It occurs to me that good ol' Jyggls looks a lot like a Dwemer Centurion... A race of elves who, coincidentally were obsessed with logic and order. Perhaps, before being turned into Sheogorath or during one of his periodic shifts, he made contact with the Dwemer and told them the truth about creation. So rather than worshipping the Aedra they turned to the worship of logic and order, which would be entirely to his benefit as he'd gain worshippers in Nirn. I wonder if there's any evidence in the games. What's even cooler is that your Oblivion character is barely ever mentioned in the history books, when he is he's only mentioned as some mysterious being. But why? Because he was also the Gray Fox, erasing his name from all of history.
***** Wrong, every faction quests happened, it is canon. It just doesn't happened to be CoC who done them all. Or maybe CoC did all of them, from what Sheogorath likes to reference when we talked to him in Skyrim. Lucien Lachance, remember, talks about Bellamont and the incident of Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion. BUT it is ambiguous enough that it could be someone else who done all those quests.
***** ... that's not the point I was conveying. There is a maybe. There is no wrong for a person to do all the faction quest. Especially CoC. If you have noticed, Bethesda does put into thinking on your character, or it's just may be a BIG coincidence how such quests seems to play out the character they wished to shape. If you do all the faction quests, it would show off the theme behind your character. In this case, CoC shows their descent to madness. You do have an excuse for your character to be all of that. Heck, our character, CoC, is implied heavily to be the incarnation of Lorkhan... and Lorkhan and his ghosts has been notoriously known to have many titles. Be it mage, thief, murderor, fighter, hero. It's not so troublesome to grope the fact one man can be many. He... they was born to do such act. But whether they did it is up to the tale you want to tell about your character Dragonborn also has this kind of theme, except HIS or HERS has the motif on the dragon's urge for power. Doing all the faction quests in Skyrim just show how power hungry your Dovahkiin is. So... yes, there is a maybe, a maybe that they have done all such quests. And considering the nature of Elder Scrolls... the scrolls tell the same tale. It's just the journey is different. Multiple timeline, heck parallel timeline exist. CoC as a Mad God could see all those choice he has made, would've made, should've made, but in the end with how there is multiple timeline... to a god, he might as well had done them all and are all those faction quests leader. And there's a short tiny Dragonbreak happened when Martin reared his draconic head, and probably confused his champion with other champion that had done other faction quest in some other timeline and sort of confused us as one being. Think Amalgamation. Mantling plays on that concept like that. But hey... this is just speculation, excuse and using lore as a shield against this CANON thing of that they CAN'T.
***** Ah, but then another would've done it. Even if one timeline, our character did not, in another timeline, a character did. And as Madgod, he would've saw both timeline when they become him. It's insane, my character on Oblivion was pretty god like, so I'm not surprised in Skyrim, she turned into a Daedric Prince (seeing that all Daedric Prince's are genderless, making my female Oblivion character's gender irrelevant) that nostalgic moment when you speak to yourself... And the most obvious fact, nothing has changed, you (Skyrim character) and your Oblivion character are still the most powerful (mortal beings) to have walked on the face of the Earth. (Or Tamriel)
8lazefire I feel like the Nerevarine (the character in Morrowind for those who don't know.) is more powerful then Dovahkiin, but definitely not Sheogorath. It is debatable though.
GameSquad Actually it is in fact a continent. The funniest thing about Sheogorath is that he may still be more powerful then the daedric princes, if only because his mind if free from rational thought, you can see this in a book in skyrim where it lists off some competitions he had with some of the other daedric princes, such as Hircine and Malacath.
+Nyghtking So,you are saying he could still have the power to see the future Jyggalag had, since (as I have heard) in the battle between Hircine's and Sheogorath's creatures,he made a creature that would make the other one kill itself.

Wezz is Mad a meteor burning up in orbit is called a shooting star. That rock certainly caused the death of many. That means it could technically be 1 step away from being a "death star"
I hope Jyggalagg gets his shit together by the sixth game, cause I actually would enjoy a conflict on that scale. Would be awesome to see where he would stand in a struggle between the Daedra and Aedra. Also feel kinda sorry for all the people of Tamriel who has to deal with the Daedra while the Aedra really don't seem able to do much about it.
