listening to this review in my pros love them
FreshPrinceofTB same
how do they sound after so many years?
@@chasew.l.5808 I have been using for the last 4 years and working in excellent condition only the earpads are worn.
@@ajithappukuttan2640 i just got a pair like the excat same as the video but mine only works in one side of the ear when i put the cable in🤷🤷
I just bought these headphones 5 mins ago and I think I’m happy with my purchase.
beats pro is the most well made and well worth the price of all the beats product specially headphones
I have a pair I bought years ago when they were made by Monster. Extremely durable but are far from doing a good job of accurate audio reproduction unless your into Hip Hop or bass heavy dance music.
Bought a pair today for $130, certified refurbished from the company. Paid the $20 for one day shipping so I'm very excited to receive these.
Where did you find them certified refurbished and how were they?
Garo IOninetysix I found them on Amazon. They're great and are definitely real. They sound amazing and have a great build quality, came with no damage at all. I can't speak too much on durability as I use them strictly at home but I've flexed them a bit and they seem great at holding up overtime.
Great review my dude, I appreciate the complete honesty. I just upgraded to these from the old monster Solo HDs which I payed the retail 200 for. I just got my pros the other day for 200 as well through a connect. So I think at that price, that they are worth the upgrade. What do you think?
Yes, they are pretty good at that price.
I BOUGHT THEM TODAY.... NOW WACTHING VDEO
Do they have a serial number?
how good are these to play video games for the ps4, i play a lot of black ops 3. Also, do the mike work with the ps4?
Good review. I like the sound if these: very velvety. Not great isolation though.
can I get you a ricola cough drop?
Always enjoy your reviews - thx! I’m assuming these don’t have a built-in DAC, so how do they sound with, say, an iPhone compared to the Beats Studio 3 Wireless?
Bryan Thomas The Beats Pro gets louder and sounds a bit cleaner. But the Studio 3’s has a more balance frequency response however.
TheGamingAudiophile Oh, good to know. Thx for the reply! Keep rockin’!
i just bought a pare the bass is weak af idk why ppl are saying that the bass was heavy n thumping mt studio v2 headphones thump alot harder and sound much better and instrument separation is much better on the studio
I cannot find any technical information about this headphones... so this means that this is only a device made headphone... for instance the Beyerdynamics D770 comes in three different models: 32 OHMs, 80 OHMs and 250 OHMs. If I plug a 250 OHMs in a Iphone it will sound like crap, because the resistance is high, so it needs a specific headphone amplifier and then it will give enough power and you will get more clarity. The 32 OHMs is made for small devices and do not require an amplifier.
So I would need to know all the specs frequency range being just one of them... Can't find it.
Also a studio headphone is better when it is flat... if it boosts a frequency, mixing will be totally wrong. So this is made for the average consumer. It is not made for professionals.
I bought these due to the aluminum finish and the build quality and good for the gym. I was going to get the Bose but they were just to much plastic but still good headphones. The price is a little steep but I think it was well worth it.
Glad you like them.
Coming from today do you still think they sound nice compared to your newer favorites
One question, is there a correct left and right or is it reversible.
It's reversible.
can i listen to lil pump in this?
MarkTheDisser yes quality is the same so I guess it’ll be fine , if you know what I mean
Still wouldnt be good lmfao.
when the beats first came out I thought it was overrated extremely expensive trash and wonder why in the hell anyone would pay $299 for plastic just uncomfortable way to much base until they redesigned them that's when I gave them a shot and have been a big fan ever since. Are they the best? no, but they drastically improved throughout the years. Those Beats Pro's were the shiznit back in the days I mean everyone wanted those and if you had them you were a god among men. I could never afford them until later on and bought the Lil Wayne editions and those were some good headphones and than got the black Pro's two years ago before apple discontinued selling them. If anyone still has there beats pro's keep those bad boys they are highly sought after right now because they are rare to find and if you can find a brand new pair on eBay they can be expensive. But great video this brings back so many memories..
They are good headphones :) I use them to play guitar through my axe fx and it sounds lovely :) I bought them again recently for 280$ I gave my old monster ones to my brother.
That's so nice of you to give them to your brother
Just sold mine to my neighbour for £50, not worn them since i bought a pair of B&W P7's
nice review! very in depth and detailed. picking up a pair of the matte black model for christmas. currently 359 at apple plus a 40 percent discount. it will be well worth the money
I have a pair of the matte black and regular silver ones. I like the matte black ones more.
I just bought them , they are awesome.
how much did it cost
as i ve observe about beats pro they are almost of a similar sound compare to beats studio 2 and even better clarity and excitement ... ive just bought a pair last night at bestbuy just people are ashing these because of overprice but its even worth it than studio with almost the same price .. with superb built quality too that could last.. they are not bad as many people says they are exciting!!!
