So far, I've tried UM MEST MK1, PENON FAN3, and BGVP DMA & Phantom. I like bone conduction drivers when implemented well. It adds a nice sense of space that is missing without the BCD's. I do find that some implementations can make the presentation overly bright. So as with most things in this hobby, it all comes down to tuning!
@@balzinderchhabra8804 I haven't heard Hype 4. The only Thieaudio IEM I own are the OG Oracle. For DMA vs FAN3, DMA has a more v-shaped signature with boosted bass that's nicely balanced between sub and mid bass which helps them hit hard when needed, mids are neutral, upper mids and lower treble are boosted with a propensity to boost sibilance (d, s, and t), and there's a nice soundstage with good separation. To get the best out of them, I used narrow to medium bore tips and a warm source to warm up the mids, decrease the upper mid and lower treble boost, and decrease sibilance. DMA is also sensitive to source, and I found it responding well to a good source with increased bass, decreased sibilance, and increased soundstage and separation. I would've cable rolled, but I don't own alternate MMCX cables. FAN3 is more mid-centric but still has very nice bass, treble, and soundstge. Due to the more mid-centric sound, separation isn't as clear as the more v-shaped DMA. I didn't have to play around with FAN3 to get it tuned the way I wanted which was nice. FAN3 also scales with cable and source. If I were picking between them, I'd go for FAN3 because I prefer warmer mids, can't take sibilance, prefer a warmer sound, FAN3 shells are more comfortable, and I prefer 2-pin connectors so I can use my upgrade cables. Hope that helps! And vs other hybrids I own in the same general price and above, the bone conductors add special sauce to the soundstage and separation. FAN3 lets you hear the difference with the bone conductor on/off switch. It really does make a noticeable difference.

