@@syasol8131 Imo, the choice of the word 'survive' is unfitting. He is not a survivor, he is the ultimate winner after all. He fought like true warrior with everything he had. He tried to outsmart the corrupt system, he built programs after programs which were so supreme that he could only be beaten by heavily biased scoring. Figure skating fans who don't only watch FS for entertainment but actually know the rules have seen that. They have seen the injustice and they sided with Hanyu and gave him their support. That's why he is the ultimate winner at the end. Was he hurt? Yes. Visibly. But he managed to came out stronger than ever. Look at his shining, rising star as a professional. Sold out solo performances one after the other while other shows and competitions struggle to sell tickets. International fame, being on Disney +, having live streamed worldwide. Being the first ever figure skater who pulled out a solo ice show, then put ice on Tokyo Dome, then had a solo ice show tour with 8 performances. All sold out. Because he won the heart of people who followed him from childhood, who witnessed his abuse by his own federation. Many people decided to support him between 2018 and 2022 because they saw his fight with the corrupt system and saw that he didn't give up no matter how hard he was hit. He stood up again and again and every of his performances got stronger and stronger. There is no other skater at this moment who could skate his two Olympic programs from Beijing. They are so difficult. And not because they are packed with jumps but because of the complexity of the skating in between jumps. There is no other skater who could skate alone for a 2.5 hours long show either.
So I don't call him a survivor. He is triumphant.

@@rawia-2747 It's sad but true, I remember when people were even calling Javi a clout chaser because he hung out with Yuzu. Yuzu fans very publicly bullied Zhenya, even on her instagram comment (you can go and see them) and were sending her death threat, this isn't anyone being delusional, it's literally facts. He does look lonely and they're not the only person in the comment section to notice it, even I did. Even now in the comment section of youtube videos, I still see Yuzu fans saying nasty things about Zhenya even though her and Yuzu have limited their public interactions.
I kinda feel that other skaters afraid being near him, they could be terrorize by some crazy fanyu like what happened to evgenia and missha... poor Hanyu, he is such a lovable person... T.T

As far as I know there were dating rumors of Yuzu and Evgenia because she switched coaches and went to train with Brian, but it’s usually fans just exaggerating things :/ so I think that’s why we don’t see them being as close now

Body language analysis: Hanyu gathers and plays with streamers, pointedly ignoring Nathan Chen who stood nearby. Nathan skates towards a group of friends and soon becomes cozily entangled in streamers with them, dancing and joking. Meanwhile, Hanyu stands by his lonesome self, still pretending to be absorbed in streamers. After music ends, Nathan removes all streamers, skates purposefully and remains with small groups of friends for photo shoots while Hanyu continues to drape streamers on himself, and appears lost, floating around aimlessly on ice. When group congregates for final photo-shoot, Hanyu skates to where Nathan stands, and puts his arm on Nathan's back giving him a stroke. After the shoot, he extends his arms outwards to embrace Nathan, who gives him a hug. The two hug and speak briefly, then skate in opposite directions. Nathan remains on the ice, taking photos with friends. Hanyu, reluctant to leave, drifts aimlessly by himself. Even after leaving the ice, he does not want to leave the arena and remains playing with streamers in the stands. Nathan continues to take photos with frriends. Eventually, Hanyu leaves after shouting to get some attention. He wanted somnething, some connection, but he didn't get it. He wanted to be the center of attention but he wasn't. He left frustrated.