My mind has been blown multiple times in this one episode. Daedric prince of order, madness, and cheese, also being the great great grandfather of the character I played as in Skyrim. (I love to RP) This is just too awesome for me to not want to subscribe. Rhexx, you, sir, are amazing.
***** I put that I love to RP, and said that my characters were related, because I like to link their heritage. My character's father, Gaius Arcana, was a priest who fought with and healed men during the great war. He influenced many with his understanding of the morals of Akatosh, and thus was very attuned with Aetherius. About two years before the great collapse in Winterhold, he had a dream of a world in turmoil and dragons returning, so naturally he prayed to Akatosh. Akatosh foresaw him dying in the great collapse, and so instead of granting the gift of being a dragonborn upon Gaius, he gave it to the unborn son of Gaius, later to be known as Aventus. His great great grandfather was Claudius Arcana, who, after settling the affairs and ordeals in the shivering isles, became the new Sheogorath, the very same one that Aventus meets in the mind of Pelagius the mad. Intricate stories appeal to me a lot. :p
The description of the sexuality you threw in there was pretty funny, and thanks for the compliment. your character sounds pretty cool, and his story is awesome and fits in with the lore, too.
***** I Like to say that I'm in immortal Septim Nord. In morrowind, My character Is Forsyth Septim, a strong, smart, Awesome Nord. Same thing in Oblivion and skyrim. If I play any others, it will be the same. I'm like Tiber Septim's Great Great Great Great (Leading back to the first Era...) Great Grandfather... He's awesome Like that.
If you look closely at skyrim sheogorath, you see he has all the same features as Box Art Hero of Kvatch, or the default character in the creation section of Oblivion. He has the pulled back hair, and the sharp features, the beard is probably from age, and white eyes from immortality. Get rid of those 2 and he is probably exactly the same.
Jusah Jacobsen In reality, yes, but the people of Nirn has completely forgotten the Hero. This is because of the Grey cowl, which removes you completely from history if you wear it (although that was never a game mechanic). The wearer seems protected from loosing him/ her self. In any case, this is why you won't find a single mention of the Hero of Kvatch. And that's why the "Oblivion crisis" is a little interesting to read, considering we know the truth.
I believe he used the elder scroll to remove the curse on himself to be reunited with his wife the Stewardess of Anvil, I think the actual curse on the Cowl remained.
I also read somewhere that Jygglag was Originally Created by Lorkhan as something Beyond Any Daedra or Anything in Nirn now I am curious as to if he was before even Nirn or Aedra or Daedra!
Molag Bal's realm is a copy of Tamriel...so what if Sheogoraths realm is just made to create Aetherius (or how u spell it) so theres actually the void and all u would see is darkness....but its an illusion that makes it look like Aetherius
+RookTheShark I never played ESO so I don't know how small they made it, however Tamriel seems quite tiny. You can run through entire Morrowind within days and data from Arena( I just checked that) states it takes two months to hurl your ass from north of Skyrim to south of Valenwood... ...quite a small world.
Ok, I stopped the video at the part when you said something like: it is unknown if sheogorath also has these capabilities [of seeing into the future]. Allow me to say something from someone's beta impression. During the other video (of ESO impressions), the guy showed Sheogorath for a short time. Sheogorath talked about how his task (for the player) was easier than reassembling the staff of chaos or rebuilding the Numidium. I believed that this wasn't a pure coincidence that he referenced TES:Arena (reassembling the staff of chaos) and TES:Daggerfall (rebuilding the Numidium). I have a theory that Sheogorath has the same capabilities as Jyggalag because Jyggalag's mindset was changed from order to chais, but his powers didn't change. Well, just putting a theory out there. :)
Sheogorath is my favorite of all the Daedra Princes. I don't know if it's his powers that attract me, or his sense of humor, his story, or that beard of his.
