I love soundscapes that involve tombs, crypts or anything involving a resting place for the dead, because they’re meant to be eternally peaceful. Even this one, although it has its moments of rising, horrifying sound, it’s still calming.
Sometimes it's the simple things that can scare us most. Nothing has to actually reach out from the darkness and grab us, it's just the apprehension of what we fear may be in what we can't see into that can keep our fear at its highest. Very wonderful ambience for this month of spooks!
With age, I undestood that it's not the darkness that I fear, but those a little bit darker shapes that move in it. Jokes of my brain, I know it, but still.
There are a ton of ambience channels now and I love many of them but you'll always be my favorite. You've got that top notch quality and the themes are all just so good. Beautiful work.
I imagine this is what Bran Castle would sound like in the basement/crypts if it had any. This mood and setting is just perfect. Makes me want to put on a cape, and other such things.
I joined your channel (5 ) years ago. I searched sleep in RUclips and it directed me to ASMR rooms. Your channel was the first to catch my attention.Over the years and now approaching December 1 ,2021, RUclips has exploded with multiple ASMR ROOMS .But YOUR channel is special to me because YOU we're the first. Thanks for being here for me when I need to unwind and prepare myself for the next day.I really appreciate ALL THAT YOU DO.
European cathedrals and churches have the best crypts. The smell of old stone is mysterious and calming. It's like smelling TIME. But speaking of churches, a Praying Ambience video would be awesome. Like the inside of a gothic church with a cross and altar with candles. Stained glass... Churches are so peaceful and calming.
This is absolutely incredible! Yeah dude, you are a hidden gem in the rough for sure. I love all of your ambience videos! There are days like today where I feel like traveling somewhere else in my head... A thousand thanks for all the peaceful nights of sleep I've had because of your channel. Even this eerie sounding one is so appreciated by me. Thank you, for being a legend! Ps, suggestion from a fan! A snowy blizzard, icey wind through an abandoned mine shaft kind of sounding ambience is something I haven't really found. But specifically eerie, so many snow videos are Christmas themed or just aren't implying a barren, desolate place deep in the mountains, or are just sounds of snow through the trees. Ice caves? Hell yeah. We need that, Guildmaster!
guild of ambience i hope you know that your videos are one of the only things that keep me writing, no other ambience channel does it like you guys do. thank you.
Really well done 🖤 the balance of the different audio elements is excellent, and I love how there are so many different sounds. Makes the entire piece feel more alive
I thank youtube for showing me one of your vids in recommendations. As a GM, I've been looking for a good, solid bibliotheque of soundscapes. Browsed through dozens, but you are the best. The most fitting, exact and rich palette of sounds. A big shoutout to creators and a welcoming "Thank you!" from Moscow!
Been following your channel for a while. I can always find something to set the mood for my creative projects, and you keep making more! They're all great! Keep it up!
This is like walking by your self in the middle of the night going through this and all you can here thing that you never heard be for and heart goes a beating hard then you tell your self RUN...
I abso-fricking-lutely love the extremely distant echoes of lound bangs. You know something BIG is violently causing these noises and you will meet it if you venture forth into these crypts. Do you have the courage to go forth?
Whoa! 😮 This is so Awesome! Gives me goosebumps in a good way. Love the contrast with candles 🕯 and the darkness. So cool the shadows, the echoing sounds and the wind 🌬. Plus, this reminds me of the Crypt in GOT. 🐺 House Stark - ”Tell them, winter is coming ❄️…” House Stark of Winterfell is a Great House of Westeros and the royal house of the Kingdom of the North. Who is your favorite? Arya Stark Now, I have the GOT Theme Song in my head😂 Great Job! In creating this one👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🌎✌🏼
Oh my goodness I love this ... I play it on my tablet at night, & drift off to sleep to the eerie sounds of restless spirits ... My hubby thinks I'm crazy 🤪
You've outdone yourself again my friend. Just in time for all hallows eve I'd love a winter/glacial ambient soundscape one day if you feel so inclined, but I'll surely relish anything you put your mind to
What i found very interesting is that... it doesnt sounds like real life BUT it amplifies the feelings you have when you`d walk in a place like that! Its more like a movie/videogame .
Adventuring parties had come here before, but it had been many years. One difference with this one though. This adventuring party had a vampire amongst it's number. "What say you?" the warrior asked her. "Are there any of your kind here?" The vampiress cocked her head and listened for some time. "None that I can hear. Several lesser undead, however. Possibly a mummy. And," she added a note of warning, "Just because I can't hear them, doesn't mean they aren't there." "Wonderful," the necromancer muttered. "Come on then," the warrior said, and led them on, into the darkness.
These dark ambiences are my favorite. The best part of rpg's is adventuring, and poking your nose into the forbidden dark places yields high risk and high rewards.
Have been waiting for your comeback. I love your videos so much. The creativity and the vibe catch me everytime. I would love to be able to do the things you guys do
This reminds me of Fountains Abbey in England, a ruined monastery that I have a strange feeling of connection to. It makes me sad to see it in trying, and I wonder if there are any ghosts of monks there roaming the stony halls
"This crypt was said to be the resting place for thousands of people who died from the great war ninety years ago, so why are the caskets empty?! If the caretakers moved the bodies to another tomb, they would've put a notice on the entrance, right? Right? It's not like those dead people suddenly decided they need to grab a drink or something..."
If you ever need another idea; may I suggest Church-like ambience? Somewhere where people come to visit their local priest, silently (or not so silently) pray to their god, or come think about their loved ones… or just their life, in general.
This creation speaks of ancient power in the deep places of the earth. The cracking of antiquated and brittle, dried bones @20:50. What sort of foul creature dare desecrates these hallowed tombs and their sacred remains?
Great balance between calm ambience and dark atmosphere. Perfect background music for late nights, thank you!
Agreed, I’ve been using it to read some grimdark fantasy.

