IF Ansbach is gone but there are no summon signs, it’s possible that Leda is focusing on a DIFFERENT PERSON. Specifically, from the golden hippo grace, go out the right door (it might need to be opened from the other side first) go up the stairs, and immediately to the right, look on the ground for summon signs. Use the red one, and after this is complete, go talk to Leda again, exhaust dialog, and THEN go check where Ansbach used to be
@@tvs8150 it’s a classic fromsoft “open it from the other side first” door. Navigate from the left door in hippos room to where the line of boats are, then find the large flight of stairs going down and at the bottom is the door. At the top of those stairs off to one side are the summon signs.
@@kylewood4001 idk, I only did Hornsent because Ansbachs summon signs weren’t showing up, that and I’ve seen others say that yeah once you use the gold summon sign and fight Leda she disappears until the end
Just wanted to say that this video is perfectly fine. Most of the people complaining probably didn't finish hornsents quest line. I also thought I was locked out of the quest but after helping leda kill hornsents I exhausted all dialogue and went back to the spot where the summoning signs for ansbach would be and they were there. This guide is great for finishing the quest I searched quite a few videos about it until I found yours that actually showed me where to go in the black keep. Just wanted to give some positive feedback and say thank you for helping me out.

I finished Honsents quest and went back to where Ansbach/Leda summons are supposed to be but nope, nothing there. I actually have 3 accounts in the DLC and I’m locked out of the summons in all 3. I also have a lvl 400 account on NG+7 I just got it to the DLC so hopefully this Fkn time I can get that dang bow!!
Note: If the signs are not appearing even after doing everything just like him, you might have to help Leda against hornsent first, untill she talks about ansbach in the main road cross. Once she does, the signs will appear.
Finish hornsents quest. Once you kill hornsent if you did the steps in the guide and exhausted all the dialogue between you and these particular NPCs she'll bring up ansbach and you should be able to go to The invasion
You have to go to the Black keep and assist leda fighting hornsent. The summoning signs should be outside of the area where you take the elevator to the specimen storeroom. After that she'll bring up fighting ansbach when you go talk to her at the sight of Grace after killing hornsent. Hope this helps! I was worried I had messed it up too lol
can i still get ansbachs armor after killing radahn? i tried finding and looting his body like the few of the NPCs i was able to find. but i cannot find his anyone know?
I didn’t even burn the tree, neither kill Messmer and did all the parts of quest but the last part where two options (help or kill the NPCs) didn’t show up! That was upsetting👎🏻

Edit if you do hornset like he said you won’t get the bow you will get a duel near the hippo grace. Right door and up the stairs look to your right you will see a red and a yellow sign.