Vincent Foronda I have both pairs and I do see how the pros are better. I just wish the pros were more comfortable. If only I could find a softer cushion for them
Very accurate review
I agree they do have a lot of bass, but I actually don't mind it even with it an equalizer. I've also tried with then with an equalizer they still sounded cute. I think there Good as is. Just one thing, I agree they are stupidly expensive!
try beats mixr's they have more bass than this
+Johnny Jouha beats mixers are suppose to have the least about of bass out of the beats headphone line. (unless you use an equalizer)
+Jonathan Gonzalez i use eq
people just by it cuz by dr dre thats it
That is mostly true, but it's also because of the aesthetics and the curiosity for better sound.
i bought these a few yrs ago but now i can only hear sound from the side the jack is plugged in to. both sides work when plugged in, but not at the same time. help!
Had this before, and just hurts my head, nt comfortable at all. Using audio technica now
I subscribed and you should make a video showing how they look on you so we can see how they look on an actual person if your comfortable being on camera also you should make this a habit for all of your reviews cheers
i can't find good reviews, yours is the best i`ve find. between the pros o studio, which r the best in sound? noise cancellation in which?
Sennheiser hd 598 SE ftw
Only 4.5k subs, you def deserve more
1whippple1 Thanks.
I like this guy he tells the truth he's beats hater he's a good review tell her please make some more videos about headphones
My pro is just working one side where I plug the cable if I plug in right side only right side working if it is left only left what can I do to make both side work
This was a very detailed and granular review.
thanks a lot for this review. I am thinking about buying these in a couple of weeks. And I think I will after watching this vid
I recommend the Bowers & Wilkins P7 over these greatly.
Thanks. i might reconsider then.
Get anything but beats. These are maybe $150 value, just get the ATH-m50x or what Gamingaudiophile said.
I got Sennheiser Momentum and I am very happy so far with them ;-)
Michal Pravenec Good choice :)
These sound awesome in my surroundsound home theater system while listening to cds but not so good in my cell phone unless I have an Eq
just got them brutal sound
Great review!. I just bought a pair of the infinate black beats pro. I Bought them for 2 reasons. 1 I listen to music all day and wanted a solid pair of headphones and 2 I play bass guitar and wanted something I can connect to my amp and get clear cleans tones while I practice. How do u feel these headphones would hold up with that kind of use? I'm more worried about blowing out the speakers and of the risk of blowing a speaker would be higher with the beats as opposed to the audio techinca
Well the Beats are better built, but the Audio Technicas sound better and give you a more accurate sound. The speakers will be fine unless you are plugging them into a speaker amplifier and cranking the volume.
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks for the quick response bro. Much appreciated
Beats Pro vs. BeoPlay H8/H6 Vs Focal Spirit Professional Pro for mixing music
Beats Pro
Dante Myers Focal spirit.Beats are for stupid and brain washed people.
You surely should check them out.
Great Review!
How do these compare with momentum (over ears) btw, especially in bass and soundstage?
Thanks in advance. :D
The Beats Pros has a bigger soundstage with a more impactful bass that just sounds more vivid and dynamic. The Momentum still has one of the best midrange presentations that I've heard from a portable and edges out the Pros in that section. Overall the Pros sound more lively and engaging while the Momentum is more relaxed and smooth.
I have some beats Pro which I put hashed today. I've noticed if I turn the bass right up then they start fluffing. Is that right? I thought they were suppose to control themselves to the bass?
I wonder how they sound compared to my V modas m100's
What level of the bass would you prefer or recommend because I agree bass WAY too exaggerated.
Luis Silva I cut the bass areas from 50hz to 200hz by 5db.
Thanks man, you clearly know your stuff. I've got a question for you... I have to wear headphones for 2-3 hour stretches and need something comfortable. I also want it to sound great when listening to music but also need inline mic + volume controls so I can answer my phone when I'm working. It's the last part that's causing me so much trouble. Are there other good headphones that include the inline mic AND volume controls? Also, noise cancellation seems appealing to me so I can block out the distractions but I'm a little scared off by the fact that beats HAVE to be charged in order to use. Should I be so worried about that or does the battery last a pretty good while and make this pretty much a non-issue? Thanks for any advice you can offer!
The Beats Pro doesn't have noise cancellation. However the best sounding noise cancelling headphone I have heard by FAR are the Bose QC25's. They take the Beats Studio 2.0 and spit them out alive.
btw, I'm not in music industry so the EQ thing isn't really a high priority for me. I really just want to "hear what I'm missing"
TheGamingAudiophile wow, that was a quick reply. Noise isolation would probably be enough for me and the Bose is out of the price range since I can't find them refurbished. BTW, I tried them out at Best Buy and you're right... it's probably the best listening experience I've ever had, period... I want to spend around $150.
