Same here. The only thing I dislike now is that you have to spend a lot on a "package" in order to get the HIDs or even more to get a decent stereo. I thought they used to have an "a la carte" option menu when the MKVI GTI first came out.
I'm willing to bet that base price will be very aggressive and the "performance pack", if we get it, will be about a $2,800 option. I'm still on the fence with picking up a loaded MKVI this summer for a good discount, or waiting a year for the MKVII.
