No matter who you are, you always have a runny nose and tears in eyes after eating any kind of spice food. That's just how it goes
I think he meant to use the word tolerance. Because red eyes, tearing up are all reactions to the spices and he does have it. Reaction and tolerance aren't the same, I think. Him being able to finish the spices without break, keeping his composure,not reaching for milk are all pointing to high tolerance. I could tolerate to a certain level of spices without drowning my mouth in milk or water, but I would still tear up having a whiff of it or putting them into my mouth.

As a Mexican I can say that this guy is a scam, since here it is well known that the bigger the chili the less itchy and this guy is literally using things like the poblano pepper that practically do not itch (even in my state Puebla they usually eat that chili stuffed with fruit and meat lol)

Well, i can feel the thing after the video he's doing, not august. On a side note. My partner once took me out to a Chinese buffet, and then shocked me by eating the shrimp and crawdads whole. I tried to explain to him that you shouldn't eat the shells, and that he was eating crawfish guts, but he would have none of it. I think he just got embarrassed for being called out, because he stopped doing that later on. We're still together, he's just a bit stupid.

To be fair, the shells of shrimp and crawfish are actually edible. It's just that the texture can make it a little uncomfortable to eat, so it can be fried to perfection. Your boyfriend shouldn't be embarrassed about the way he eats seafood, but your feelings matter just as much as his, so he should stop eating the shells and guts if you feel uncomfortable about it, the same way someone's boyfriend should change their habits if they eat donuts with too much sugar. With that said, name-calling is not a very good idea either.

i gotta give it to him tho, the buldak sauce is very spicy. there are many who can handle it, but lots who can’t. i can handle spice quite well, so i thought this would be the same story, but even the regular 2x spicy sauce from the red noodle pack of the buldak ramen made my entire mouth feel so painful. it wasn’t even like it was hot, it was just incredibly painful and hard to calm it down.
