For me personally, even after seeing your ideas, it's kinda difficult to talk about reasons people want to be independent, or get privacy, or be away from family.... the most straightforward answer, that comes out of statistics (imho) would be - more people want to study abroad (or get job assignments) thus end up living alone on their own. Would be very interested to hear from you, why would that not be a good response, obviously if written in a good structure. Thanks!

Cities tend to have a high influx of people moving in for better jobs and education, as they are the centers of advancement. These people are usually focused on to start their life in the new place as fast as possible so that they can achieve their final goal. However, due to the lack of platforms for finding a suitable housemate in an unfamiliar place, most people usually end up living alone. There are advantages to living alone, which primarily includes privacy, independence, and drama-free life. After coming home from a stressful day, nobody likes to get taught as to when to close the bathroom doors, how high should be the TV volume, and how to do the dishes properly. So, living alone seems to be the best option. However, there are some disadvantages which come with living alone. As a single house owner, one has to pay for electricity, gas, trash, rent, etc. on his own, which tends to be more expensive than sharing a place. Also, sometimes, it is nice to have in-person conversations to share things about daily lives to relieve mental stress. They see living with others as a restriction to their independence in decision making and choices. Most people for instance, prefer in deciding when to sleep, where to travel to without any interference from others.

This development of living in solitude helps people to be responsible for their own decisions and actions. Individuals become more away of the consequences of their decisions or actions on others and any future repercussion on them . It is observed that majority of people living in solitude turn to be financially independence than people who cohabit with others.

More and more people are choosing to live by themselves these days. People are choosing this trend to stay focused in their endeavour. In my opinion, benefits of living alone such as less distraction and minimal chances of involving in ill habits are far more superior.
One of the biggest reason of staying alone is people wants to remain focused in their life. Due to increase demand of staying ahead in competition in life, many people are choosing to give more attention to their job. Having a friend in the house, for instance, can create a distraction for them. Therefore, people choosing to live alone to concentrate better in their day to day work.
This trend can be advantageous for the individual in terms of personal growth. Living alone can help person to stay motivated in their work and there are less chances of them getting involved in bad habits like late night parties, smoking and drinking. For example, studies have shown seventy percent people gets involved in bad habits if their roommates are doing it. Thus, it is clear that living alone can help an individual growth in many ways.
In conclusion, singular accommodation has become a common practice in many cities. Staying focused in their work is the main reason of this trend and in my viewpoint its positives like personal growth and minimal chances of getting involved in ill habits are beneficial for individuals.
There are plethora of benefits of living alone that is independent lifestyle and they will fullfill their dream as well as proper focus

Many people live alone in cities. There are number of reasons why this is happening. In this essay, I will highlight the reasons and the advantages and disadvantage of this situation.
One main reason why people live alone is due to the ability to have the personal lifestyle freedom. For instance, the way of decorating a room, or even sleeping or waking up late. It does give the person that kind of happiness that when you live in a big house or shared house you may lack.
This has a number of advantages and disadvantages. One of the advantages is that you may control your own expenses whether on household purchases or other unnecessary expenses. Another advantage is that you will enjoy having your own privacy. No one is there bothering you and asking personal questions. In addition, you may invite your friends over to have fun and enjoy your spare time together, instead of going out all the time.
However, the main disadvantage is that you might put quite a lot of money in renting your own room rather than sharing the rent. In addition, the quite high cost of utilities which could be a burden.
In conclusion, having a solo lifestyle is a blessing to have which helps individuals to learn more of how to deal with hardships.
The number of people who prefer to live alone in many urban areas are getting increase recently. The main reason is because they want to be independent as they start a new life in the city. In my point of view, this trend could lead some drawbacks such as loneliness and depression.
In current times, many people in the cities such as workers and college students feel more comfortable for living alone because they want to be independent. This could encourages individuals to overcome many problems by themselves so they will become stronger in the future. In Indonesia, for instance, students from rural areas who want to get a higher education have to move to the cities. Many of them prefer living in a single room rather than living in a shared house because they want to learn how to become independent.
On the other hand, living alone may cause a loneliness especially for someone that introvert. They might feel isolated and have no one to talk to. This could lead to a bigger problem such as depression. In the UK, more than 80% people who live alone suffer a loneliness and have higher risk to get a depression. This is become a serious problem that should be tackled by the society.
In conclusion, people want to stay alone mainly because they want to be independent. However, a loneliness could be the negative effect following this trend. So, people who live alone should be kept in touch with other people to avoid feeling lonely.
Nowadays in many urban areas, majority of people tend to live by themselves. This is because people are migrating to the other side of the city to get the specific education which they wanted to get degree on which they cannot find in their city I think this have more positive sides as it gives us experience to live alone and helps to learn basic as a cooking and paying the bills