Couldn’t have said it better!
Excellent yes! And so calming!

Well said 👻
With age, I undestood that it's not the darkness that I fear, but those a little bit darker shapes that move in it. Jokes of my brain, I know it, but still.
Lovecraft said it best, fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all!
It's the part that sounds like something's calling your name that creeps me out the most. (In the most chilling of voices)...
All is said 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER SOOTHINGLY HAUNTING BANGER!
Yes!
There are a ton of ambience channels now and I love many of them but you'll always be my favorite. You've got that top notch quality and the themes are all just so good. Beautiful work.
Another masterpiece! You often keep us waiting, but you never disappoint.
Always delivers 🙏🏻
I imagine this is what Bran Castle would sound like in the basement/crypts if it had any. This mood and setting is just perfect. Makes me want to put on a cape, and other such things.
I feel like a monster npc waiting for Geralt to arrive
“Hmmm… fuck.”
😂👍
Lmfao 😂

I always loved the theme where these sounds are, but to experience this kind of sound themes in real life would be the scariest thing ever
Totally agree.

The dead speak! Somehow The Guild of Ambience returned

Immersive atmosphere.I love those intense sounds!👻
Good to see you back!
Well this just made my Birthday!! 🌚 Aren’t you the best!! It’s so slow and relaxing with all the haunting tidbits 😍
every time the guild posts another banger I just explode from excitement lol
love the artwork... that passage leading into darkness
Reading Lovecraft with this piece is fantastic.
I love these Ambience songs because they help my creative part of my brain start to work.
guild of ambience i hope you know that your videos are one of the only things that keep me writing, no other ambience channel does it like you guys do. thank you.

So excited to study with this one later.
Really well done 🖤 the balance of the different audio elements is excellent, and I love how there are so many different sounds. Makes the entire piece feel more alive
Love the eerie atmosphere you've built here!

A big shoutout to creators and a welcoming "Thank you!" from Moscow!
This channel always delivers!
Most fitting, exact and rich, and one of the least-looping. Big bonus when you don't keep hearing the same samples in quick succession.
So glad to have you back! This is amazing in every sense, so atmospheric and foreboding! Thank you, yet another favorite!🎃💀🧛🏻♂️
Been following your channel for a while. I can always find something to set the mood for my creative projects, and you keep making more! They're all great! Keep it up!
So interesting! I just want to be on the move, always, with you. There's always something to see and feel and think about.
This is wonderful! Perfect for listening in the dark with lights out or reading the book. So pleasant for ears 😁👍
I’ve been using it to read some grimdark fantasy books and I agree!
I'm using it while I read the locked tomb series !! necromancer lesbians RISE
Finally you are back 😄 missed watching your ambience videos
You have really perfected that art of balance, with every sound mixed together in all your videos!.. Definitely the best of this type of channel
wow lol. i was thinking that its time the guild uploaded another piece and VOILA!
This is like walking by your self in the middle of the night going through this and all you can here thing that you never heard be for and heart goes a beating hard then you tell your self RUN...
Perfect for Halloween! For me the rolling fog really seals it. Well done GoA!
Yes ! Finally a new sound for falling asleep and make sweet dreams. Nice work as always !
I abso-fricking-lutely love the extremely distant echoes of lound bangs. You know something BIG is violently causing these noises and you will meet it if you venture forth into these crypts. Do you have the courage to go forth?
I absolutely love every single one of your videos. They're all masterpieces and this one is so fitting for spooky season. Thank you for posting.

