I’m new scuba diver (1 year certified w/54 dives logged) & I’ve find your 7-yr videos as valuable as your 7-days ago, or even 7-hour ago videos!! Thank you for consistently thorough content that gives a wide variety of scuba tips & tutorials. 🤩
I keep seeing ‘Best Accessories’ videos from renowned Scuba diving channels like yourself - however videos explaining how to tidy it all up and carry such gear properly on your BCD or your person are very very rare. Would be good to have a good video about this!
Lol. The same thoughts. What if you use all of that "accessories"? You will probably get tangled even before entering the water. Fortunately, it's unlikely to die if you didn't forget your snorkel.
Lanyard: OK, on the camera, with a boltsnap to clip it off. Necklace: OK. and a longhose. Wetnotes: OK. Clipped off in pocket. Springstraps: yesszzzz. Boltsnaps & double-enders: oh yes. Toolkit: of course. Murphy demands it. DSMB + reel clipped off in pocket.
Short question:@5:51 ... Does the Mares XR Spring Straps fit on the Mares X-Stream fins? They are looking much more tougher than the normal rubber spring-straps from Mares. Thanks for feedback.
the most important diving accessory is simple a big flask you will be amazed at how much more attractive you get to women , and how much more interesting you become to other men , when your the one with spare hot tea ,,, if you dont mind maxing out on everything ,,, make it hot chocolate , you nearly become a dive god.
If Im your dive leader and you intend on bringing a reef hook, you might aswell stay on shore cause I might just hook you with it when I see you using it. Only good accessory on that list is the bolt snap, double ended preffereably. Those horns are also the most annoying dive invention ever cause people use them for the joke of it.

Yeah look at what you like and use it but not all
I tried several times as a beginner to take a torch diving with me, it just keeps going out in the water... I finally had to switch to a flashlight!
There was a time when an underwater torch was a torch. Try googling Underwater torches Sea Hunt.
Nice video
How to hang the accessories so that they don’t hand dangling and hang onto corals while diving
I loop hair elastics on the shoulder strap to hold my light and compass in place when not in use :)
The only thing you need are Boltsnaps.
Change my mind
No way! You belong to the dark side. However, you also need a piece of a line.