Wait so the oblivion characters we make are sheograth? Shit I was making a thing in my mind that my character in cirydill then he goes to skyrim to seek the companions and gold >:(
John, an entire era. So about 300 to 500. Eras come when a change in tamriel takes place and things must change, like martins death, that sparked the 4th era to begin.
What about herma mora? The daedric prince of fate and knowledge, he can foretell the future and, claims to know all, yet I doubt he knows what Jygallag knows.
I hope Jyggalag will appear in the next elder scroll game. I think it's gonna be awesome if he be known as Daedric God of Balance, based on his experience in madness and order. It's gonna be epic brah
Sheogorath has got to be the best deadra in The Elder Scrolls also the 3 deadras who mainly were formed into deadra, all look like mortal races, maybe they were mortals
Here's an interesting possibility... What if Jyggylag was the patron deity of the Dwemer, who worshipped reason and logic? What better god for the Dwemer than the God of Order, whose power eclipsed the other Daedra?
A very wise point of view. It makes sense. It is possible that due to Jyggylag being 'defeated' in the manner he was it allowed the Dwemer to be all but whipped out. I say all but only because of the SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last Dwemer in morrowind!!!!!!!!!! Sorry i did that because i still know some people haven't played it and in all honesty when i did it shocked me to death that there was one.
I still think it makes more sense that the Mad God just twisted the Hero of Kvatch's perspective just to make him run around saying "I'm Sheogorath!" like most other insane people say they're Napoleon.
well, he wanted to get rid of Jyggalag, at least for a few millenia, so he had not much choice but to get it killed in the Isles... As much he likes a good joke, as much he went damn serious with the Grey March coming. IMO Sheogorath's sphere was transfered to the Hero of Kvatch, but it's really possible that Sheogorath's conscience is there with him, that changing of physical body isn't much for a daedric lord
so jyggalag is currently residing among the other Daedra and could be in future Elder scrolls games, possibly giving out bad ass order maintaining artifacts?
Because between 16 other Princes of considerable power, despite that it is likely he knew, they'd have been fools not to take this into account and carry through a seamless plot that could overpower someone only notably powerful in information and deduction. Evidently it worked.
''Dayyedra'' Doesn't anyone else find it pretty damn weird that in Oblivion we're actually helping Sheogorath defend himself against becoming Jyggalag again, when in actuality Jyggalag is pretty much the good guy and his original form?
So Jyggalag (or whatever) is now free from his curse. What happens next? Does he go and battle the other Daedra that betrayed him? I mean, he could easily defeat them as I understand it...
He is most likely weaker outside of his plane of Oblivion, and considering that now belongs to you he is probably not going to go to a place where your enemy can change reality at will, also at the end of the DLC I think they say he is just going to wander Oblivion
This was a total holy shit for me while playing oblivion and shivering isles for the first time (being now). Jyggalag is Sheogorath. And his eternal torment with the Greymarches. An incredible twist lore thingy. Thank You Bethesda.
there is a mod its called *Better Sheo* its pretty easy to install it makes your character transform after wielding thr staff of Madness and on another note it also adds in A SHIT TON OF SPELLS to mess around with because you r a deadric god after all ;)
The shivering isle story was so awsome to play through back then. I was hooked as soon as i entered the isles. Also Jygalag is the order when Sheogorath mentiones it's complete order lifeless (boring boring boring) , represented by crystals since their molecular structuresare the epitome of symetry and order.
Yes the player from Oblivion is the Sheogorath in Skyrim, but I always hoped and believed that the spirit of Sheogorath somehow found the way to the Champion of Cyrodiil and then the Champion grew into his old self and embodied the Daedra with his memories and such.
To the people who are saying that Sheogorath in Skyrim can't be their player because they were an orc, Khajiit, etc., the way the canon lore usually goes is that your character is the base race for the region the game takes place in. Morrowind your character was a Dark Elf, Oblivion your character was an imperial. That's the canon lore, so in the next game the last dragonborn will be known as a nord.