being able to see the bone conduction driver in the shell is really cool! i hope that in the future, bc drivers get included in the 400$-ish iems, similiar to how planar drivers started at a very high price point and nowdays u can get a budget iem with a good implementation of the driver.
Great vid! Really interested to see what bone conduction does to change the sound. My favs right now are the original Oracles and I’ve been wanting to try more iems from Thieaudio!
I’m so excited to see that your channel has reached 4K subscribers! That’s a huge milestone, and it’s well-deserved. Your reviews are always informative and enjoyable to watch. I especially appreciate your giveaway. I’ve been curious about these bone conduction driver types of IEM for a while now, I’m excited to learn more and try it by myself.
Haven’t heard bone conductor iem's before but loved hearing your comparison with the Prestige Ltd as that is another iem I have been interested in. Sounds like the Origin's would be an excellent iem to own.
I'm a fan and user of BC for its specific usage. I'm a fan and user of IEMs for its amazing experience in audio for the many music genre choices. I am genuinely interested in the combination of this technology and how it holds up to the many IEM formats such as planar magnetics (my current IEM). Your review was very concise and to the point. I appreciate you.
Never had the chance to try a bone conducting iem but sounds like a very innovating idea. Great video, and hopefully whoever is the winner enjoy it to the fullest! 😊
Welcome back from your busy trip. Another awesome IEM review. As for my thoughts for the "Bone Conductor". Guess it is something new for IEMs to increase the base and treble from the different types of music we listen to. As long it is not too over powering it will be a great addition sound feedback for listening to songs with awesome base and treble. Cannot wait to see how much more improvement can BCD in IEMs grow in the near future.
I've never tried BCD iems before, I've heard great things about this set though. Love the faceplates too. Thanks for the super detailed review as always! Appreciate that you take detailed notes; and the way you describe the bass and the soundstage makes me super curious!
Thanks for the amazing review ❤ I haven’t had the chance to try a bone conductor driver but I think it would be an amazing implementation since I do love bass that is clean and I think that the overall driver configuration of the origin just makes so much sense, I really would love to get one 😅
I had the Raptgo Hook-X for a while and it was advertised as having bone conduction when it was released. It was an interesting planar iem with nice low end. If it doesnt have it, I'm interested in trying these.
i've never tried a bone conductor iem/driver before. i'm sure it must perform great with thieaudio's implementation. thanks for the review! this one looks as good as all the other thieaudio iems
Quite intriguing, this set! I have never experienced a bone conduction driver, but hope to one day. I feel like the bone conduction driver would add more depth to the overall sound and bring more realism. Seems like a versatile set with the ability to play back many different genres beautifully. Thank you for the fantastic review!
Thanks for the review Joyce! I was looking for a review for this iem. The origin was available at the canjam I attended; however, I wasn't able to try it 😔. Been hearing alot of news about bone conductor headphones and want to experience it eventually.
I've not tried a bone conduction driver before so I am very interested in experiencing one. Thanks for the comparison with the Prestige LTD as is also on my shortlist, though being easier to drive and having more bass has definitely pushed me more toward the Origin. Thanks for the review.
Great review. I would really like to try a set but it's really outside my price range. I wonder if having bone conductors might affect longevity of the iems due to vibrations but I guess time will tell.
From your review and thieaudio's website description, I really feel that the bone conductor was a nice implementation to this tuning. I wish I was fortunate enough to try these or even own them since I do not have an iem with a BC so that would be a really good set for me if I could win it :)) I haven't been able to find a set with a BC to demo yet so I am also really curious about how BCs actually sound in an iem. Thanks for the review Joyce!
To be honest, this is the first time and rarely heard about bone conduction technology, it brings a new technical something complementary between various different drivers, a very good thing that allows manufacturers to try it in their IEM lines
BC seems pretty awesome to me. It's still new but the whole idea behind it is surely interesting. Nice vibration in my ear while listening music. Btw, great video, thank you for your review.
Looks like a great set that I would love to listen to. I have never heard an iem with a BC, but it seems to be a nice addition to any bass focused iem.
This is the first time I heard about Bone Conductor Driver. It’s really interesting and I hope to find a chance to try it soon. Thanks for the nice review.
Great review! I feel like more bassy iems in the sub-1k price range will start to use the BCD, personally I find this technology super interesting and can't wait to try a set that has it.
Nice joyce looking good as always. I think this one having BC is a really good addition, especially since it is less than 1k usd retail price. Hoping to win this one Joyce, I appreciate the review video as always ❤
Nice review Joyce, congrats on your 4K subs🎉 So far I really love how bone conduction drivers in IEM are being implemented, for example in BQEYZ Wind the bass sound satisfying, that makes me curious how it sounds in high end IEM like Thieaudio Origin.
I would love to have a listen at these iems. I’ve heard so much good things about bone conduction iems but they are all sadly out of my budget. Great video as always ❤
So, I’ve been reading up on the ThieAudio Origin, and I gotta say, the bone conductor driver sounds pretty wild. They’ve got this 11mm bone conductor driver that’s supposed to boost the midrange and lower treble, giving you this tactile feel that’s kinda like feeling the music, not just hearing it. People are saying it makes the soundstage feel way wider and more immersive. From what I’ve seen, the low end is punchy and the mids are super rich and sweet. Seems like it’s great for all kinds of music, whether you’re into metal or jazz. Plus, the design looks pretty comfy for long listening sessions. I'd be stoked to try one!
I've never tried any bone conduction driver before, but I had already seen some reviews of this type of driver in sports earphones (which were not very positive), but I believe that in hybrid iems they can have a good result
In my opinion, based on your impressions of the bone conductor driver, it seems like they would be insane for gaming. I notice that my over ear's usually have better soundstage and my iems usually have better imaging, but the bone conductor might be a game changer for gaming if it is able to match an over ear's soundstage. Thanks for the opportunity to own one!
How i feel about the bc driver? Well i never experienced music on any bc driver nor an iem, it's an interesting iem here, u mentioned that this bc driver helping in the mids on betterment of the soundstage, & the soundstage here is wide immersive -yeah that i want, well detailed explanation & definitely it's a jackpot that i wanna win!
I have yet to personally experience bone conduction drivers, but I’ve been following the discourse surrounding them with interest. While some enthusiasts praise their distinct sound and heightened situational awareness, others express reservations regarding their overall audio fidelity compared to conventional IEMs. I am intrigued by the potential benefits they may offer and look forward to the opportunity to evaluate them firsthand.
I think the bone conductor technology sounds super interesting. I couldn't experience it in person yet, but I hope to find a chance to try it soon. Thanks for the video - keep up the good work! :)
I tried Unique Melody Mest Mk.II with bone conduction drivers and they're cool. The bone conduction driver provides a more open soundstage and a stronger bass response. It's a great option for those who want a different listening experience.
Your best review yet. Nice work. I think all bone conduction iems should include a switch like the Penon Fan 3 so the market can learn what changes the BC Driver is bringing to the sound. The origin looks like a great option in the current landscape. Curious as to how it compares with the Zempire
Bone conductors allow users to feel that visceral bass and works great for certain bass heavy genres. I and excited how this tch evolves further in the next few years to enhance our audio experience
I’ve never tried bone conduction drivers in IEMs, but I’ve been really curious about them. It seems counterintuitive that they would work without a custom fit, but everyone seems to love them. Maybe it’s time to give them a shot and see what the hype is about!
I've known BC but never had the luck to try them. Looking at your review, BC plays a unique role and was tastefully done by THIEAUDIO. Origin aside, Prestige LTD looks stunningly beautiful damn!!!
i've never try bone conductor in iems before (and probably never, because it's way out of my leauge)...but from some impressions i've read and hear online that's must be quite good...full range sounding mids without feeling intense is definetely something good
It's pretty cool to be able to listen to your favorite songs while still being aware of your surroundings. While the sound quality might not be as rich and detailed as traditional headphones, the freedom and convenience they offer is unbeatable. Also, I think they're pretty comfortable compared to iems that are constantly stuck inside you ear.
Aftershokz OpenRun was the first headphones that i tried to experience how bone conduction technology work at that time and it was quite surprising, the music somehow feels like playing inside my head when the headphones actually sit outside my ear. Because of that this Thieaudio Origin really make me curious how does the bone conduction inside in ear monitor will perform and felt? hope i can have it to accompany my day. Thank You For the good Review Joyce 😊
Interested to try this IEM and compare to my mest2, which also has bone conductor. Regarding implementation, have to see what frequency range the bone conductor activates to see how it adds to the audio experience, such as rumbly bass or improve the perception of soundstage.
Looks so good. Very curious about bone conductor iem... (of course very pricey that I cannot afford). Seems like bass is good... Bone conductor emulates headphone-like stage? Thats great!! Ty for the review. Loved the factory tour. Congrats on more subs!!
I think that if you can convince Thieaudio to put the BC driver in their Prestige LTD model and have the same tuning, they would have the best IEM ever released.
Never had a chance to listen with bone conduction. Anything science sounding that I’ve heard would be the bio-cellulose diaphragm which I liked (from the Xenns Tea Pro based on your review). Hopefully I may have a chance to experience an IEM with bone conduction technology. As always, I enjoyed your review and glad you had a chance to experience the bone conduction tech!
I'd heard BC doesn't do a lot, but after picking up a set - like others have said, it really does impact the space and sense of layering/positioning. I've seen others compare it to dolby, but that's really not quite it. It kind of has a similar spatial effect, but it's more subtle/natural and doesn't really impact the timbre of the music in that way. Dolby wasn't my fav, but using my old iems after BC feels a little flat. I still love them, but it takes time to readjust. I really look forward to hearing other BC drivers, and seeing how the tech changes and is utilized over time.
I tried BCD IEMs for the first time during Canjam. I think that they’re game changing because of the tactile feedback they give especially with bass vibrations.
I would also recommend checking out the Tansio Mirai shock, it has 2 BC drivers and adjustable bass and treble. It's not as pretty as something like the origin but it's cheaper and can be made into many different tunings which could be better for some people!
I'm really curious about these BC drivers. What do you think about the Penon Fan 3 vs the BGVP DMA? How do they compare to something like the Hype 4?