awsm work mates
Glad you're back with another
I truly enjoy every single piece of your work. Your style is outstanding.
Kind of gives me Winterfell crypt vibes idk why
I've got a scene I'm close to writing were my main character goes into a crypt just like this. Thank you so much. Perfect timing.
Whoa! 😮 This is so Awesome! Gives me goosebumps in a good way. Love the contrast with candles 🕯 and the darkness. So cool the shadows, the echoing sounds and the wind 🌬.

Great Job! In creating this one👍🏼👍🏼🙏🏼🌎✌🏼
Anybody play the original Thief games? This has the same vibes all over it...
It's scary but beautiful. It's mysterious and charming. Thank you so much for allowing me to watch a good video.💕🥰💙👍👍

THEY'RE BACK
Reminds me of DnD - love the creepy ambiance and dark shadows🖤
How beautiful.

I need the rest of the story! And the beginning! And...the vampiress
@@DeDd0k so the inspiration was a character called Hexxat, but feel free to adjust as you need ! :D
I live for these sounds
Sitting in a chair by the fire at Grimewade House sounds like a nice idea!
*bolts from premises*
Mmmmmm, thank you so much for making this! A delightful soundscape to direct my dreams
This helps me sleep thank you so much for the upload 👌 you've got yourself a new subscriber.
i can imagine this place feeling very welcoming and safe if i was a vampire.
Honestly I fell asleep listening to this...
Always appreciate the posts (quality over quantity) and the escapism. Many thanks, Guild.
This is so relaxing
Perfect background sound for reading!! 10/10
These dark ambiences are my favorite. The best part of rpg's is adventuring, and poking your nose into the forbidden dark places yields high risk and high rewards.
This is the perfect ambient soundtrack for my scary book reading.
THANK YOU! 0:00

I draw creature art to this. Gets me all the way into the zone.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SCENE!!
It makes me feel like I have to solve a puzzle in a survival horror game. It makes you feel relaxed and focused at the same time, I loved this.
Dont know why I find this so relaxing and calming. I sleep to this and I dont know why it works, lol.
Honestly same
perfect to study, thanks
Long live The Guild! 🛡
This fits in so well with Liminal Spaces
Honey, get in here! Yeah, The Guild of Ambience just uploaded a new video. Get the candy corn, we're gonna sit here and listen for the next hour!
Just in time for the witching hour!

god yes im about to fall asleep to this absolutely love your ambiences as sleep aids
Love it, thanks 👍🏼👻🎃🖤
I've slept so peacefully since I discovered this video. I can't even get more than a few minutes in, I'm out like a light!
Oh, hell yeah...
Sounds like just the place you might find underground goblins.
"This crypt was said to be the resting place for thousands of people who died from the great war ninety years ago, so why are the caskets empty?! This is soooo BEAUTIFUL !! 🍸😺👍 Thank You !
Creepy.... I would've loved having access to this 25 years ago in my DnD days.
I wish we could walk around there.

1:47.... spooky. This really sets up the next hour, along with the hairs on the back of your neck!
This creation speaks of ancient power in the deep places of the earth.
The cracking of antiquated and brittle, dried bones @20:50. What sort of foul creature dare desecrates these hallowed tombs and their sacred remains?
Reminiscent of the Diablo atmosphere in the catacombs
Yoo, I was just listening to one yesterday 🤣
as allways. epic
Makes me remember "amnesia: the dark descent" lovely ambience.
Wish it were more than 1 hour
Dude the description is so crazy. I live next to Black Mountain lol
Remind me never to visit the cave system under it
Why is this so CALMING?
I’m scared but I like it !
