I got the silver version, lovely coins- a bit expensive though! I don’t think they were sold out. But definitely worth having.

Very cool trivia about the Petition Crown. I was wondering where the term came from!
I noticed in the relief edge-lettering that the wording "Engraven to Releive him" had the spelling of "Releive" as, what we now call a spelling error, because the "e" is before the "i".
It would be interesting to find out why - I can only assume it's because that was the original way of spelling it in earlier language, but it's an interesting quagmire all the same.
So if I had to give a shout to a previous great engraver, it could be difficult. I am an avid fan of Wyon's work on the florin/crown young portrait, and would love a Great Engravers edition of the set in silver for my collection. Arnold Machin is my favourite engraver of Monarchy since Victorian coinage, and the high relief device of a young Queen Elizabeth II, even in circulated coinage, really shows. The Gardener Rose is my favourite reverse design of circulated coinage since Victoria, too. A nod towards them would be nice. Wonderful stuff Christopher, thanks for the video!

The worst dealer to transact with,
I ordered and paid for a three graces gold sovereign set from them, after 40 days of waiting I contacted them to enquire, apparently they “forgot” to ship out my order.
    Circus show.