Wow! Would really love to try one of these bone conductor IEMs. Also great to see a woman in this space. Keep up the good work.👍
I really didnt knew much about bone conductor before coming to your video! Thanks for the insight! Gl Everyone!
Super cool seeing behind the scenes on making IEMs and what a great set this looks to be! Thank you for the great review :)
Never had or tried bone conduction IEMs. Kind of over my budget but I kind of trust ThieAudio after I bought and used Hype 4.
Love my Hype 4, it definitely has that sound I have been looking for so I think I'm going to save for the origin.
I'm a fan and user of BC for its specific usage. I'm a fan and user of IEMs for its amazing experience in audio for the many music genre choices. Thanks for the review. I'm trying to decide between this one and the Thieaudio Oracle Mk3. Collecting as many opinions as possible. :-)
Thank you for the another great review Joyce, this IEM sounds quite interesting, pity is definitely outside my budget.
Love how they're implementing new stuff in comparatively more accessible IEMs. Great review, Joyce!
Ordered this set Tuesday. Very excited to try the bone conduction driver. Thanks for your review!

Nice Review Joyce! I've heard Good things about Bone Conduction drivers but I've only heard Dynamic Driver IEMS so there's that.
Hey Joyce, nice review. I hope you continue to get more subscribers. The Origin is fantastic. Good luck everyone with the giveaway.
It's interesting to see more companies implement bone conduction drivers. I still haven't tried one, but I'd like to at some point.
I've never tried BCD iems before, I've heard great things about this set though.
Love the faceplates too.

