Who said Alberich steals the gold? Possession means title, and those three bitches with supernatural powers let him take whatever he wanted. Almost whatever...
Less than semi-literate in reading scores, this is a revelation - I know the recording like the back of my hand, so it is an education to have to revisit it. Thank you for the upload, (and even more for the work, Tomek!)
Wow. Thank you for posting this. Astounding in every way. Love Wagner's opening of the Ring: the depths and calm of the River roused to witness human/"divine" drama. Solti sure did too.
Thank you SO much for re-uploading Tom's amazing score synchronization which was taken down for copyright. I severely missed studying Das Rhinegold and I can only HOPE this doesn't get taken down as well. Liked and favorited.
@A W I think it's mis-recognised as Marek Janowski's recording, which seems to be verboten. I have in any case re-synched Tomek's score to Böhm's 1966 Bayreuth version: ruclips.net/video/rZ02T5UB1zQ/видео.html

Thanks.
Fantastic. In my humble opinion, t will always remain the greatest recording of The Ring.

Incredible 👍
My favorite version. Guslav Neidlinger is the most amazing Alberich ever!
Das Rheingold is back
Oh, yes, thank you. Just came from the Walküre, this reupload is a good idea
Everybody came from the Walkure, but that doesn't mean everybody has to be proud of it. The Walkure herself, obviously...