Cities tend to have a high influx of people moving in for better jobs and education, as they are the centers of advancement. These people are usually focused on to start their life in the new place as fast as possible so that they can achieve their final goal. However, due to the lack of platforms for finding a suitable housemate in an unfamiliar place, most people usually end up living alone.
There are advantages to living alone, which primarily includes privacy, independence, and drama-free life. After coming home from a stressful day, nobody likes to get taught as to when to close the bathroom doors, how high should be the TV volume, and how to do the dishes properly. So, living alone seems to be the best option.
However, there are some disadvantages which come with living alone. As a single house owner, one has to pay for electricity, gas, trash, rent, etc. on his own, which tends to be more expensive than sharing a place. Also, sometimes, it is nice to have in-person conversations to share things about daily lives to relieve mental stress.
In my opinion, it is better to live alone as it gives the perfect balance between living life by rules to living life with freedom. However, I do see a lot of potentials in platforms like roommate.com and facebook.com, which can solve the problem of finding suitable companions in the cities.
To conclude, it is up to the individuals to perform their analysis to make a decision, and it seems like - living alone is the prominent choice in cities.
In the immediate time,many people want live their life independently and it feels them comfortable.All they want to build desirable future which they will live without any distraction.Living alone may help in your personal development such as being self-monitoring.In my view,there are manifold pros of this phenomenon.
First of all,you live independently and you may learn a lot of things by facing to your own problems.The good illustration is my experience, I studied at lyceum and stayed at dormitory so I can say it had plethora of benefits to my development whether it is physical or mental.It aids me how to solve problems by myself.And now I take in praid that I can decide without helping of my family.Secondly,you can go wherever you want without permission.For instance,to your courses,development club and a lot of types of education fairs.Shorter, only you plan your daily routine

Idea 1:- Most people move to the city alone, living behind their friends and families. So, it's hard for them to interact and communicate with others due to hesitation and they try to avoid uncomfortable or awkward situations.
Idea 2:- This is certainly a negative development. Interacting with others help to build networks and relations, which contribute to growth of an individual. By isolating with the outside world, a person lost the opportunity for both personal and professional growth.

Privacy is the ability to do things personally without interruptions. Many people live alone in cities for privacy, so that they do not get disturbed or judged for their actions. Some tend to work best when they are in their own space which is not shared thus, they prefer living alone.
For me Group 1 seems more appropriate to use than group 2
I convinced that people prefere to live along becuase in cities they already have all comfortable conditions to live. For instance, your food can be delivered to you almost anywhere, you can chat with people without you family etc and call cleaning companies. All of community advantages already exists in cities
Throughout the world, the trend of living alone has become ubiquitous.
The main reason, I believe, is spending more amount of their time and resources on their job. Living with other people may be troubling in terms of getting distracted by their roommates, spending more time with them leaving the work undone.
There are, I think, several reasons why this is a negative development. The main reason is that when living with family you are sharing responsibilities. For example, you may be good at doing dishes, but can’t cook food. So, you have to spend some time on learning it.

Majority of the people living in cities are who moved from a rural area or small town. So most of the time they moved alone leaving their family for study or work related purposes.

The reason why more people living in cities by themselves is that they are able to support themselves financially and hence live independently.

In my opinion, there is a major benefit of being able to live independently because it allows people to have better problem solving skills.
Nowadays, in many cities around the globe, more and more people are opting to live alone. This is a common yet special phenomenon faced by us. The root can be that most of us find it difficult to find a balance between or personal goals and social commitments. There is strong opinion which advocates that this is pushing the planet further into an abyss of loneliness.
The seeds to this issue are multiple. The most predominant one being the general break down in our ability to sustain meaningful relationships/. The bigger the metropolitan, the more we are focused on our personal interests only. Previously three was a crowd, now two is. All of are losing the art of adjustment and tend to get hurt too fast and then withdraw into a shell. Another factor can be our upbringing where our parents are not teaching us to adjust even to our siblings, leave alone our classmates.
The possible offshoots can be more negative than positive. Though we can enjoy the freedom and independence that a solitary existence can give, however it can be only temporary. Basically each human is a social animal. We need family and friends to be us and share our lives with to feel fulfilled. We want to come back home and spend time with a loved one more than anything else. The rising rate of suicide among well to do singles is an indicator.
All said and done, on one hand, it is mainly the breakdown of the family as a unit, coupled with unbridled ambition that is pushing most denizens of cities to live alone, on the other hand after the first flush of excitement and novelty of living alone wears off , this can prove to be really depressing. I too am inclined to be at par with this view.
A principal reason is that people in big cities are more independent. Since people in big cities are more educated, their chance of having a decent job and be financially independent is higher then that of in rural areas, making they are able to afford the cost of living alone. This is true in Shenzhen, which is a tier one city in China. The percentage of one person household is much higher than other cities nearby. In terms of economic perspective, this is a positive development. If more and more people prefer to live alone, the demand of housing will drive up, which leads to a faster growing real estate industry and in turn a stronger economy. Shenzhen, for instance, is a telling example again. Real estate industry has become one of its fastest growing sectors and has been driving up the whole economy while more and more people in Shenzhen are choosing to live alone.

Yes, this is correct there are 2 parts to this question.
Its an positive development one can be independently enjoy his life by on his own rules and regulations. Also person has not need to live according to someone else's liking.
People prefer to feel a sense of independence and do whatever they want in their place.
People nowadays, are living alone in the cities. These are quite the case seen for a lot of reason, some of them are for independence and privacy.
The comforts of living alone after years of being under the care of their parents would be a motivating factor to them displaying a sense of independence entering their early adulthood, feeling a sense of accomplishment for being alone and capable of doing everything like daily house chores, paying the bills, budgeting and managing everything by themselves is a good example.
Along with this idea, comes privacy. Not having to be bothered in a private moment of self- reflection and focusing on projects . For instance, finishing the last intricate stroke on a canvas of an oil painting requires a large amount of focus with no disturbance coming from a creak of a door opening, these activities require a private moment.
In conclusion, Independence and Privacy are some of the reasons to living alone in many cities. In my opinion, Alone time is a positive development and comes naturally in all of us, there will be a search for companionship and a loving partner but that comes later in life, in the mean time, we should live our solitary lives to the fullest.