Great review! This looks like a interesting set! I can't wait to demo this out 😍
Love your videos, was looking into buying this and might do so after watching :)
i've never tried a bone conductor iem/driver before. i'm sure it must perform great with thieaudio's implementation. thanks for the review! this one looks as good as all the other thieaudio iems

Very nice review, I’ve always been interested in bc and how it changes the physical feel of the music.
Looks like a great set that I would love to listen to. I have never heard an iem with a BC, but it seems to be a nice addition to any bass focused iem.
Thanks for putting out such quality videos. Congrats on your growth!
Great review, as always. That bone conduction stuff seems interesting. I hope to try it some time.
Thank you for this review. Was looking for more reviews for this model
This is the first time I heard about Bone Conductor Driver. It’s really interesting and I hope to find a chance to try it soon. Thanks for the nice review.

tested the shokz bone conduction fitness headset and was amazed at the tech, really cool to see it used in this

I've never tried any bone conduction driver before, but I had already seen some reviews of this type of driver in sports earphones (which were not very positive), but I believe that in hybrid iems they can have a good result
First time hearing of bone conduction drivers. Very interested and love the review.
Thanks for following up with Thieaudio and reviewing this recent model.
never tried bone conductor but I hear the bass is very good and would love to try/own one.
Love the channel! Love the future use of BCD in all IEM's.
I think it's great to have bone conduction drivers in IEMs. It's given me a new perspective as a basshead who loves the deep rumble they create.
I tried the Thieaudio's Origin bone conduction driver, those iems really sounded great with pop and rock as well. The bass can really be felt.
Awesome review, would be keen to compare this with some of the UM stuff with bone conduction drives some day
In my opinion, based on your impressions of the bone conductor driver, it seems like they would be insane for gaming. Nice to see it priced below even the Hype 10s with such a config. The cable also looks great!!
As a well as being a great new reviewer, Joyce is so beautiful ❤❤❤
I have yet to personally experience bone conduction drivers, but I’ve been following the discourse surrounding them with interest. I tried Unique Melody Mest Mk.II with bone conduction drivers and they're cool. The bone conduction driver provides a more open soundstage and a stronger bass response. It's a great option for those who want a different listening experience.
Thanks for your in-depth review!
Very nice Review Joyce. Ian new to your channel and will definitely follow you!! Loved your review of the Tea pro.
I've never tried a bone conductor driver IEM before but it sounds like an interesting concept to try out!
Your best review yet. Nice work.
I think all bone conduction iems should include a switch like the Penon Fan 3 so the market can learn what changes the BC Driver is bringing to the sound.
The origin looks like a great option in the current landscape. Curious as to how it compares with the Zempire
Thanks Joyce. Great looking set.
I've never had the opportunity to use IEMs anything like these. I imagine the fullness of the sounds coming from these is amazing.
I am hearing BCD IEM's first time. I want to get one and try it out ASAP. Well made video by the way. I am waiting for new one.
Woooo i wanted the Prestige ltd to be my first end games, but i guess that will have go to the Origins!!! Awesome video cleared it up for me.
I'm new in this channel, think your reviews are detailed and quite interesting. Thankyou.

That's really a very good technology. It's not just a vibration for the eardrum, it's also for the surrounding inner ear.
Looks Good and the sound might be unique 👌🏻 thanks for the giveaway ❤️
I've known BC but never had the luck to try them. Looking at your review, BC plays a unique role and was tastefully done by THIEAUDIO. Origin aside, Prestige LTD looks stunningly beautiful damn!!!

I've had the BQEYZ Wind, Raptgo Hook, MEST MK1 & MK2. Bone conduction absolutely RULES. Would love the Origin 🎉
BCD is always interesting but hard to implement, tried it on cheaper sets but sometimes really hard to feel it's 'impact'. nice review ;3
Woah this is my first time seeing a bone conductor driver on an iem, crazy but looks great. Bass might hit differently and that's what I like.
Seeing the BC driver through the shell is neat. I'm enjoying all the nice high end bassy IEMs coming out as of late.
Absolutely gorgeous shell. Nice to see the bone conductor driver in a set at this price range
Aftershokz OpenRun was the first headphones that i tried to experience how bone conduction technology work at that time and it was quite surprising, the music somehow feels like playing inside my head when the headphones actually sit outside my ear. Bone conductor requires perfect fit in my experience, I’ve only tried it on a budget IEM aka quintet but it was pretty good!
Nice review. Thanks for sharing your impressions 🙂
Would be really nice to hear you to compare it to the Tangzu Bajie and how they different... Lovely review BTW...
love the bcd technology especially if its well-implemented like in the macbeth or the mest

Dolby wasn't my fav, but using my old iems after BC feels a little flat. I still love them, but it takes time to readjust. I really look forward to hearing other BC drivers, and seeing how the tech changes and is utilized over time.
Never tried a bone conduction IEM .. perhaps one day I can trie one of these.
I tried BCD IEMs for the first time during Canjam. I think that they’re game changing because of the tactile feedback they give especially with bass vibrations.
First time hearing about BC drivers. Was only aware of headphone ones like from Shokz, very interesting tho. 💯
I would also recommend checking out the Tansio Mirai shock, it has 2 BC drivers and adjustable bass and treble. It's not as pretty as something like the origin but it's cheaper and can be made into many different tunings which could be better for some people!
These are an awesome tuning, I love bone conductors in the first place and I think this is an awesome rendition of it.