Baruis ( or however you spell his name) in oblivion says it like that. for example listen to him when your in the Imperial City, Elven Gardens district at the boarding house he will tell you as "DAY-EE-DRUH".
droppedjaw23 The words "dæmon" and "daimōn" are Latinized versions of the Greek "δαίμων" ("godlike power, fate, god"),[1] I think this is better. See, I really think they got the word Daedra from Daemon. Although not exactly the same thing.
I feel like Hermaneous Mora is perhaps the most dangerous daedra considering how smart he is. He has literally a bounty of knowledge that is constantly growing and filling his libraries and he likely knows the other daedras weaknesses. The only reason he has not conquered all of tameriel is because he is either a shut in with his books or simply has no desire to as without the realm of mortals he has no new knowledge to gain from them.
I love these videos, but it sort of irks me that they're called "Skyrim Lore". They should be called "The Elder Scrolls Lore", especially this video, because most of Sheogorath's story takes place in Oblivion, not Skyrim.
I did know that they were going to turn me in to the Daedric Prince of Madness but I decided to convince them that I was fighting when I knew I was going to be free eventually
Maybe the Daedra used someone without a fate to get to Jygallag. We know the dragon born is said to have no fate, so maybe another could have been born similarly. If they lacked a fate, it could have made it harder for even Jygallag to predict what they would do.
So I have an imperial named Preston on Oblivion. I completed the Shivering Isles DLC and decided to play Skyrim (Preston is in Skyrim too). When I started it I realized I was playing as my other character, so I tried to load my last save as Preston. He was gone! Completely vanished without a trace!
Elijah Morris The thing that makes it creepy is the fact that it really happened! I did search to make sure I was on the right storage-thing and I was.
Oke only 2 minutes in the video and I seriously need to ask, do you pronounce everything wrong on purpose, or have you never even heard the voice actors in the games say the words? If it is on purpose, then for the life of me, I don't see why. aside of that not to sound like a total dick, your vid is pretty good formed, and I like how you put so much effort into bringing it all, way better then those people that always use a mono toned voice. Not to mention you at least get the facts right, so many people on youtube spewing pure nonsense, not even knowing the slightest of lore, glad to see somebody takes it a little more serious. as for your last note on Jyggalag, I personally still vieuw him as a good example of what falls into the norms of Daedric princes, even tough he wields the status of Order, he is more a control freak about it, while the Aedra layed down laws and rules, they never "forced" man or mer to follow these laws, they merely implanted them as suggestions and rewarded the ones that did follow these guidelines. Jyggalag however is pretty much a full tyrant, its ether follow his will, or die. Live in Order, or die, while a daedra like Molag Bal can be described as "Chaotic Evil", Jyggalag is more of a "Lawfully Evil" type. Coursing problems, destruction and death by Order and rule. If Jyggalag would have a Oblivion realm by now, it would not surprize me this realm would be gray, devoid of color and emotion. Only inhabited by those only following logic and order, having even the slightest of emotion or acting on a whim would most likely be a crime in his realm.
Fufe Faustus pre oblivion yes, but after Oblivion the hero of Kvatch broke that curse and free'd Jygglag, now Jyggalag is somwhere in Oblivion rebuilding his realm while the Champion of Cyrodiil (hero of kvatch) undertook a very slow transformation over the years into the new Sheogorath)
so in oblivion, your a future daedric prince. it actually makes since because he refrences that it was him that aaved kvach ( i hope i spelled it right)
Think about this: If Jyggalag was the order guy, and he was able to overthrow the Deadra... does that mean the order would be broken? Aedra and Daedra form a certain form of "balance". If he was to change something, order would be destroyed. Good can't exist without evil. To prevent that, Deadra turned him into opposite for their own reasons...?
