It's amazing how an aircraft wheel can go from zero to 150 MPH faster than you can snap your fingers while simultaneously having a load of zero pounds go to several tons at the same time!
They were actually working on spinning up the landing gear wheels before touch down to save and extended the tires rubber and life. As well as putting less stress on the landing gear compents 😮 👌
0:12 It is definitely wrong to use normal rubber that starts to smoke because of the heat. PTFE has one of the highest melting points of any thermoplastic at 327°C, and a very large operating temperature range. Since landing runways are completely smooth there is no need to have air-filled rubber tires.
Niceo video, good shots and some good facts here and there. This came off as a bit of a commercial, but if all commercials were of this quality I would be happy
I've always wondered what the logistics might be to get the wheels turning at the speed of the landing before touchdown. Cost/benefit analysis stuff that is over my head.
Everybody quite reasonably asks this, but the weight and complexity are far beyond the value saved in the tires. There have even been passive ideas that used wind vanes attached to the wheels to let airflow spin them up, but even that wasn't worth the cost/benefit ratio. It's a fascinating question and google will serve you well.
I hate bland meaningless statements in the scripts of these videos: ‘the construction of aircraft is a highly integrated and sophisticated process that demands, precision, advanced manufacturing technologies and strict adherence to quality standards’. Yes, and so what?
I shudder to think what the lack of Boeing Services will mean for ruzzian passenger flights in the near future. European airports will not give clearance for fear of breakdown. Back to horse and buggy. I saw a Boeing bring Lavrov to South Africa. Wonder how long his merry flights will continue before his wheels fall off.
Heavy planes with very poor aerodynamic performances, low manufacturing cost & devastating low bad quality & outdated materials as bronze (yes you read bronze : from the bronze age ) fly as well. Guess who's the champion behind. The pilot.

Great video. It is amazing seeing an aircraft and components being built. Knowing that the parts will operate just as they were expected to.
تستحقون الاحترام و التقدير
You are worth of respect because you worked hard to develope your countries
Kurasa ini sangat luar biasa sekali... terimakasih video nya,temanku..🙏👍🇮🇩
So, how are landing gears made? Weren't you supposed to sho that?
Well done 👏 ✔ good work
I love ❤️ seeing how things are made. Thanks 👍! 😊😊😊
Nice & informative video ❤❤
One of the few aircraft parts that remain virtually intact in accidents.
Amazing.
Thank you.
Thank you so much 🙏😊😀😁😄🤲👌👍🌹💖🙏😊
Amazing work 👍👍👍
Very best ilove this porosis
So nice factory beautiful technology hard bring
Realy I like this factory so so much
But are these suspensions self-levelling and electronically controlled?

Imagínense cuántos componentes tiene una ventanilla y todo tiene que encajar como rompecabezas!!!!!!!😮😮😮😲😮😮😮😮😮😲
If you talk a good game then you must do the good game.
Outstanding
I wish editors would allow more time between cuts. You really don't get a chance to see much before it's on to the next shot. It isn't a car chase.

This was the disappointing part, all written as a commercial. Superb narration, for sure.
Super...
Got it thanks.
How do you build 5-axis machine tools , in a 3-dimensional world?. Are there more than three axis, and three rotations around those axis?
Super very good jaihind
Beautiful people technical technician
كل حاجة لازم اكتبها...علشان عند المواجهة مينفعش اقول...كنت عايز اقول...لأ...قلت وخيانتكم في بعض هي اللي ضيعتكم...ف لازم اكتبها كتابة#*.
Do not worry folks Air Brakes will replace all workers you can count on it. :/
Big technology high quality So hard
MEGA Video 👌
That is as a excellent video 👍
Nice video, but what happened to quality of fuselages made by Spirit Aerosystems.
Landing gears?
I thought landing gear was already the plural.
Correct me if I am wrong.
The plural of gear is gear. The plural of aircraft is aircraft. 1000 landing gear. 1000 aircraft.
Not gears they are a system of Gear. Don’t pluralize like deers. They are deer.
Impressive
I'd be quite pleased to have the money it costs to shoe that horse.
X-33 to Mars

When did Safran start doing work on A380 WLG? Also when did they start making 737 MLG?
At 19 seconds in, as an example of fixed landing gear in the early years - that was a B -24 -with retractable gear. Please.
WOW
It is shafran.
Very having production
Astronaut down on a planet but you can't walk back.
V cool
OnShape!!
The plural of landing gear is landing gear.
Landing gear is both singular and plural.
You're correct. Although I never thought about it until your post. Good catch.
Não mostrou nada de trem de pouso.

Aluminium ( Aluminum🙄) isn’t a new generation material.
Viva au Brasil temos um avião melhor que esse viva au KC 390
😂😂❤❤🎉🎉

Now you understand why aircraft cost hundreds of millions of doll hairs....
Cool video. It is amazing how many mentally challenged people work there. All masked up. Zombies!
Wow, about 20% was actually about landing gear. And not much shown. More advertisement than information.
Mama❤😅😂😢🎉❤

What's up with all the improper pluralization of words and mispronunciations? Yeesh.
