Holy. Shit. I enjoyed that so much more than I thought I was going to. The Toriel slaughterhouse was initially a slight turn-off for me, but the characterization for Sans and Papyrus was INCREDIBLY GOOD. Like, I NEVER expected it to be that good. I love the goofs that remained present, while also putting it in a darker setting. It's hard to find any Underfell interpretations with good characterization--this certainly wasn't that. This wasn't just taking Undertale and making it incredibly edgy to make it "Underfell," this was evidently well thought-out and I'm so happy I watched this. Keep going strong!

The only thing I found a bit weird was Toriel's sudden change into classic Toriel and having just happened to make a pie for you. I think it would've made more sense if she came to her senses and grew to care about you, but not have a sudden snap of "What have I done?"
Yeah honestly, I think there could've been more dialogue during the fight or at least have a bit more interaction as Frisk and Flowey were exploring the ruins to add a bit more character to Toriel.
The Player messed with the original Undertale game back at part 1. Added some kind of "Evil Mode" thing if you looked hard enough, which most likely corrupted the characters, with the characters having a Black and Red color scheme to symbolize this corruption. However, if you go through a Pacifist run, it reminds the monsters of the fact that the "Kill or Be Killed" mentality they adopted due to the Player messing with everything is kinda stupid, which brings back who they are, representing how they're color scheme is transformed from black and red to their normal colors.

I absolutely LOVE how papyrus doesn't like being called "boss" literally every other adaptation of this makes papyrus an abusive prick but I feel like that does both sans and papyrus's characters disjustice. even sans, canonically, will kill if it is necessary. he's menacing, when he wants or needs to be. and it 100% wouldn't be any different here. thank you for not being predictable. its such a breath of fresh air

I love the original Undertale but there's something about Underfell and this take on it that really pulls me in. Stories that involve having bad guys turn over a new leaf always get to me, and seeing Flowey being like this also makes me happy. I hope that there'd be a full Underfell game eventually, without a doubt I'd play it start to end.
as much as i love this underfell it would NOT work if you havent met these character in Undertale before because there so much context needed for this story to even hit as hard if Toby were to release this as his major first game then this would be death on arrival.
This is really amazing, Toriel from this Underfell seems a lot more realistic than the Demo version. The way that Frisk heals and gets advice from Flowey is a good addition as well. Sans scared me when he jumped in and almost slaughtered Frisk. I can't wait to see the traps Papyrus has set up and later down the line, the fight with Undyne. Keep up the good work.
I feel if it is then it would be an unintentional or one done out of them trying to do some good but you are unintentionally blocking what they are trying to do. Maybe Determination related.
Characterization here genuinely seems well-done, not just "Edgy UNDERTALE", but characters deteriorating because of the king's greed. They still necessarily are a glimpse of who they are in UNDERTALE, but require the extra step.

This was so worth the wait! I love how Papyrus was handled too, especially how he insists that Sans does not call him "Boss"! Everything was so well-done! I could ramble on, but the whole animation speaks for itself! EDIT: Nice to see Captain Waterpath contributed to this, too!
I like the concept of the monsters being to change back into their Undertale selves, almost as if the Underfell versions are some sort of demonic forms of themselves. This is one of my favourite iterations of Underfell yet, it is so creative!
In the first episode, The Player DID add like an EVIL MODE to Undertale, which corrupted all the monsters. It's only when you go through a Pacifist Run that they change backm

This was so worth the wait! I love how Papyrus was handled too, especially how he insists that Sans does not call him "Boss"! Everything was so well-done! I could ramble on, but the whole animation speaks for itself!

I like the concept of the monsters being to change back into their Undertale selves, almost as if the Underfell versions are some sort of demonic forms of themselves. This is one of my favourite iterations of Underfell yet, it is so creative!
In the first episode, The Player DID add like an EVIL MODE to Undertale, which corrupted all the monsters. It's only when you go through a Pacifist Run that they change backm

I like these Underfell characters a lot because they all don’t wear black or red. But instead have a dark and sinister appearance. I hope there are more characters like them!

Just the simple fact that you make your series actually scary and threatening but still with character and charm instead of just being edgy is what makes it amazing!
I like the detail that when you spare toriel several times the icon of Florey in the items get angry 4:59