The fact that you are the Champion of Cyrodil can be seen as the sheogorath you find in oblivion is slightly different then the one in skyrim, in skyrim sheogorath is trying to cure someone of insanity instead of induce it
so I played Morrowind loads when I was 14/15, but then fell out of love with games... I became more interested in music and bands and creating art in the meantime... now I'm 26.. a friend of mine was about to chuck out his 360 so I decided to acquire it, and over the past 2 months I've been getting heavy into Skyrim and Oblivion (games I never played before this year). I've just finished the Shivering Isles main quests and decided to watch this video today and that JYGALAG poem chat is just aaah totally what I find so rewarding in returning to these games after a decade of not playing video games. such deep detailed lore! it's amazing.Great video! One thing I want to ask is... now don't be offended. Your English has a sorta Finnish twing at times. You're not from Finland no?
When he says "yer make'n meh teeth itch" does that mean he will bite you? I remember reading Shakespeare and when Juliet dad said your making my fingers itch it meant he was threatening to hit her
A god could wake up mortal...
That makes me think about the opening of Skyrim more than I used to...

John Lee ffs he ain't dovahkiins grandfather u fool its just the oblivion character
I for one would really like a video on Psijic Order. They seem to be the Grey Beards of mages.
he is my favorite daedric prince for 3 reason
1) he's hilarious
2) the wabajak
3) THE CHEESE
It took a while, but finally people are making the connection. The simple fact that the Hero of Kvatch is no longer, and is now Sheogorath.
+Bidmartinlo but they are one and the same
Jusah Jacobsen In reality, yes, but the people of Nirn has completely forgotten the Hero.
I believe he used the elder scroll to remove the curse on himself to be reunited with his wife the Stewardess of Anvil, I think the actual curse on the Cowl remained.
none of the side quests are canon, well, they are, they were just not done by the hero
kittehdrawrs Then why does Sheo in skyrim make a reference to the Dark Brotherhood questline, and the Gray Fox?
You're like HaloFollower. Both of you make lore videos of a game, and neither of you can pronounce anything right
Gofaw Lol
+Anastasia Dovakiin bullshit, he mispronounces simple stuff that is even mentioned in the game...
***** HaloFollower doesn't have an accent.
***** He's stated dozens of times that he has a speech impediment. For all I know, you could be pulling the whole "he has an American accent" crap.
+RookTheShark Imagine a british chewing a gum while talking. That's the American accent.
I am litterally so enthralled by these videos. The amount of depth bethesda puts into games is astounding
Cheese for you good sir
I support this man
MrRhexx
#SHEOGORATHFORPRESIDENT2016
Hey presidental old me! Is it fun to be old jyggy again?
Sheogorath Yes since I am in control of him.
President_Sheogorath my dream came true dubble hilarity to the MAX
I also read somewhere that Jygglag was Originally Created by Lorkhan as something Beyond Any Daedra or Anything in Nirn now I am curious as to if he was before even Nirn or Aedra or Daedra!
Bryant Quidley nah fam before them there was only annu and padomae (however u spelling)
Molag Bal's realm is a copy of Tamriel...so what if Sheogoraths realm is just made to create Aetherius (or how u spell it) so theres actually the void and all u would see is darkness....but its an illusion that makes it look like Aetherius
It could very well be just his creation, my idea is pretty conspiracy theorist as it is I know :D
it's a creation of his mind that's why Mania and Dementia exist as sheogorath's shifting personalities
***** Coldharbour is what Tamriel would look like if Molag Bal had control of it.
+RookTheShark CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
+RookTheShark
I never played ESO so I don't know how small they made it, however Tamriel seems quite tiny. You can run through entire Morrowind within days and data from Arena( I just checked that) states it takes two months to hurl your ass from north of Skyrim to south of Valenwood...
...quite a small world.
dude your lore videos are fantastic you are realy good storyteller ,you are badass
Elder scrolls online isn't cannon
A "DaAAedra"
"Jyggalath"
Can you please do a LORE about the Psijic Order and a LORE about the College of Winterhold (and talk about some powerful wizards who went there)?
Sheogorath is my favorite of all the Daedra Princes. I don't know if it's his powers that attract me, or his sense of humor, his story, or that beard of his.
So... When you meet sheogorath in skyrim, we are basicly meeting ourselves. Weird.
