  • Way back when the game first came out and nobody knew what all the legend cars were, we assumed after seeing the ACS1 Coupé as the Legend 1 reward that all the subsequent ones would be equally as dominating. They most definitely weren't. The ACS1 ruined Class D. From the very beginning it was just so fast and versatile that there was really no point in using any other cars, except maybe the Challenger SRT8 on tracks that needed higher clearance. It was truly the game's first jack of all trades, and the maxed out Legendary version being available early on made it the most widely available top tier vehicle. When we flipped to drifting, that difference became even more extreme. The Class D tier list went "ACS1 Coupé", "Challenger SRT8", and "who cares". If you wanted to win, you had to use one of those two, and the ACS1 was always the safer bet. It proved capable of some astounding runs during the chain drift era.
On that related topic, here would be my power rankings list of legendary cars:
    ACS1 Coupé
    Astra Extreme
    M3 E92 (Drift)
    Mustang GT-R Concept
    Challenger SRT8
    Nemesis
    Monaro (VXR)
    Camaro SS
    Viper ACR
Audi TTS Coupe (great for Motor Mash though!)
