It's still funny that we still need to tap and tap to reload every time. They can always set to auto top or auto deduct from ewallet with personalized setting. Daaa!!😮
Can the same TNG NFC card to reload with different phones? Let say my mom doesn't have eWallet and either of us siblings has to reload for her when balance runs low?
It is funny to think a card that can hold credit with NFC technology cost RM10 and a small RFID sticker cost RM35.

The amount of times in scanning the cards for the reload process is just so ridiculous to me. And frequently the card can’t be detected and shown errors. Oh my. I thought we are moving forward with efficiency. Not redundancy.
All you do is complain.
Making something simple from complexity isn't easy.
Maybe you wanna understand UX/ UI before you critic.
There's a reason why all road signs come in different colors and shapes but there's only 1 shape and color for stop signs regardless of the language.
Even there is an upgrade, I'm pretty sure you kind of people will still critic on something you can't come up with something constructive. Maybe there's a reason on tapping 3 times, as a sense of security and different process in the app, allowing your phone to orgainze in stages.
Imagine being glitched for 500RM top up vs 10RM top up.
Sama gak la mcm kad lama, x share credit e wallet dan kad, beza nya cumanya boleh topup pakai phone yg ada nfc function,, ingatkan auto deduct dari e wallet,,
Super thanks. I have had the card for a long time but am unable to reload using a phone scan. Apparently, I need to add the card using NFC not by keying in the serial number to make the NFC reload functioning. 😢

If your phones NFC can reload the card, it makes you wonder why don't they just cut out the card and allow you to tap an NFC enabled phone to make payments.
If you know where the NFC contact point is, you can most likely do that lol
But yeah, mobile payments is different because it uses tokenization, which is very different from NFC, so it can't be done this way tbh

It is not just you. It is indeed very buggy. It should be able to detect the card seamlessly but it doesnt, My trick is instead of tapping the card I place the card horizontally on the table and then place the iPhone on top of the card vertically so that the card touches the top part (including the camera) and that works for me consistently. Holding both the card and the iPhone in hand and trying to tap, that is very very buggy.

If the smartphone don't have nfc reader capability, still need to go to petrol station or 7E to top up, right?

NFC is highly convenient when it comes to making payments. NFC payments are great to engage the customers and it has become a new normal too.
So i assume this is the reason that cause the card to be out of stock for like 3 mths and emerging resellers selling them for twice or triple fold of its original price?? Since they have the touch n go app that's nfc enabled, why not just use our phone as a touch n go instead? I know the technology is different but hey, Samsung Pay did it.
So what are the advantages of this card compared to the normal TnG cards?
No need to look for top up locations, pay top up fee and on highways don’t have to rely on R&R top up kiosk sometimes not working

Kad ni boleh topap pakai NFC macam dia buat tu. Takyah dok susah2 topap kat 7e ke stesen minyak ke. Topap pakai app TnG terus masuk kad…senang

Can I check the Enhanced Touch N Go card straight away after passing a charging toll to see how much I have been charged?
Or do I need to wait for at least 24 to 48 hours before the charges are up to date in my Touch N Go eWallet?

I bought enhanced card but cant add to my ewallet. My ewallet is still "verification in process" for more than 2wks. Report several times and nothing happen. So waste of money to buy it.

So, can we mix toll gates between rfid and this new card? Bcz sometimes either rfid,smart tag n touchngo toll gate long Q. If can mix gates would be good
It works exactly the same as your existing Touch n Go, only difference is that you can reload the balance using your phone with NFC functionality instead of heading to reload points.
@@klgadgettv so, we have to choose either rfid(ewallet) or smart tag (tng card) because their acc still not the same. So we cant use both within the journey..
@@afiqaFaT if you go through tolls like ldp which has PayDirect, your touch n go card will take ewallet balance which is the same as RFID. However, you can use RFID or TnG only because the toll still hasn't support PayDirect

It can only work with a touch n go terminal, not credit card machines

can the app using just the ewallet pay the fee at the JB-SG causeway? a lot of Sporeans are holding expired TnG cards and can’t get the new NFC or even older cards.
Unless it has PayDirect enabled, you will have to use a TnG card to make payment

What's the difference between this enhanced card and the Touch&Go Visa card?
It's a huge difference between them. You can't purchase things offline using enhanced tng card, only tolls, etc. But using Visa Cars, you can use it to buy groceries and things online. Same as your debit card, unfortunately somebody said it can't be used for toll, etc. It's like opposite benefits.

This is like your typical touch n go card that lets you reload balance with your NFC enabled smartphone in addition to of reload counters, and yes, it links to e wallet.

Yes you have to, because it needs to write data to the card, similar to Singapore's cash card.

Masa saya perasan tercicir tu nasib baik dompet saya dan kad pengenalan masih ada tapi hilang kad TnG dan wang tunai dalam tu.
Lepas tu terus buat panggilan ke hotline helpline service PLUS dan juga terus ke balai polis untuk buat laporan.
Lepas tengok ada lah orang tu sempat nak guna untuk tol kecil-kecil kat KL / Selangor tu, tapi macam ada perasan dia nak guna untuk tol besar kot, dah masuk tol, masa perasan dah sekat kan, kad yang tercicir dipegang orang tu tak sempat nak keluar tol lagi, mesti dia geram sebab tak dapat nak keluar dari tol tu LOL
Nasib baik hilang bawah RM10 tol saja, sebab hari tu memang dah plan nak guna untuk rentas negeri jadi dah siap-siap bubuh seratus lebih ringgit dalam kad tu.
PLUS kirim cek ke rumah saya, dan saya cuma kena beli kad baru lah. Nasib dapat selamat majoriti duit dalam kad tu