Wait so the oblivion characters we make are sheograth? Shit I was making a thing in my mind that my character in cirydill then he goes to skyrim to seek the companions and gold >:(
Rocketjumpingspy Well, its been about 200 years.....
John, an entire era. So about 300 to 500.
Eras come when a change in tamriel takes place and things must change, like martins death, that sparked the 4th era to begin.
Jamie Thorburn Well. I said ABOUT....
I wasn't disagreeing with you.
Being precise though.
My best Daedric lords.
Good job Rhexx, keep these videos coming!
its JyggalaG and CHampion of Cyrodill...
and it's Dee-dra.
Jygglyath and Shampion of Cyrodiil
“Jyggalath”
“Shampion”
“Syrodill”
Thanks for pumping these out so fast, Rhexx! Keep up the great work!
It's gonna be epic brah
the way you pronounce daedra and daedric is triggering me
QuarterMasterGaming no I'm fine with that but he pronounces ysgrammor pisses me off n the white run vid
Viralproject /loveyourlife "ees-grammar". My favorite word he mispronounces though is "archipelago" from his rarest creatures in tamriel video
dAiEdra
Sheogorath has got to be the best deadra in The Elder Scrolls
also the 3 deadras who mainly were formed into deadra, all look like mortal races, maybe they were mortals
also I can only remember one mention of malacath in oblivion is how "malacath is not common at parties"
Damn straight.
Amber Anthony not nothing but from magnis
Edward Kenway they were
Here's an interesting possibility... What if Jyggylag was the patron deity of the Dwemer, who worshipped reason and logic? What better god for the Dwemer than the God of Order, whose power eclipsed the other Daedra?
Julia Nadeau Damm that is a Good point
A very wise point of view. It makes sense. It is possible that due to Jyggylag being 'defeated' in the manner he was it allowed the Dwemer to be all but whipped out. I say all but only because of the SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last Dwemer in morrowind!!!!!!!!!! Sorry i did that because i still know some people haven't played it and in all honesty when i did it shocked me to death that there was one.
The Shivering Isles DLC for Oblivion was soooo much fun!
Sheogorath: No wonder why I like CHEESE!!!
Höllenfeuer NOPE
Hard to even imagine, how much work you put into this channel, kudos to you! :)
I wanna see a fight between Sheogorath... and Ryan Haywood.
The Mad God VS The Mad King!
DOVAHBEAR! ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE IVE SEEN YOU COUSIN!
Isn't the outcome already predictable? I mean something that creates things out of nothing against some guy created by something like that.
With Peter O'Toole fighting the winner!
Sheogorath:Daedric Prince of Pizza (PS:CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESE)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so jyggalag is currently residing among the other Daedra and could be in future Elder scrolls games, possibly giving out bad ass order maintaining artifacts?
I'm really into jug galah and probably my most favorite daedra next to sheograth
Incredibly Undeniable "jyggalag"
invincable jyggalag WHY ARE YOU SAYING MY NAME
Jyggalag God Of Order no no my friend it is my name,
If Jyggalag can see the future why he don't see is demise and prevented it?!?
Because between 16 other Princes of considerable power, despite that it is likely he knew, they'd have been fools not to take this into account and carry through a seamless plot that could overpower someone only notably powerful in information and deduction.
Evidently it worked.
''Dayyedra''
Doesn't anyone else find it pretty damn weird that in Oblivion we're actually helping Sheogorath defend himself against becoming Jyggalag again, when in actuality Jyggalag is pretty much the good guy and his original form?
WHAAAAT Sheogorath of skyrim is the Hero of kvatch?????????? Is My Player!? What the fuck, this is real crazy!!! o:
Hein?!
why so surprise. you did becoming Sheogorath in Oblivion
sembarangjaknama Oblivion Was My Favorite Elder Scrolls
Sheohorath actually makes comment on this saying he "knew Martin Septim and was there for that whole affair"
yup blew my mind aswell
The (involuntary, I think) irony is that Jyggalag could basically be the Daedric Prince of OCD...
