Thanks Keith. Most people watch retirement videos for that reason only so I started the retirement corner strictly for that. This is more free wheeling about anything that hits me at the time. Not as popular but just as much if not more fun to do. Steve
Thanks. Still figuring the mobile stuff out. Should enjoy it once I get a little more comfortable with it. The garden is doing well this year. It's just something I've just about always done. It wouldn't feed us but it's fun to fool around with. Thanks. Steve
I retired 3 months ago at 56 and I have been busy the last few days working on my old RV that I keep at the campground. I declared today a "recovery day" after working on plumbing and electrical stuff for the last few days. (I added a 120v electric heating element to my RV's propane hot water heater to save $ on propane since I am paying for electric anyway). I can't do anything without skinning up my knuckles, and crawling around on my hands and knees took a toll. So today I am going to finish my coffee and then go sit at the campground and just recover. BTW, I told you I was retired for just a week when my 87 year old mother had emergency heart bypass surgery. She is doing great. Whether you recover from something like that is probably 90% mental will. Keep that in mind.
Same here. Friday was a "Zero day" for me and by Saturday I was pretty much back to normal. I don't seem to recover as fast as I did back in the day. I do remember you mentioning your mom having surgery. I'm glad to hear things are going well for her now and her recovery was good. A good mindset or mental will can make a huge difference in life. Great comment. Thanks.
Thanks, Steve; great video. If you woke up with amnesia without looking in a mirror, how old would you guess yourself to be? For me, some days younger, and some days are feeling like Methusala.😀
8- 1 x 6 x 6 treated boards Lowes $4.98 each. need a couple extra if you want the top rail. Screw them into 4 x 4's and your done. 6ft long x 2ft wide. Amazon for the grow bags. Came ten in a pack. Atleast 5gal. for squash. You got my email if you want a hand. Steve
Hey Bill. Glad to hear from you on here. Not sure what age it is but every once in awhile I'll do something that reminds me I'm no longer 25. When that happens I could not imagine what I'll feel like at 75 or 80. Hope to make it but I'll probably be a broke down mess. Thanks and take care. Steve
I enjoy all your videos!!!

@@stevescorner2702 I enjoy all videos you make!!! I was going Feb but back out!
Yeaaaaah Doc. Thanks for sharing your corner. I hope those legs feel better soon. Maybe a glass of tea will help?
A glass of tea sure couldn't hurt. Much better on Saturday. Thanks. Steve
I enjoyed your mobile video! You have a very nice garden!

The mobile video was awesome! I appreciate seeing your corner!
Dennis
Thanks Dennis. They should be fun once I get the hang of things. Steve
As I get older, my mind still identifies as 40, but my body is the realist! 😂
Same here. These days it dosen't take much for my body to bring me back to reality. Steve

Hey there…yeah at 62 I don’t do many ladders anymore…hazard pay!
Dennis
Yeah my ladder days are just about behind me. Didn't realize how hard they were to use when I was younger. Steve

That's a good one. Sometimes I wake the wife up with all the cracking and popping my joints make when getting out of bed.😁 Steve
The mobile was fine, no problem. I need some of those soil sacks and some raised beds, can you recommend a builder ?

All my life people say to me” what you going to do when you get my age”. Well I’m 61. What is that damn age!

See if you can get some older stories from the elders you work for if they will agree.
That's in the plan. Some of them are real cards. I enjoy just talking and listening to them. Thanks. Steve