Audio Technica M50x.
why this headphone is not good for mobile aur laptop music
Which Headphone brand would you prefer then?
Because I was planning to buy this Beatspro today...... so which one would you prefer?
Depends on what you plan on using the headphone for. I still own and enjoy the Beats Pro.
I have the beats pro Monster Version does the non-Monster sound different ? i once heard somewhere that the non-Monster Version has a more balanced Bass than the one with Monster
Hopefully at some point you start getting sent models of headphones so you don't have to shell out so much money. You're one of the few reviewers who don't just go "They look good and they have punch!"
Yea, that would be great.
Buy Sennheiser instead, same price and you get something designed in Germany and built in Ireland rather than something from China which is cheap plastic Beats.
They are made out of metal..
+Paralyze you wouldnt know it from all the broken test models dangling from wires at Walmart. Who buys headphones from Walmart anyways lol
+DomesticatedApez Can't really compare though. Every sett of headphones will eventually brake down at Walmart
+Paralyze it was just the beats every single one was broken at the hinge whether it be solo mixr or studio. to be fair it's possible that someone purposely broke every one, or it could also be poor quality, probably both.
Style bro Style is what the average consumer care about the most ...
With the Apple version of this Beats Pro, do you get 2 wires 1 coiled and the other with mic inline? I had the monster version and I returned them because the clamping force was too tight. After 1 hour of using them I had to take them off. You said that these are more comfortable than the Monster Version, is that right?
Yes. Also, the non-monster version comes with a microphone cable as well.
Would you recommend Beats Pros or the latest Beats Studio Wireless? To help you answer my question more precisely, I'm a music major that does a lot of critical listening and mixing/editing/composing in music software like Logic Pro X and Finale. However, I really love the wireless feature of the Studio Wireless. Thanks.
Austin D'Agostino I would recommend the Focal Spirit Pro or Audio Technica MSR7 over the Beats products for critical listening and music composition.
TheGamingAudiophile Thanks for the recommendation. I wish Apple's website/retail stores sold the headphones that you recommended, because I have a $100 dollar gift card to the Apple Store that I would like to use on a good pair of headphones, and Apple's over-ear headphone selection isn't very good.
Apple has the B&W P7 which is a better option than Beats for mixing and composing music.
Hey man, I was just wondering if the bass is like people say it is. I'm talking like pounding bass. Thanks Bro and nice video by the way!
Yes, these have some seriously hard, pounding bass. =)
Thanks for the quick reply man, you really helped out. 1+ Sub
Mixr's have little bit more bass
what's the best beats headphones (regardless of price) in your opinion?
I'm thinking of getting pink pros or pink solo 2, or black solo 2 wireless.. tia
Studio wireless Solo 2 Wireless or Mixr's for bass
There trying to replicate a bass line that is in cars. Subwoofers in cars
Great Review, But I am confused which one to select JBL Everest Elite 700 or Beats Pro
The Elite 700.
Why elite is best then beats pro
Ajay Reddy Better sound quality and has wireless functionality.
Thanks
Is the Beats pro is not wireless?
Hey. Beats pro ir Vmoda m100?
By the way, What is the difference between Monster and Non Monster edition?
+Diogo Almeida The M-100 sounds more clean and clear. The differences is that one has the Monster logo and one doesn't.
Essentially much?
linearity
Great video, how did u get the bass reduction on the pros?
By using the hardware EQ in my FiiO X3.
good review what is an equalizer and how are they installed?
+Morgan Clark A equalizer is a tone control system designed to compensate for frequency distortion in audio systems. It can be either software or hardware.
I really like this review but my only question is (im stupid) how can i use a bass reduction on my smartphone
What music player app do you use?
TheGamingAudiophile its just titled "music" on my s4
I recommend using the app called "PlayerPro".
How do I make both sides play the same sound
so I am almost pretty sure on buying the audio technica ath m50x. I could consider another options if you think there are better headphones under 300 bucks ;)
The M50x is among the top for under $300. You can't go wrong with them.
TheGamingAudiophile m50x are better than the new Beats Studio?
Yes. However the wireless convenience of the beats is a worthy consideration.
If you want wireless, get the Sol Republic Tracks air. The wireless beats' quality is terrible and the bass is overpowered as per the usual. Tracks air are a far better choice.
Joshua Smith I had one of them, just sold, he squeezed very ear with 30-40 minutes of use, and it gets very ugly head, spare unnecessary space on the side of the head. I want the New Studio wireless because the sound quality is much longer and he covered the ear without hurting the ear cartilage, understand?