Well, I can't exactly take a Daedric Prince of Order that seriously with a silly name such as that.
Your profile's name is not better.
Amazing Thank you for the intense theories you put out there loved every minute
So Jyggalag (or whatever) is now free from his curse. What happens next? Does he go and battle the other Daedra that betrayed him? I mean, he could easily defeat them as I understand it...
He is most likely weaker outside of his plane of Oblivion, and considering that now belongs to you he is probably not going to go to a place where your enemy can change reality at will, also at the end of the DLC I think they say he is just going to wander Oblivion
I love your lores rhexx! they teach me things that I never knew about!
That is some deep Shit...
the sky in the shivering isles was the absolute coolest thing i ever saw in the game
Sheogorath is the best daedric lord
Callum Hilliard I agree. He's hilarious
You can see Aetherius through the sun...
Jyggalath ? What the fuck not only can't this guy prenounce Daedra, Sheogorath or even JYGGALAGG holy crap...
Give him a break. It's just a game. Plus the fact that the language from Elder Scrolls is fictional.
yagamijase Still to prenounce Jyggalagg is simple as hell. There is no TH or F in the Word. Besides that he seems to speak perfect English otherwise.
Tiaz Frost
I admit, I don't know how to say Jyggalagg. Is the J and Y pronounced like an I or like Ee?
yagamijase
jig-a-lag.
ViNcEnT RoSs
Jig-a-lag? LoL Thanks for telling me
This was a total holy shit for me while playing oblivion and shivering isles for the first time (being now). Jyggalag is Sheogorath. And his eternal torment with the Greymarches. An incredible twist lore thingy. Thank You Bethesda.
Lore on parthunax? However its spelled.
Kongmeng Fang Paarthurnax
I love how this video talks so quickly it sounds like insane babble. Idk if that was intentional but it works really well
Sheogorath best madgod OB
MrRhexx Awesome dude im glad u r back with us, u have obviously settled into the new/old place. How is panama treating u now that ur back anyway bud
Wish there was a mod that made Sheogorath be the race/gender of your Oblivion character..
+Miasimon Well he became a daedric god, so he can change his looks how ever he wants... so he chose to look like that no matter what he was before.
You could probably suggest it to a moder
there is a mod its called *Better Sheo* its pretty easy to install it makes your character transform after wielding thr staff of Madness
and on another note it also adds in A SHIT TON OF SPELLS to mess around with because you r a deadric god after all ;)
The shivering isle story was so awsome to play through back then. I was hooked as soon as i entered the isles. Also Jygalag is the order when Sheogorath mentiones it's complete order lifeless (boring boring boring) , represented by crystals since their molecular structuresare the epitome of symetry and order.
sheogorath is my fav Daric prince
technically you're your own favorite prince
I kinda like Clavicus vile
How nice of you to share my secrets that I kept hidden for so long. THANK YOU I SAY!!
The Best Daedric Lord!!! :D
+Syrena Korjula Jyggalag? I agree he is the best daedric prince.
Yes the player from Oblivion is the Sheogorath in Skyrim, but I always hoped and believed that the spirit of Sheogorath somehow found the way to the Champion of Cyrodiil and then the Champion grew into his old self and embodied the Daedra with his memories and such.
When he threw a mini moon at the tribunal
I love Sheogorath! and i absolutely loved playing the shivering isles DLC, I wish they had more of him in Skyrim. Also i really like your accent :D
I thought daedra were agents of chaos, so one being an agent of order doesnt make much sense to me
That is technically chaos if you think about it
He wants COMPLETE order.
This is not good, both must preserve a equilibrium.
I thought the daedra were agents of change, and so Jyggalag, wishing to remove all chaos, would change things.
If you are forcing everyone you meet to obey your idea of order wouldn't that be chaos?
Change. Not chaos.
Daedra exist to bring about change. Sheogorath is the Prince of Chaos and Madness. Chaos is his realm
Omg omg thank you so much for doing sheogorath he's my favourite daedric prince and you took my suggestion thank you so much
Hipsters are Daedra
We don't talk about that.
