Didn't work. PC wasn't even in secure boot mode to begin with but it didn't work all the same. Did a double check and the boot settings are the same as when I changed them to your instructions but they do not work. Any other information? Seen this same fix listed Everywhere but no one seems to go further if it doesn't work.

try to re insert or replaced the SATA cable that connects to hard drive to the motherboard. If you have this issue it may be a good place to check. Open up your laptop and see if the cable is damaged. Before you order the part make sure you have the right part number. or try to measure the cmos battery when it is below 3v then consider to replace it.

I toggled back to the original enabled boot setting, saved it and restarted. It worked!

Just disable the secure boot and select OS selection Mode to CSM and UEFI OS.
