    I like that you started off by giving credit to the artist who inspired this. lovely and simple tutorial, thank you!

      He’s really funny! He’s a graphic designer for a church in Dallas! I went to a conference there and he did a panel.

    one important tip: fill the overlay layer with 50% gray (#808080) instead of black before applying noise. That way the colors underneath are unchanged yet it creates noise.

    Finally someone who generates the texture instead of editing it from an image. Thank you for the tutorial!

    If you want to make the similar shape he made in his grid, you can play around with the liquify tool or use the layer mask tool :)

    When I select my settings for gaussian blur and click okay, the edges of my rectangle turn white and I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions, anyone?

    Can someone explain to me please why was it necessary to create so many layers? couldn't we apply all the effects to just one layer and achieve the same result? What confuses me the most is this black layer... Thanks in advance for someone cool who explains it to me!

    • @Moodboard39
      @Moodboard39 2 года назад +1

      Creating layers is good practice in case you need to edit... Or make change. If you don't, you going to have to undo many times. So creating layers saves your alot if time.