Shut up.
Jyggalath
- triggered
Do one on meridia already. you left us scratching our heads when you mentioned that she holds a precious secret.
I hate the way this guy says Daedra. Its pronounced 'Day-druh'. Not 'Day-ee-druh'.
Jig-u-lath.
He pronounces it like in Oblivion which is "DAY-EE-DRUH" , Skyrim is "DAY-DRUH".
droppedjaw23 They never pronounced it like that....
Baruis ( or however you spell his name) in oblivion says it like that. for example listen to him when your in the Imperial City, Elven Gardens district at the boarding house he will tell you as "DAY-EE-DRUH".
droppedjaw23
The words "dæmon" and "daimōn" are Latinized versions of the Greek "δαίμων" ("godlike power, fate, god"),[1] I think this is better.
The only reason he has not conquered all of tameriel is because he is either a shut in with his books or simply has no desire to as without the realm of mortals he has no new knowledge to gain from them.
he probably became the most powerful after jyggalag was cursed into becoming sheogaroth
No sense of order in Daedra, so explain Peryite
hes shit
he's pretty much is the god of pestilence and shit
I love how we all basically said the same thing
I think his "order" is ment to be more like commanding lesser daedra, that's what I read on a wiki anyway
Yeah, actually it's worth noting that Periyite is also the Daedric Prince of tasks
**Sees army of Sheogoraths**
....I am both overjoyed and terrified at the same time.
I love these videos, but it sort of irks me that they're called "Skyrim Lore". They should be called "The Elder Scrolls Lore", especially this video, because most of Sheogorath's story takes place in Oblivion, not Skyrim.
I did know that they were going to turn me in to the Daedric Prince of Madness but I decided to convince them that I was fighting when I knew I was going to be free eventually
do you think Cicero is possessed by Sheogorath?
Great video, would like to know more interesting things on the Elder Scrolls series
CHEEESE CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!
Maybe the Daedra used someone without a fate to get to Jygallag. We know the dragon born is said to have no fate, so maybe another could have been born similarly. If they lacked a fate, it could have made it harder for even Jygallag to predict what they would do.
lol AND THE CHEESE
So I have an imperial named Preston on Oblivion. I completed the Shivering Isles DLC and decided to play Skyrim (Preston is in Skyrim too). When I started it I realized I was playing as my other character, so I tried to load my last save as Preston. He was gone! Completely vanished without a trace!
Elijah Morris The thing that makes it creepy is the fact that it really happened! I did search to make sure I was on the right storage-thing and I was.
In honor of my missing character/Sheogorath, I've decided to dedicate the song Spazzmatica Polka to them...him...I'm so confused.
Cheese anyone
It's too die for
+PROCIFIC THE CHEESE!!!!!!ITS TO DIEEEE FOR!
you did that chaotic intro right after you said, "theres no telling what will happen with sheogorath in the future" LOL
Sadly, the other Daedric Princes made Jyggalag into Sheogorath..
Fufe Faustus
pre oblivion yes, but after Oblivion the hero of Kvatch broke that curse and free'd Jygglag, now Jyggalag is somwhere in Oblivion rebuilding his realm while the Champion of Cyrodiil (hero of kvatch) undertook a very slow transformation over the years into the new Sheogorath)
so in oblivion, your a future daedric prince. it actually makes since because he refrences that it was him that aaved kvach ( i hope i spelled it right)
Think about this: If Jyggalag was the order guy, and he was able to overthrow the Deadra... does that mean the order would be broken? Aedra and Daedra form a certain form of "balance". If he was to change something, order would be destroyed. Good can't exist without evil. To prevent that, Deadra turned him into opposite for their own reasons...?
Props to the music choice ^.^' it just fits really fell ;D
One thing I do wonder is: What happened to each of the player characters after each Elder Scrolls game ended?
When he says "yer make'n meh teeth itch" does that mean he will bite you?
I remember reading Shakespeare and when Juliet dad said your making my fingers itch it meant he was threatening to hit her