Nice review I hope u consider a return to gears bro I miss ur execution vids
Thanks and I will be on Gears 4 and Halo 5.
worth 90 dollars that I can get them for?
Hello
I’m new into all this headphones world and I happen to own a pair of this Beats pro and I do have a question
What is the frequency response of this headphones?
I’m curious if it’s highest frequency can go over 25,000Hz
I do hope you can help me with this information
Thanks
xytrax666 Frequency response really doesn’t matter. We can only hear from 20Hz to 20KHz.
TheGamingAudiophile thanks for the info.
Pretty nice oke so are the aurvana live 2 beautiful headphone.
Are these open or closed
Hey I'm a large bass fan, like usually when it comes to music I listen to more of the bass and beat. so do u think these headphones Will fit my needs when it comes to music?
Yes.
***** You might just like the Beats Pro in its stock form.
+deedos888 try Beats Mixr's and Pros but Mixr's have more bass than pros
Im wondering whether the pro sounds better when comparing with the studio wireless and the executive..
The Pros sound better than those two, but they're still quite mediocre when compared to headphones from Sennheiser, Focal, etc... in similar price range.
Thx for replying.. appreciate ur good videos.. Really hope u would review the B&O H6 :)
I should start a donation fund. These are headphones that I buy out of my pocket. =)
Last but not least, i want to ask whether the monster 24k sounds better than the pros?
They sound similar, the 24k's sound more open and clearer, but the Pro's sound more tight and focused.
you nailed it... damn f good review...
Yo dude just watched it what's the difference between monster versions and standard beats pros and around £170 are they worth it?
They are the same, just different brandings.
worth of every pound ;)
So how do equalise as you speak of? On the phone App?
This of the Sony MDR 1RNC?????
Do the beats pro come wireless?
No.
Could you recommend headphones to me ? I like to listen to music with much bass but otherwise very much relaxed and smooth music , have no idea which ones to buy
Anna Stein Bowers & Wilkins P7.
Thanks ! :) greatings from germany
Anna Stein Sony MDR 1A
Pros ftw
Hey, what would be a good budget equalizer to use on these headphones?
I use the one on my FiiO X3 portable media player.
So these hurt your ears after a while?
Cesar Rivera Yes.
I like this guy.......
Which is better for sound quality the m50x or beats pro?
M50x.
Thanks
How much did it cost
i would never pay for hundread for headphones but a phone i will
John Hogue so it'll be obsolete in some time.
can you use any aux cord for these? i don't have the original beats cord but a random one from other headphones
Yes.
hi ,which sounds better between ath m50 and the beats pros and which has more clarity.
Out of the box, the M50x is superior. When EQ'd to reduce the bass, the pros are quite good delivering a more engaging and lively sound, but the M50x is still more natural and resolving.
TheGamingAudiophile thanks a lot.then i guess ill be getting the m50x's.
Beats pro or bose qc25? Sound quality wise
QC25.
QC25 for soundquality and bad bass and Beats Pros for ok soundquality and heavy and deep bass
Wich one is thé vert tout go with these , the new studio or v moda m100
M-100 for value. Studio for convenience.
Wich one are the best these , the new studio or v moda m100
M-100 for value. Studio for convenience.
Good, or average at best!
Here we go with the bass you can turn it down bunch of robots What's every one talking about I think every thing needs bass. I think it's not the sound it's your trying to hate on a person/culture. You could always adjust the bass come on . Atleast you have the option as much or little bass you won't da fuk . Hahha from the dawn of earphones you always adjust sound people always try to talk shit and hate beats by Dre .
Does this headphone have a built-in microphone?
Yes
@@athuldas2634 so I dont need to buy a cable with microphone anymore? I also wont need to buy a microphone attachment?
Is the bass better than te studios 2.0?
Yes,I own both of them.
What do you think about the parrot zik 2.0
They seem pretty cool, I will check them out.
Would you suggest these or Sony Extra Bass MDRXB950BT headphones?
These
TheGamingAudiophile what app did you use to decrease the bass?
Hector 420 The built in EQ on my iPhone.
beats pro no doubt... better overall
thank you. I bought the Pros and they're great.
these headphones are amazing dont listen to the haters they just wish they had them
Hell no!Bose are 69000000000000001x better!
Niko&JoshBobic ikr
you said in the vid that the base ist shit and good wtf
I want heavy bass is this good for me
+Napaleon Nguyen Hahahahahaha im dying :DDDDDDDD Bose don't have bass at all but have good soundquality but beats have wayyyyy better bass
i got u
Who's watching this with the pros? 😂, not going to lie they are expensive and people say there bad or shit but they are generally good headphones, back to the shit part that people say is because they can't afford them.
