    The digital effects on this movie were masterful. I actually thought that the twins were twins. They’re just one dude with a body double, I couldn’t believe it

    I just realized the symbolism in them winning the first race by a huge margin and their talk to each other while in the lead, and their loss to the other team at the national championship. The win represents their ease at getting whatever they want with their connections, and their loss represents what happens when they don't get their way. All around amazing screenwriting.

    my favorite part of this scene is the more hotheaded/douchey winclevoss twin saying “on _every_ page” from behind the newspaper while he proceeds to flip the paper, it’s like he is so done with Mark’s “classiness” lol

    “Shit, I need a second to let the classiness waft over me”.
    No one talks like that. Absolutely no one talks like that. Let alone a college student. And it’s still a fantastic line.

    For the record science actually says you'd keep moving at constant velocity in that situation (neglecting friction, drag)

    • @johnny5731
      @johnny5731 6 лет назад +18

      Neglecting the water.

      science says you can't ignore friction. besides if you were ignoring drag and friction the paddles wouldn't do anything anyway, regardless whether they were rowing in opposite directions...

    • @EGL24Xx

      You can't neglect drag in a case where the force is huge.

    • @martijnbouman8874

      Yeah but you should not neglect drag in the water. They would slow down quickly.

      actually since they each have a paddle on opposite sides of the boat, it would spin in place.
