recruitment needs to be sorted
no alex, jason wilcox was the one that appointed RM and he’s now at man utd. get your facts right. it’s time for a managerial change right now, someone that isn’t solely about just keep possession, we need someone who likes playing that way but also being more direct and high pressing. i think our only real prem quality we have is ramsdale, kwp, sugawara, downes, fernandes and dibling. the money wasted in the summer on wood, edwards, diaz and archer could’ve gone towards a £30m prem quality forward that would make a difference right now.
