Hi, The Nova Ride component is bigger than the standard one. So, with Nova Ride part you may use a new chain. Impossible to tell you exactly the number of links you need in addition it also depends on many other parameters like the size of your bike and the groupset parameters you have. The spin is so smooth. Just wonder currently I’m using full 105 stock cassette 11/32 crank 34/50 and I’m planning to install the nova oswp 12/20t. Do I need to change the chain or I can keep using the current one ?
The chain must be sized up so that the stopper of the nova ride pulley is under tension (i.e. 2-3mm gap from the derailleur body when in small sprocket on rear and small cog on front
